Hello everybody, welcome. My name is Brooke Morrison for Odyssey. We're joined by Ive.
Welcome. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. And congrats on everything so far. Bang bang,
black hole, insane visuals for sure. And welcome back to California.
Thank you so much. How does it feel to be back?
We really miss California and it's one of my favorite places.
Really? Yes, of course.
What do you love? Food and all the places and shopping also.
And I have so many happy memories here, so I really missed it.
True. Same. I love California. Huge California fan. And you guys have done so much. You've gone
from Eleven to global tours to English releases. I mean, was there any moment in time where you
stepped back and you were like, wow, we've become such a big group globally, worldwide?
We travel to many countries for tours and schedules.
And I feel really happy when I hear our songs playing while we're out.
Yeah. Oh, that's amazing. And with your world tour coming up, I mean, like speaking of all
these shows and everything, you guys have a lot more experience under your belt than you did
before. Do you guys have anything going into this? You know, like what would you say is your biggest
challenge, but also your biggest goal in these newer live shows?
Our goal is to show a better and more confident version than the last four
and to really enjoy every country we visit. I love that so much. And your discography has
always shown a lot of balance between confidence and vulnerability. How intentional is that
contrast when choosing songs that you guys put out? We don't try to create contrast on purpose.
I think when the lyrics are honest, confidence comes out naturally and we can express ourselves
in a bold, real way. Nice. OK. And so we got Revive Plus, right? That is your new project,
your second full-length album. Congratulations on that as well. Thank you so much. Of course.
It includes a solid slate of solo songs. What made you guys want to focus on solo work this
time around? So since this is our second full album, we really wanted to show each member's
own music style. So we worked on it. What kind of conversations did you guys have as a group
about the message behind this album? We wanted to show a new side of Vibe, just like our album
Revive Plus. So from hair, makeup, styling to album design, we talk a lot about it.
Nice. When you look back now, is there anything that you guys would have done
differently or does it feel like a perfect snapshot of that moment in time?
There might be something I wish were different, but we gave our best in every moment.
I think it's the best we could do. I love that so much. And each of you guys have grown so much
individually as well. We see it all the time. Fans can see it. Fans love it. How do you make
sure that Ives still feels cohesive while showcasing each of you guys individually?
Yeah, we truly all have different personalities, but we try to share one message from our music.
And if each member had to describe Ives' identity in 2026 with one word, what would it be and why?
Well, I chose the word Revive because it's the title for our second full album.
And also, I hope this year could be a year that we can really revive.
Nice. Love that.
Me too, revive. With our second full album, I feel like we've opened a whole new chapter for Ives.
For me, number two, we released our second full album and we're also starting our second world
tour.
Nice. Yep. Anyone else?
For me, I will choose youth.
Okay, youth.
Yes, I love the word youth and I feel like Ives represents everyone's youth.
I chose a new beginning.
New beginning.
Yes, because we want to show a fresh and different woman ourselves. So I chose that.
Love that.
In my case, the special. No matter how many times you see us,
we always want to show a special side of us.
Love it so much. And going back to your English releases,
you know, we have Supernova Love, which everybody loved all night as well. Huge tracks.
What did you guys learn from working with artists like Sweetie and David Guetta?
I was already a big fan of them and I really respect how they work
and add so much depth to our music. So it was really great memories.
Nice. You guys have achieved a lot so far, both critical acclaim and chart success.
What do you think matters more to you now? Is it impact, numbers or longevity?
Our goal is to share our message with as many people as possible.
We want to enjoy the process along the way.
Nice. How do you guys personally describe success at this point in your career?
It's hard to answer, definitely. But yeah, for me, I think success means being able to
make the music that I want to do.
True. Yeah.
Yeah. I mean, that means a lot. Not everybody can do that. That's a huge deal.
That's true.
And the word empathy, which you guys have highlighted in a previous era. I mean,
that's a pretty strong concept and a big, meaningful word, you know, to be empathetic.
But what have your fans taught you about the word empathy?
I learned that feelings can be shared even by just looking at people near each other.
I am happy that we can contact with our fans and share energy together.
I love it. I mean, speaking of fans, is there a fan interaction
recently that has, you know, shown you a little bit more of what your impact has been on them?
I feel happy when fans like the things I like and follow my styles, like fashion or my taste.
Nice. I love that. So when we think of Ive songs, you guys have like a pretty strong discography
now. Which of the song do you think deserves more attention than it actually got in real life?
Well, it's a hard question again. But I think Off the Record deserves better.
Okay. Why do you think that?
Because we have a lot of great b-side songs, but like we've never tried like soft songs as title.
Yeah, true.
But yeah, it deserves better. It's a great song.
Okay. Yeah, I feel that it deserves better. Speaking of all your music too, I mean,
like anything coming up? Is there anything you can hint about what we haven't seen yet?
Very short. Nielsen.
Okay. All right. I got it. I love the short answers too. More stuff is on the way. That's
all we got to know. What's something that you guys haven't shown fans yet,
but you're excited to reveal in the next chapter?
Something pure and bright and fresh moments we want to show for our fans.
Love to see it. And thinking about your legacy, I mean, what is something that you hope your
fans take away after all this time?
I want us to be a group that wanna remember for a long, long time.
Yeah.
We try to give hope and comfort through our music. So I hope people feel stronger, listen to it.
Amazing. Is there anything else you guys want fans to know about
the tour and about anything else that's happening with IVE right now?
Since we started our second world tour, I want IVEs all over the world to come
over to our concert and enjoy with us. And the people who are not IVE yet,
I want them to come and enjoy.
Absolutely. We all got to come out and enjoy.
Thank you guys so much. I appreciate your time.
Thank you so much.
