They stand here today, radiant and majestic, conveying a message of unity—Jain, Buddhist, and Hindutva—illuminating their own consciousness and humanity with great grace and splendor.
Moreover, due to their unique characteristics, these caves have also been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list.

This Cave No. 2, dating back to the 8th century, has two doorkeepers standing at its entrance doorway.
In this vihara made of twelve pillars, the Buddha is seated on a lion throne in the Dharma preaching mudra.
And in the companionship, on both sides of the niche, you will see five other statues of Lord Buddha, along with images of deities, officers, and fairies.
This is cave number 5, different from the other caves.
As soon as you enter this cave, you will see this large hall ahead, and beneath this hall, you will notice two long, parallel stone benches made of rock. In those days, Buddhist monks used to eat here.
In the central shrine of this vihara, the statue of Lord Buddha, depicted as a bodhisattva and a gandharva, is seated in the vajra mudra.
This is the World Karma Cave dedicated to Buddhism, located in the caves of Ellora, which is a special cave.
Among all the Buddhist caves, this is a unique cave whose interior chaitya vihara is constructed on two floors.
You will see very beautiful statues of Lord Buddha on the right and left, as well as Padmapani and Vajrapani.
