Lunging ALL Our Horses in one VIDEO

that's crazy I know I've never had like we always we hate outdoor cats it's not our thing but sometimes when you live in a farm well actually we have had them before but I hate it it's not it's not fun for us oh look at he's under there too hi hi guys but what's amazing is that how happy she is hi babe so Sophie has a plan she says if there's an egg we should crack it for the chickens turn on the light there's an egg so the reason she wants to do it right there is because she thinks it'll make them friendly and oh I'm gonna take this out I tried I tried filling this I tried filling this with water but it's not a good not a good situation oh remind me I need to get chicken food though this thing holds half a bag so it's full all right let's go there's oh you guys are not laying in the oh yeah we need to put a clip on this like a hook on the inside of this coop because the cats really like to come in here yeah throw it at them so we got them from a hatchery so they're not very friendly oh they're gonna eat it look she's gonna go for it they're excited about it they say don't do this because it teaches your chickens to eat their eggs but we've never had chickens eat our eggs there they look so much better than when we first got them don't they look better they look fluffier they look bigger they look way healthier and they're young I actually really liked buying from there just because it was the perfect age it cost $200 almost for four or five chickens good choice Sophie yeah you should have broken it open a little bit more if she's stepping on it she's like all this break it open for them yay eggs are really healthy for chickens I've been fighting over it a little white ones a little spitfire a people they fly too maybe when it gets really hot in the summer and it gets hot in here maybe they'll head outside it to the shaded area well I'm happy with how they are now I know this is like total enrichment for the cats they live in here but they come in here as much as they can so he's like why is everything all in the way it's dad how come you don't sweep in here here give me that I want to take it out I want to cut some grass I love this thing yeah Sam got it for me last year and I love it I also have this little thing for my phone and I never use it and I want to use it well hi Willow just about killed myself on a wheelbarrow hi babe we haven't seen you in so long it feels like we see her every day yeah you look nice she's an old girl but little miniatures aren't like she's 22 or something yeah you're such a cute girl okay how friendly she is she's not that friendly don't you touch my hair Sophie says that she still doesn't love being brushed and she doesn't love like we can't just go out in the field and groom her because she isn't just down there but she's a little chubby but not too bad she looks so cute you look so cute she's like what treats did you bring me Wow Stormy's laying down he's like oh she cleaned up some of this poop the other day for me yeah he's so cute let me come springtime on the farm oh now you're surrounded he says don't stop petting me oh a bug you look so cute Stormy yeah we want to get him in shape I know your horses always want you maybe while you do look at there's the cat too brave now look he's pinning his ears he's like get away from her no he's mad at the whole goat horses for bothering him but she always gets surrounded by horses mm-hmm always yours I want you to get Gracie ready tack Gracie up and I'll bring her out and get a bigger girth all right well I want to go down and do the check the goats will you give me a minute oh I was brushing penny how did I forget that I have so much I want to do okay but you can shave her but it's going to be so cold the next week it's gonna be freezing again yeah once it gets warm it's honey we should do honey to our horses are all still really hairy because that's what it's like she does you're right yeah she needs to get shaved but it's like still cold here and I know people say that it's determined by the light and she they still have a lot of hair our horses in Canada unless they're like thoroughbreds that hardly grow hair or like store storm grew good hair this year though storms out there playing with that cat I bet yeah oh no he's not the cat is bothering the goats all right I'll be right back I will you why don't you bring in honey why don't I watch her you bring in honey and then you can do both of them all right so all right take over Gracie this year I like luncher and get her in shape because my grandkids are gonna maybe ride more and if any of my grandkids like really get into it I'll put them in lessons the thing about animals is that there are a million ways to take care of animals just like there are a million ways to take care of kids and just because some people don't do it the way you do it or some people don't do it the way we do it doesn't mean they're doing it wrong it took me a really long time to learn that but once I did learn that it was really good because now I just I don't even see how people do it differently unless they're doing something that's different and it makes sense to me and then I want to steal it but I rarely ever feel like someone doing something differently it doesn't affect me it doesn't make me feel like they're wrong and I love that it's so much easier when you don't have to worry about what other people are doing and if you especially if you don't compare yourself listen listen Oh