A group of 23 panda cubs have made their public debut in China.
They were shown off at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base
in the Sichuan province after being born here this year.
A huge accomplishment given how difficult it can be
to get these animals to reproduce in captivity.
Giant pandas have just been taken off the endangered species list
because of a population rebound in China.
This outing showing exactly how much effort is being poured into conservation work.
That will of course be celebrated at the country's national day tomorrow.
So it's no wonder then these cubs are taking this time to rest ahead of the party.
