Naomi Osaka vs Diana Shnaider 2026 Rome Round 3 WTA Match Highlights

So smart. So smart. Got under a belt at the US Open in 2018. That's brilliantly done. What a start she's made here. 10 points in a row, by the way. Kurosaka. Stop the bleeding here. It's a game on the board. So the curse is lifted. Magnificent first set from Naomi Osaka. Such an impressive start to the match here. From the former world number one. One set away from reaching the fourth round in Rome. Six games to one in just 24 minutes. Second set. She bounced back. Outstanding. You'd go over that quite a bit. What is the big thing about being a left-hander that can give you that edge? The book, I tried to explain it. One of them is probably going to go on the footstep and be on the tour soon. I understand. Tatiana Maria wants to play long enough so that her and her daughter can play doubles together. That's the dream, I think. Why not? Definitely applauding that one. Kurosaka. Really nicely done by Osaka. Again, showcasing that movement. Oh, my goodness. Sensational from Naomi Osaka. Real frustration for Diana Schneider. Just broken back in this set. But Osaka, it was that response, that first point. Imperious. Naomi Osaka. Absolutely outstanding. One of her best performances of the year. Just unstoppable today. On the clay. That's the Naomi Osaka that we all want to see. An astonishing performance and victory in under an hour. 6'1", 6'2". That was pretty special.