posy posy's been so bad all day I think she's in heat oh stop anyway I just wanted to come and check on babies oh posy she never ever does this but when she's in heat she does this thing where she comes up to you and she pushes you with her nose and she does it so strong like she just wants attention because she's in heat I told Sam we should put her out with the babies mama had them all bedded down this morning it was so beautiful did you guys poop in your minerals literally not the smartest place to poop but whatever anyway look this is it this is all we got you guys let me show you we have mom who always stands over here in case somebody tries to nurse from her this is it this is all of our goats like this is it I'm so lonely it's so lonely yep this is it this is all we got like just a handful of little goats and it's okay it's okay like I know we're gonna be okay I just part of the reason I love goats so much is because I'm able to look at them it's like bird watching we goat watch a lot but I love the ones I mean half of these are not are the four of these are still leaving oh my gosh he knocked off his other thing on his head boy he's a piece of he's a wild one he even does it to the goats she'll just push them around and it might not seem like but it hurts gonna be she's the next one do she's doing exactly a month four weeks from yesterday and she might go late but her mom never goes late today I told you guys that we sent Tilly on to her new home oh I've had some updates about her the lady said that she spent a lot of time with her last night and she said that she let her sit in her stall with her and pet her and braid her beard we know she said when she went out this morning out posing she said when she went out this morning that she was shy again and so she said she's just gonna she had to go to work for a couple hours and then she was gonna spend some time with her she said that she called out to her a bunch of times while they were eating on their back deck and she can see them and she called out to them and that made me sad because I'm sure she was like take me back to my family now I need to find my children and go home but cuz that she talks like she communicates really well but anyway she said she really likes her and I was so worried like I thought I was worried about where she'd end up anyway she said she's gonna breed her one time in the fall let her have babies and she's keeping her baby so posy so she has a girl she'll get to keep a girl forever she'll get to keep her daughter forever and ever and ever and there and that will be the only two girls that they have she has weathers right now a couple of weathers so she'll be able to have her babies and keep them and that's like my biggest dream for her to be able to just keep a baby because that's what she wants to do but when I was like contemplating selling Tilly it was so stressful for me but I just kept thinking like the kind of herd that I could have without a lead goat that has horns because like I said before goats that have horns know they have horns and they use them it's just easy to like poke all the other animals to get them out of their way like it when you put a horned goat in a field with no horned goats you're just setting her up to be a bully to be honest ha ha posy heck who are you sleeping with who's your friend look posy found her so you guys I hope I'm able to show you guys now so much more of our goats now that we don't have like a strong leader with horns and they're not pushed off all the time because look at this I've been meaning to show you all this time how posh loves the babies too like she loves the baby she finds them she lays down beside them she's like she accepts them like she's so sweet to them and today for the first time she was able to find herself a baby okay who she's got there she's got a little button that's adorable that's all she wants is somebody to love her hi you got a bloody head yep that's gross I have to put some medicine on that for you also if you're wondering about how yesterday Sam and I half cleaned out this stall and I said we're gonna finish it today well one of us hurt their back and it's not me so we have to put it on hold now until he's feeling better do you guys need more minerals nope your minerals are full I'm coming what oh I was fast she's terrified of that plague but last year she was good so Sophie loves to listen to music when she works with her horse because it keeps her calm and then it keeps the horse calm she wants like a speaker that can hook to your shirt or something like that so that it's easy like she can just put it on her so she can play her music we will be the biggest band around around the world we'll go putting on the greatest show so make sure that you don't miss out just be there we're taking our shot what you got we're going all the way to the top we will hear the sound of 1 million people screaming our names when we're backstage we'll play loud surf in the crowd everybody's jumping around yeah that's the place where I wanna be going on stage headline on the Saturday night I'm gonna quit my job so now Sophie will just trot until she's calm and then she'll go the other way see she knows what the exact spot that Sophie told her to canter she knows the exact she's just anticipating it she's just her personality I think to be honest like some people are the same like they just they have to know what to expect and they have to know what they're about to do like they she and I actually