Trump's Prays For Political Paramedics Stat, As His House, Is Sinking!
Hey, welcome back in to Occupy Democrats on a manic Monday, and at this rate,
Donald Trump is not going to have anybody left around him, especially the Speaker of the House,
Mike Johnson, to celebrate his birthday with him when we get close to America's
250th birthday on July 4th. I'm going to show this breaking story to you in just a few moments
because, ooh, somebody needs to get some first aid really quick or he's going down in a heartbeat.
Oh, yeah. Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House, one of Trump's boys, who just seems to flip-flop
worse than a waffle being turned over, is in real deep trouble. And it's of his own doing,
but also, of course, with the help from Daddy Donald. Jon Stewart kind of put it best when he
said this. He's got a big list of things to do. He's got the covering up of the Epstein files.
Because here's your standard Johnson fumbling about on that subject.
We're not going to play political games with this. We've all been very
clear and transparent. The House rules resolution sets a good standard and requires all credible
evidence to be released. The President has said clearly, and he has now ordered his DOJ
to do what it is we've all needed DOJ to do for years now, and that is to get everything
released. So they're in the process of that. But it was all going to be sold by the big,
beautiful bill, right, Mike? It's pro-level ignorance support.
We've been working on it since day one of this Congress, and we've already demonstrated this is
not talking points for us. When we say the Republican Party is the only party that has
any chance at fixing health care for the American people, we've demonstrated it. We put it into the
one big, beautiful bill, the Working Families Tax Cut. And then Johnson lost Republican support
regarding the Affordable Care Act in his own house here. But if you want a relationship to work,
you've got to put in that kind of effort every day. Out of Capitol Hill, where four House
Republicans, as I mentioned at the top of the show, defied Speaker Mike Johnson by signing on
to a democratically drafted discharge petition to force a vote on extending Obamacare tax credits
for three years. And just the other day, in keeping with the cognitive dissonance of both
Donald Trump and his entire cabinet of people, Johnson actually had the audacity to say this.
You've got to show up for that person. They have full-on Trump derangement syndrome,
and it informs how they see the world and how they react and how irresponsible they are now
is on full display for the whole country. But Jon Stewart hammers it home perfectly
with a genius montage. Every day, Mike Johnson does. I don't know anything about the meme coin
thing. I don't know. That's the first I've heard of that. I don't know anything about it. I don't
know. I've never seen the Epstein evidence. I haven't seen the specifics of that. I don't
know the details. I just saw a headline this morning. I haven't seen it. I can't comment
on it. I've been a little busy today. Look, I don't know anything about the dinner. I was
a little busy this past week. I don't know anything about it yet. I've been really busy.
Do you support those comments or not? I don't know what Eric was saying,
because I only heard just a snippet there. I don't know the context.
You just saw it, sir.
Because Mike Johnson needs a first aid quick, Daddy Donnie, right now, here.
I hope voters remember this in the fall. You've got to keep the grown-ups in charge,
and that's the Republicans. No, Mike. The Republicans are not the adults in the room.
But that has brought Johnson to the breaking point, and that's going to cost Trump the House
in the midterms. Check this breaking story out. Senate GOP fears Mike Johnson has lost control
and could cost them in midterms. Concerns are growing among Senate Republicans that Mike
Johnson has lost control of his conference, potentially making his leadership a major
liability in the upcoming midterm elections, The Hill reported Monday.
It's not like these things are hard, said Senator Kevin Cramer, RND, according to The Hill.
That's the thing. I feel like the Senate has teed up things fairly easily for them,
even to the point where if they don't like it, they can blame us. And they still haven't taken
the opportunity to actually govern, and I do think it's hurting the brand. The House is rowdy.
Johnson faced a convergence of challenges last week during an absolutely brutal week,
one that sparked waves of infighting over GOP priorities that Johnson has struggled to quash.
After opposing a Senate-passed bill to fund the majority of the Homeland Security Department
in late March, Johnson and the House GOP ultimately advanced the bill last week,
leaving Republican senators wondering what the whole month of House GOP protests was about.
The Hill's report reads, My colleagues over there need to start playing team ball,
said Senior Tom Tillis, RNC, The Hill reported. Their behavior is being noticed by people.
We can't blame Democrats for the dysfunction that's going on over there right now,
and it's a really bad look for people going into at-risk districts going into November.
Another Senate Republican speaking with The Hill on the condition of anonymity
described the House as being like a wreck, and argued that they didn't know if they're coming
or going. We don't actually know, obviously, the outcome of what November will look like,
but there's an element in this country, and it's actually part of the American culture in lots of
ways, that when you dismiss and denigrate a little too much, when you kick sleeping dogs
a little too much, sometimes it comes back and bites you in the bootay. And the reality is,
what the Supreme Court just did with the Voting Rights Act, and stuff like what Johnson and the
Big Beautiful Bill really are, kicking people off of their health care, millions of people,
et cetera, sometimes it actually causes people who didn't get out of their house
to finally get out of their house. And that remains to be seen, but whether or not Mike
Johnson survives the summer is going to be one of the big things on the docket for Donald Trump and
his ego about who he thinks is making him look bad. You guys like and share the video, and stay frosty.
