Decoding Loch Ness

Well folks that was a short intro. It just goes to show you what's around the
corner you turn in this wonderful place called Scotland.
So I'm inspiring myself not only to be a great landscape photographer
but also as a shepherd. In this short fast epic two days I visited
Loch Ness and all the surrounding areas. The places I visited you don't need to
have a mirrorless camera, DSLR. Everyone these days has a phone camera.
So these locations make great snaps for all your social media images.
I hope you like this vlog. If you do hit the like,
subscribe and let's get on with the show.
Hey so I'm at a place called Invermorriston Falls
just south of Urquhart Castle and what a little
gem this place is. I'm not going to waffle on about
how I get here, Invermorriston. Google it, I'll put a map where it is but look
check out this view. Look, look at that. Isn't that spectacular?
Anyway I'm gonna get a few snaps, work my way up the rivers and
see how I get on. I'll put all my images in a little
montage at the end for you and always on to the next location.
See you soon. Hey guys so I'm down by Invermorriston Falls.
It's a double bridge as you can see. So what I'm trying to do is capture that
nice waterfall, long exposure. The only thing with long
exposure, the trees are going to be moving.
Anyway I'm going to take a few snaps, I'll put them all up at the end for you.
Anyway on to the next location but I'll put a map up where exactly this is in
the corner of the screen. So see you soon and welcome to the Bridge
of Wyke. This is located on the Great Glenway
just short of Loch Ness. Quite a famous bridge and very
good for photography. So I can see a good black and white coming out of this.
So anyway quite easy for parking, I'll show you.
You just park here and the bridge is just there.
So roadside photography. So anyway on to the next location and I'll
see you there. Hey and welcome to Castle Urquhart on the
banks of Loch Ness. I'm going to get a few images here
obviously with a bit of ambient light. Hopefully the castle will light up
brilliantly and yeah we'll see. Take a look at that
view. Castle Urquhart. What a lovely sunset it's
turning out to be. Anyway as always get a few images here
and pop them up the screen at the end of here
and see you at the next location. Morning guys I'm in Fort Augustus
so no glorious sunshine this morning but I'm at the bridge on Fort Augustus
and I've seen this nice composition I'm after
and tower. Nice moody shot. So we'll see how we get on with these
images here and always on to the next location
and I'll see you there. Hi guys and morning
on this very much overcast day here in Scotland. I'm now making my way down
to Plodder Falls locating
just outside Tomnick in Glen Affric. So I will see you there.
Hi guys and welcome to Plodder Falls. Not going to waffle on here or give you
some jibber jabber. Let's show you the views.
Look at that. Absolutely stunning. So there we have it Plodder Falls.
Let's get some images down here and get down to
the bottom. There's a path going down to the bottom
so you can actually get to the bottom of the fall
down here which I'm planning to do. So anyway let's
crack on and get some images done and I'll see you soon at the bottom
onto the next location. Hi guys welcome to the bottom of Plodder Falls.
I've got a couple of images from where I'm standing.
We'll see how they turn out but it's absolutely so misty and we're getting
drops of water under the front of the lens.
I'm soaking wet here but we'll see how they turn out.
Anyway let's get off to the next location
Glen Affric. Hi guys and welcome to the next location
Glen Affric. So I parked the car in the car park at
Glen Affric car park obviously but you've got about a four kilometer
trek to get to this viewpoint. It's absolutely stunning with the
Caledonian Pine, Loch Affric, the mountains, absolutely stunning.
So I've popped off a couple of images here
and let's put a closure on this vlog now and show you some of the
images that I've captured over these two days up in
obviously up by Loch Ness, Glen Affric, Plodder Falls.
On to the future. I'll be doing Isle of Skye,
parts of Torridon, Gerlach and Switzerland.
So yeah see you in the future.
