Hi there, hope you're well. Before we jump into the video, I want to do a bit of real talk. So
about a year and a half ago, we were shifting apartments and I did a massive vanity declutter
where I gave away more than half the makeup that I owned. That kind of shifted things in my head
and I realized that a lot of what I owned, I wasn't even using it. And I'm not talking about
PR packages, I'm talking about makeup which I bought with my own money. After that declutter
happened, I started rethinking about how I approach makeup in general. And since then,
I've become a lot more selective, especially about the things that I'm buying. I still try
some of the new launches because that's just part of what I do, but I don't hold makeup the way I
used to and I don't buy things just for the sake of it. Honestly, over time, my preferences also
changed. I started building my luxury makeup collection and I realized that I do genuinely
enjoy the whole experience of using certain products a lot more. Having said all of that,
I'm not saying that everything luxury is worth the investment because I have definitely used
some luxury products which did not work at all for me. But the products that I am showing you
today have earned a permanent place in my vanity. These are the products that I keep going back to,
these are the products that I will keep repurchasing. I'm starting with base because
this is where I see the biggest difference. This is the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
and I did not try it for the longest time because I was hunting for the perfect shade, my perfect
shade. Once I found my match and tried it, I completely understood why this is one of the
most recommended foundations ever. The first thing you notice with this foundation is how lightweight
it feels. You genuinely cannot feel it on the skin while you're blending it. It completely melts in
and blends so smoothly on the skin. It literally gives you that undetectable base finish where your
skin looks like skin, but better. The coverage is buildable and it lasts pretty well on the skin.
I actually used this foundation today and I've had this makeup on for a good four to five hours.
I have not touched up my base and it still looks really nice and smooth. Even the Giorgio Armani
Luminous Silk Concealer works in a similar way, but it has more coverage obviously because it is
a concealer. The formula again is very light, it blends seamlessly and looks very natural on the
skin. You will never experience cakey base makeup with this combo. I'm such a fangirl of this combo,
I've been using it non-stop since I got it. I have never been into heavy contouring, but whenever I
want a bit of depth or whenever I'm doing a full face of makeup, I reach for the Fenty Beauty
Contour Stick. What I like about this is how seamlessly it blends into the skin. It adds depth
but doesn't leave those harsh lines or patches which is so important for me. You know what's a sign
of bad contouring? Whenever a person turns their face and you can see like muddy patches over here
and I do see a lot of people doing that. I love the shade for my skin tone as well, it's neither
too light nor too dark, it never looks muddy and it's also pretty lightweight, it's not thick or
heavy. Moving on, I use two powders but for very different reasons. This is the Huda Beauty Easy
Bake Loose Powder in Cherry Blossom and this is what I use to set my entire face. My skin is dry
and although it is a matte powder, it just smooths everything out beautifully and looks amazing once
you melt it with a setting spray. I never get that powdery look on my face after I use this. I've
actually repurchased this powder quite a few times over the years and no matter how many other powders
I use, this is one powder which is always there in my vanity. The second one is Charlotte Tilbury
Airbrush Flawless Finish. I also have an empty right here of the same powder. Now this I use
as a finishing powder after I'm done with all my makeup. It adds extra smoothness on the areas
where you apply it and I especially love it under my eyes because that's where creasing happens a
lot. It just smooths everything over really well without looking too heavy. These two together work
so well for me. Now most people don't talk about this step much but brows are actually super
important for me. It's one of those steps that I never skip. Even if I'm not wearing a foundation
or concealer, I always do my brows, mascara and lips. Brows make a lot of difference to your look
and I always pay attention to what product I'm using on my brows and this is the one that I keep
going back to. This benefits precisely my brow. I have been using this for over 4-5 years now.
It is precise, it is pigmented, it is creamy and very easy to work with. It also does not make my
brows look too heavy. Of course there is a technique and play there as well but my experience of using
this brow product has always been very smooth. After doing my brows, I use a brow gel and this
step has actually been a game changer for me. I've actually tried quite a few brow gels and a lot
of them can feel heavy or sticky. Now this one from NARS does the job really well without feeling that
heavy. Whenever I use this, I never feel like there's something sitting on top of my brows and
trust me, you can feel like that with a lot of brow gels out there. It is long lasting but it is
not 100% waterproof because the formula is light. It is water resistant though. It's one of those
brow gels which I know I will repurchase once it gets over. If you've been following me here and on
Instagram, you would know how much I loved eye makeup. I had this obsession for eyeshadow palettes.
I used to buy so many eyeshadow palettes but then over a period of time, things changed, makeup became
more minimal and a lot of brands even discontinued eyeshadow palettes. After things changed, my routine
also changed and now I use simpler products. This is the Giorgio Armani Eye Tint and this particular
shade, Cashew, is one of my most used eyeshadows at the moment. It's a beautiful product. It blends
so well on the eyelids and gives a very smooth finish. These tints are super fast and beginner
friendly. You can easily create a beautiful two-minute eye look just using these tints. I have
four shades from this range and I just find these so easy and quick to work with. They are also very
long lasting. You don't need a concealer or a primer on your eyelid before using these. You can
just directly apply it on your bare eyelid and you'll be good to go. The color payoff is that good.
Although there are many more mascaras which I love, this is the one that I reach for the most
whenever I'm doing natural makeup and that's the kind of makeup that I do the most as well.
The best thing about this mascara is that it does not clump. I love the wand of this mascara. It
curls the eyelashes really well and gives a beautiful fluttery wispy effect. It just makes
my eyelashes look naturally pretty because it separates the eyelashes really well. I've tried
quite a few blush formulas over the years and this is the one that I keep going back to. I love how
easily it blends into the skin and the color payoff is perfect. This is one of my favorite shades. It's
called Strawberry Cream. I've used this blush for so many events and makeup looks. It is very long
lasting. It's also a buildable blush but it does not look patchy or feel heavy on the skin. I can
never have anything patchy on my skin. That's just not how I do makeup and this works beautifully
for me. Although I do have some highlighter on my skin, I did use this blush today and it looks so
pretty. This is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and over the years I have bought so many of
these bottles. It just works for me. Once I use this setting spray, I don't have to worry about
my makeup moving at all. It locks everything in without changing the finish of the makeup that
you've done. This is my go-to spray whenever I'm going for a night out or when I know that I'm
gonna be out and about for a long time. It's definitely one of the best. So this is pretty
much what my makeup looks like right now or at least a big part of it. I haven't included any
lip products here because for me that's a separate category altogether. I will do another video which
will focus just on lip products. If you want to see more of how these products look in different
lighting and in day-to-day use, then I keep sharing those on my Instagram. I'm gonna end this video
right here. I'll see you in the next one.
