Living Large In 22m²_ A Stunning Micro-Apartment Transformation In Taiwan

Welcome to a 22 square meter renovated flat in Taipei City. Small in size, but big in design. This apartment shows how thoughtful planning meets modern urban living. As housing prices soar, young residents are adapting to smaller living spaces, making every square meter count. The client's priorities were simple, but essential. A cozy space to return to, with room for relaxation, cooking and comfortable storage. This renovation focused on functionality while keeping the space as open as possible, ensuring it's suitable for long-term living. Despite the compact layout, the apartment includes all essentials. The mezzanine level is designed for sitting or lying down. It houses the bed and the low desk. Optimizing the 3.3 meter height. The apartment's layout allows for multifunctional use of each area, providing comfort and flexibility for different activities. A tatami area by the window makes full use of the alcove, while adding storage. A practical solution for tight spaces. Fixed furniture like kitchen cabinets and wardrobes are built into the walls, making use of the vertical space. The light steel handrail along the stairs adds visual flow, while the wall underneath cleverly conceals shoe storage. Smart solutions were implemented, such as a storage water heater and a mirrored sliding door to visually expand the space. The strategic use of white and oak colors brightens the interior, enhancing the feeling of spaciousness. A bath replaces a shower for added relaxation. The washer moves to the kitchen, maximizing space efficiency. Each piece of furniture and fixture has been placed thoughtfully, maximizing the apartment's limited footprint. This apartment is a solution for urban dwellers who want a practical, stylish, and comfortable small space living experience. Don't forget to subscribe and hit the like button. Thank you for watching.
