Hello, Kaiteki Art.
This time, I'd like to create an artwork with a sense of transparency using items available at Seria and art supplies such as acrylic paints.
First, I'll use this Celia photo frame.
A thick wooden frame with two glass panels.
Before drawing on the glass part, wipe it with dish soap and then clean it with an alcohol wipe to remove any oils.
I've come up with a carnation design perfectly suited for Mother's Day.
Since I want to create a sketch with a sense of depth, I'll use the Pebaio Bitoru Ayurainer.
This liner was also used in the previous artwork's watercolor painting; it's a water-based acrylic paint that allows for easy drawing of plump, soft lines.
You can erase the mark by wiping it off while it's still wet, if it fails.
Since this paint is acrylic, it can be used on glass and plastic as well, so I find it very convenient.
The color being used is rich gold.
The materials I used are listed in the description; please check them if you're interested.
Since I can draw this liner quite thin, I tried sketching a more detailed pattern.
There were some parts that were too detailed, so I kept adjusting the design to prevent them from becoming too cluttered.
I think line drawings are easier to create when they have more curves.
Once you get used to it, you can draw lines steadily.
I find it easier to draw curves or fine lines than straight lines.
Therefore, I think it's easier to draw patterns with more curves and no long straight lines.
Once the nose is drawn, I'll move on to drawing the ribbon in the background.
Since I thought it would be nice to have a curve in the background as a design element,
I arranged the curves with the image of a ribbon dancing in the air.
It would look something like this if I could draw a three-dimensional line drawing in gold.
It has a plump, glossy line.
Next, I'll proceed with coloring using acrylic paint and Celia's items.
These are the items used for coloring.
First, this one: the non-wipe top coat for gel nails.
This is a clear type.
Then, since the metallic top coat was also available there, I decided to buy it.
It has a color tone called "Lame Aurora."
It contains cute glitter like this.
I would like to try using this towards the second half as well.
I also bought the paper palette I found in the nail supplies section.
It's a compact size, containing 30 pieces.
Then, I'll use toothpicks instead of a brush.
Now, let's mix gel nail polish with acrylic paint.
Acrylic paint doesn't mix well if overmixed, so I'll mix just a tiny bit.
Not recommended by the manufacturer; use at your own risk.
The color with a transparent appearance looked slightly grainy with pigment particles.
I thought it would be fine as long as I mix it well, so I'll go ahead and use it.
First, use these three colors to color the petals of the carnation.
Apply the liner gradually, a small amount at a time, using the tip of a cotton swab.
Place them in the order of yellow, pink, and red, and gradually blend them, softening the boundaries between the colors.
Cure by exposing to UV light.
It hardened properly, like this.
I'll add a slightly darker shade of pink and continue painting the next flower.
After placing each color, blend them thoroughly with a toothpick.
because if you place too many colors of gel, they'll overflow and fill in the line art
Gradually pick up a small amount of gel on the tip of the orangewood stick and apply it, adjusting the amount as you go.
When you gently move the bamboo skewer as if drawing a slight line, the blended areas will resemble a marbled pattern.
I'll paint it skillfully, making good use of that pattern.
The second flower has been painted, so it will now harden.
Because I like looking at stained glass and other glass crafts
This time, I tried to recreate the aesthetic of glasswork using paint and gel nail polish.
I think it would be cute to carefully color each area of the line art with distinct colors.
This time, I'll apply the paint using a gradient.
This painting technique is quite time-consuming, though.
I tried this because it results in drawings with a sense of depth and interesting color variations.
Once the petal areas are colored, it will look like this.
Next, I'll color the leaves.
She mixed green and yellow, then added a touch of red.
You get a sophisticated, deep green like this.
Then there's a bluish hue with a slight greenish tint
I prepared a rather yellowish lime green.
I've carefully chosen colors to give a slightly muted tone throughout, creating a more subdued and refined color scheme.
When painting with gradient effects using colors of the same hue
If the colors are placed too close to each other, they may blend completely, resulting in little noticeable change in color.
I painted while carefully considering the placement of colors, making sure they weren't too close to each other.
I think it would have looked better if I had applied the paint more roughly and loosely.
It would look like this if the leaf part got wet.
Finally, paint the ribbon in the background.
Up until a moment ago, I was using this clear top coat here.
From here on, I will use a non-wipe lamé top coat.
I made the ribbon's color a slightly dull yellow.
The mica is quite fine, giving a subtle, understated shimmer.
I think it looks dazzling and vibrant when it sparkles and reflects.
It sparkles when tilted like this.
After wiping the glass clean, place one protective glass sheet on top.
It looks like this when placed in the frame.
I think it's fine even without a background, as clear as glass.
For easier color perception and better shadow visibility, I pasted a white backing board behind it.
I think this turned out to be a cute piece with its puffy golden line and transparent, lively color.
This time, I tried creating a cute carnation artwork using Celia's items and art supplies.
Thank you for watching until the end. Let's meet again in the next video.
