Gold Match - Carol/Rebecca vs. Gottardi/Orsi Toth, R. | Highlights | Brasilia 2026 #BeachProTour

We are all the way to our women's gold medal match championship super sunday hardware three of the world right now it's really nice gold medal match underway brazil and yellow and it is italy in those green tops that free ball will be going long and a roar i like that she starts aggressive as she needs to be as she knows that hitting is her best option carol will pull and she gets the float from rebecca drops quickly trouble here for italy it's gonna be an ace for rebecca that's the kind of switch they want against a team that can serve oh left arm stabby dig valentina what an effort i'm gonna send it over deep try to reset the defense here oh an amazing touch valentina in transition look out below oh my i don't think there's any other athlete that does this kind of thing as she does the effort that she puts how far did she says that the person is holding the ball tiny bit and changing where the ball is coming from where it's going oh look out off the right shoulder coming in aggressive there you're not saying it wasn't it just something to understand better nice little tomahawk from rebecca it's a good touch for valentina but unfortunately she is in the net no complaints there for italy very good job by rebecca and i kind of feel that she has to come more aggressive on the pros tight ball good save from valentina a bit of trouble here from brazil good roll up just enough not many options for rebecca there speaking of generating some power no aces yet for the italians that's a nice looking serve from carol and that's the thing as well like trying to do with italy what either you do to everyone like back out why that one is going to be a little bit long valentina is going to be calling the touch there feels like they were not getting her best balls yet so nobody up carol there is reika it's a little bit tight nice soft touch from valentina off the net a bit of confusion here carol from her knees puts up a good set what a cover that stays on the side of brazil crazy rally here wonder if leticia's gonna get a time out was like to have leticia's calm and say okay yes indeed good pass from rebecca there's a good swing and it's deep and hard doesn't need to be that the way she wanted look was that a ball she had the rock out dropping serve quickly break a chip line another pokey dig from rebecca this ball a bit tighter and that's a beautiful angle for rebecca who is on fire right now that's reika into the hair bring up set point number one yeah really good job on doing the back and forth like kind of like giving the space to go back for it see how she gets there on a service run creates an overpass rebecca wanted it shine and a smile she didn't think it was going in i don't think i think the thing was the serve they serve it really really well you know they broke the reception a lot and sometimes even when you don't deserve to start set two nice lefty touch from rebecca second time of asking chip to the line rebecca with an excellent move what a touch she is everywhere right now down the line to end it on these situations if she gets a tempo then she can just get the puller in a tougher spot shot to the line for her back guys perfect oh nice back jump set rick uh but look who's there carol what a cover open that again down the middle carol with a good touch what an athletic dynamic move from valentino on both of those plays it's like the one we saw before look how how far she stretches using that leg don't want to miss a valentina guitardi match speaking of valentina how about a roof on carol i really thought that would be a one for carol to pull because the ball was a bit further than that one if i would hear but no i cannot hear a word quick jump set that is really nice another jump set let's fight off from rebecca to the line again it's the late moves rebecca thinks that there's space and all of a sudden it's closed i kind of feel it's a good moment to shoot more as well because if they have good calls it was definitely a call a good call again the movement is really nice and i love that off speed chop there from racha and i also think it's a great thing that they're opening up the game not quite the lift and valentina touching everything right now does she have another one in her good touch shot really good change up you wanted some more shots maria there 14 12 feels like a little moment here for both teams off the tape that's a break for racha and i like the smiles from italy right now beautiful pass carol good read from racha to tie this one up what a read from rebecca but oh nice cover oh wow beautiful ball by the dig and also by rebecca this was the position that rebecca went on that huge scoring run and set one that one out of reach for her back a good change up break has been going chop chop this time to the line to her line dropping it a little short in front of valentina valentina off speed that is a nice change up using shots like this she becomes extremely deadly speaking of deadly look at the scoop from racha it's over the net racha there on the block carol didn't see her there oh what a play wow bride's veil the bride's veil you said it racha i'm out for leticia getting in on the blocking action and out of bounds valentina hands up she loves what a short serve from rebecca the set over rebecca is there the bump over racha there the poke over oh my goodness rally of the match right there some crazy touches for both teams very good from both players break a cut shot nicely done freezing rebecca another look at this shot rebecca dug in deep gold medal point for brazil break up from the right chip line rebecca there a swing for the take home the gold medal here in brazilia
