Charming floral still lifes by artist Isaac Levitan

The flowery naturemortae of the artist Isaac Levitin are admired for their exquisiteness and subtlety. The number of them is small and they are incredibly valuable. In his works of this genre, you can feel a life-affirming suffering tone, a special love for flowering, in general, for nature. On the paintings of Levitin, we see modest bouquets of field flowers. Basil, dandelions, clover of lilac, written with a piercing tenderness and warmth. In them, the very element of flowering life in nature is recreated. Levitin's naturemortae are distinguished by a piercing experience of the fragile beauty of nature.
