Although hair clippers have become ubiquitous in all barbershops and salons the world over, there is still a romantic edge to traditional scissor cuts. We would never seek to do away with their electricity powered cousins, but we think shears deserve their day in the sun this summer. Here are seven of our favorite tasteful trims. Just as how you would need different tools for different occasions, you also need different pairs of professional hairdressing scissors depending on the type of haircut. Not all hairdressing tools are the same. They are designed with different materials and features to help you achieve the desired hairstyle with professional results every single time. Let’s check out the different types of scissors that we offer for popular haircutting techniques!
THINNING AND TEXTURISING
As a hairdresser, you will probably encounter a lot of clients with thick and coarse hair that request to thin and texturise their hair. Using your normal tool to cut voluminous hair is a no-go. You’ll need professional hairdressing thinners that are specifically designed for texturising.
Thinner scissors usually have teeth or notches on one side, while the other side is a smooth blade. Using thinners ensure that there is less damage for the hair compared to using razors to thin out the hair. We offer a wide range of thinning and texturizing scissors which are designed to give you a clean and precise haircut every time thanks to the premium grade steel.
Well, that's what I want to get that only if you use it for me, that way, uh, that way, uh,
it doesn't get copyrighted and I can have some music in the background or something.
But these guys like it organic, so it's just real, like...
Anything that's just all made from the ground up?
It's the best.
Plus, uh, you want... I guess it connects to the... starts in the... or whatever...
So, like, you can get signal anywhere.
Yeah, you can be in the middle of nowhere.
That's pretty legit, though.
Yeah.
He's kind of... he connected it to the satellites and the starts in there, or whatever it is.
Uh-huh.
Space, whatever he has.
I think it's nuts.
And the phone's only 200 bucks.
The reason why he published that is he wants everyone to convert.
Yeah.
And he owns the Wi-Fi in the booth, so it's like...
Oh, yeah, that's just...
You make it cheap for them to get involved, and then once they're so wrapped up in your stuff,
they have no other option.
Nope.
Not a good...
Nope.
That's not...
No, that's just business.
You gotta know how to...
Even, like, when I started, you know, started out, and I knew how to...
Look, I ain't got these prices out of my house.
I'm barely back up to, you know, the price I got four years ago.
But it doesn't need to be... it's perfect now.
Oh, yeah.
About a week.
Nice.
Yeah, it was legit.
Oh, yeah.
Thursday through Wednesday.
She just got married, and they just got back from Hawaii on their honeymoon,
so they were in a good mood.
Yeah, no, they got married down in Texas,
but then they just went on their honeymoon now.
Oh, that's legit.
They went to an Astros game.
That's a really cool stadium.
You guys, I use this, so it just comes out real clean.
It's just an electric razor.
This isn't a razor blade.
The razor blade will mean that I can't shave his head with a straight blade on the side.
But for all of my, like, hardcore comb-overs or anything short,
I go with the electric razor.
Every little detail you can add to the haircut makes the haircut better.
The devil's in the details.
The more details you add, the truer it gets.
It's a wrap.
Guys, look how quick I do my haircuts.
I don't try to go quick.
It's just that I've done too many of them.
Just the soft part.
**** you, guys.
Yep.
It's more hard.
It's like a quarter-inch line.
Yeah, exactly.
Goddamn.
You're like, oh, I said I'd take it a quarter-inch off the top.
You're like, I'm getting off the line.
------- Nile River.
It's like ******* Nike.
That soft part has changed the game when it comes to combing over.
Because it looks fussy.
It separates it.
And it's not, like, crazy.
Yeah, it's not over the top.
It's just easy.
Yeah.
Yeah, it does.
I work in sales and marketing.
Yeah, so I work for a solar rack manufacturer.
We make all of the hardware to mount solar panels on roofs.
And kind of what I do in that is, like, our sales team will find a customer.
They'll get them sold on our product and using it.
And once the customer is using it, as our programs guy, I will take our new customers on.
And I'll make sure that they're having a good experience.
I put programs in front of them that makes their experience using us better.
Saves them money, like doing construction drawings or training for their guys.
A lot of stuff like that.
So I just coordinate and set all of that up with them.
Which is a way to cut costs on their end without cutting straight costs on product.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Exactly.
Oh, I love it, dude.
So actually, hold me in mind.
Chris that comes in here, he became an intern there.
Oh, I know Chris.
Yeah.
He became an intern there.
Shout out, Chris.
And he got hired on.
And as soon as he got hired on, he's like, dude, I'm going to bring you along with me.
And when that internship came up again, I got it.
And within three months, they put me on a full-time contract.
I've been doing it for a little over a year now.
That's great.
Yeah, I love it.
Wait, is that where you work?
Yep.
Am I working at the same spot?
Just right down.
Oh, we're in downtown?
Oh, that's cool for a little.
Oh, dude, it's legit.
I saw some of those lofts that they have around there.
And they're pretty sick.
Oh, yeah.
Like the way they're set up on the inside and everything.
I was like, damn.
She actually, she moved downtown.
I'm helping her move into lofts.
And it's one of those, like the whole bottom section is like that.
Right around the Albuquerque food court in downtown, I think I'm talking about.
That's sick.
Damn.
Yeah, so it's like a bunch of shops and restaurants downstairs.
And then you go up the elevator and it's all their apartments.
It's legit.
Damn, that's fire, dude.
What is the building called?
I don't remember.
I don't know.
Yeah, that's sick.
Tomorrow's going to be the first time I even go, so.
Yeah.
She just sent me pictures with very tall eyes.
It looks legit.
And how much was that one?
It's one of those spots.
How many square feet do you think it is?
It's not huge.
It's like a little one bedroom apartment.
Probably about 800 square foot.
A thousand, maybe.
It's not huge.
Oh, wait, is she renting it or buying it?
I'm just reviewing it.
Oh, I see what you're saying.
Yeah, so I think it's like, it's right around $1,200 a month.
Alright, let's do it.
It's not bad at all.
Let's do it.
And not in any kind of, I just want to, that way, you know, that's the way it's worth it.
Because I feel like you can never be here.
Oh, never.
People are always going to need someone to live here.
You have a great spot and location like that.
That's going to feel like a dream come true.
Yeah, it's ridiculous right now.
It's a 5.9.
And guys, when you see me break this out, I'm just putting a haircut into a particular, into a formation.
I'm just having it, I'm putting it into perpetual motion.
I'm having to decide where it's supposed to be.
That way, I can do something.
And that something is grabbing me.
It's these sort of webbing shoes.
It's okay to cut it, but when you style it into its formation, and then you can see little hidden things.
And then you're able to, you know, get it, just go above and beyond.
Yeah, I've seen a tutorial on a barber that made a video that was like, oh, you can make over $100,000 a year.
It's like, every barber should be making that.
Yeah.
Let me show you $300,000 a year, huh?
Hell yeah.
$300,000 views on your video talking about making $100,000 a year.
You're a good barber.
Hell yeah.
Yeah, so those guys get where they can make their own schedule and realize they don't want to work.
See how the integrity of you and Chris have it?
You guys are barbers.
You guys are human.
You're $200,000 a year.
But there is no barber that doesn't have integrity.
That thing did make it really go up.
You like it?
Yeah, it is.
