Join Zoo Atlanta as our two new giant panda cubs grow up.
The giant panda cubs are now 41 days old. Their eyes usually open between days 35 and 48
and their ears open sometime between days 31 and 50. We're noticing that the cubs seem to react a
little bit more to some noises, which is leading us to believe that their ears are starting to open.
We are really happy to report that cub B has hit another big milestone. At 35 days of age,
we noticed that cub B's eyes were starting to open. Every day since, they seem to open just
a little bit more. Cub A's eyes have yet to show themselves, but that's okay. This little guy or
girl can take all the time that it needs. In no time at all, we and Loon Loon will have wide-eyed,
squirmy panda twins to keep up with.