probably does come from getting in trouble for cantering but she just she does she just has anxiety about it and she might have it for a long long time you're gonna call it there Sophie loves she loves lunging but so he's gonna call it there because she lowered her head and she relaxed and she and on a good note so there's a horse calling for us and I said is that your horse or more my horse I said is that your horse or my house horse and she said it's mine I said it sounds like mine so maybe I may or may not have stabbed myself I was picking the wrong way I know but like some things are just easier even though they're not the right way or stab yourself so I'm saying I love this Gracie's like it's about time I get to go ready she's like oh she's a spry little thing she might not seem like she is but she's a spry little thing oh yes I know so Sophie's going to lunge storm are you lunging him and then she's just gonna throw him back in the field and then she's gonna lunge Gracie for me all right so the problem is she can't just stand here eating eating grass because it's not good for her yet needs to be longer and she needs to be weaned on to it I don't think I can stop her to be honest I may or may not be able to film because I'm babysitting crazy no no and she makes a better door than a Thank goodness that's all I got to say so I don't know if I told you guys I think I did but one time last year was it last year I think it was walking our friend's little girl around on Gracie she's wearing a Western saddle and they're just walking and around and around like you do with little kids Gracie just laid down he's been such a good little pony we love Gracie like we just love her that's she just wants to eat the grass they all want to come they all want to come out here and then they realize they can't my kids grew up with their friends riding her and she just was such a versatile little pony because behind this pony underneath this pony you would never know that she has she had automatic lead changes and she hurt your brain that she's so fast she's nothing like storm Oh this summer I want to get a tan like a better tan last year I got a tan but this house doesn't have like in the past we've had like pools and backyards that are kind of private that you can set up and you can tan in and I want to do that this year but there's no place like close to the house that you can tan but I think because they spend so much time out here in this field I'm gonna just get like a lounge chair and lay out here and while I watch Sophie lunging and riding and stuff I'll be able to just lay out here and watch in fact I might get to I have to I might put them both out here and then like whoever with us sometimes a trainer comes over sometimes like a friend is over sometimes parents might like my grandkids parents are here we can just lay out here and get some Sun where we'll go put on the greatest show so make sure that you don't miss out just crazy's one of those horses that knows your words like so Gabby Sophie says oh she's much calmer now poof she stops she's like oh does that mean we're going in all right look at that yeah we should can you thin mains yeah look I don't know if you guys can see cuz the Sun is so bright but that green halter on her is gorgeous all right so Sophie says this is gonna be interesting she didn't even tell her to do anything yet she hasn't even told her what to do like that's how fast this little girl learned so she's five this year no for this year yeah she's grown up so anyway she's four so I told somebody you really need to like do a lot of work with her this year nope there she goes make her into willow make her into willow number two if you guys don't remember she did like like a free jumping with willow she just had to show her where to go she did it was like agility it was so amazing she's amazing What you got! We're going all the way to the top. We will hear the sound of one million people. Screaming our names when we're backstage! We'll play loud, surfing the crowd. Everybody's jumping around. Yeah, that's the place where I wanna be. Going on stage headline on a Saturday night. OH! She actually got her to slow down. She had to shorten the circle and she had to like just make her, like what did you do? You shortened her circle so she didn't have as much control. And then how'd you get her to slow down? But she got her to slow down. I feel like she was the best one today because she is used to just running wild. Like you guys see she runs and runs and runs while Sophie rides. So she's so used to that. But today Sophie got her to actually look at Sophie and pay attention and listen to her and that is huge. She can't run full speed if she's in a small circle. Yeah I know. So I brought her back and then I let her slowly like go out. But then if she like went fast again she would have to come back to a smaller circle. So she's like oh I have to calm down. And it worked for her. Like it really worked for her because that was the best, the best one today because she improved so much. Hi Willow. Sophie trusts this mare so much she let her off the lead rope and then when she tried to get her back on the lead rope we thought for sure she made a big mistake but she's a good girl. She let her catch her. She's a good girl. It's so hot outside though. Like it's hot out. Like 20 degrees. Well like maybe 22 degrees. So hot in the sun. And like 70. And inside the barn it's cold. It's cool. That's why I love the way we set up this barn.
