Hello everybody, welcome back to Ordinary Adventures.
It's our final days aboard the Disney Adventure and somehow we still haven't
seen everything this massive cruise ship has to offer.
There's a full-on Moana stage show that takes place in a pool on the pool deck.
Speaking of Moana, she even has a restaurant on board and we're going to try out the food.
And for the first time ever Duffy and friends are on the Disney Cruise Line
and Kitra is very excited.
Plus on our final night we are having dinner at the most beautiful Apollo
restaurant Disney has ever created.
But does the food live up to the hype?
Come with us on this adventure.
So the sailings on the Disney Adventure are three or four nights
and we decided we're going to come all the way to Singapore.
We may as well go on twice because coming out here for just the three-night cruise
is a bit insane.
So we're about to go in our second cabin which is slightly different
and we just wanted to show you that.
Welcome on board.
Welcome.
So on our last sailing we had an ocean view veranda.
This sailing we actually have a garden viewing veranda.
So let's check it out.
But I think the room is pretty much exactly the same.
It just has a different view so we won't do like a full room tour.
So we did do something kind of silly for this voyage.
We got this Duffy package.
I think it was like a hundred dollars extra.
It comes with some pillowcases and some little souvenirs,
some banners with Duffy and friends on there.
You know that I love myself Duffy.
And the main reason that I wanted this is because our friends did a last cruise.
You get this little Duffy camera to actually print out your photos
and have all these like filters and like frames like Duffy frames.
And they got one and I was so jealous that we like frantically tried to add it to the sailing
and we got one.
They didn't sell out and I'm so excited.
I'm so happy.
This is like the silliest thing.
And we don't normally like splurge for these sort of upgrades but like I had to have it.
The question is what side are you sleeping on?
Oh well this is my side in real life.
So I get Duffy.
Duffy is my favorite of the characters.
You should have Ulu.
I know.
Yeah so it's Duffy and Linabelle.
I do have Ulu over here though.
This is the camera itself and it's really cute.
Like I love the strap.
We'll demonstrate it in a little bit.
But also you get this little Stella Lou thing.
I didn't realize this was part of it.
What is it?
It's just like a little coin purse.
Oh it actually has the DCL logo on there.
Do you see that?
Yeah that's cool.
And what I love about this is it literally is for the adventure.
It says Disney Adventure.
This is a camera made for the Duffy show.
He's wearing like his sailor hat.
I feel like for a hundred dollars it's worth it for this camera alone.
This is going to be a hot commodity and this is going to sell out
and people are going to be like trying to sell this on eBay.
Because look at that.
I just love that it has like the cruise line.
It has all the characters like in their little cruise hats.
So happy.
I love it so much.
It's so silly.
I know.
Okay judge me if you want.
But I love it.
So the thing that I was most excited to see is where exactly we are in Imagination Garden.
Oh we're right by the statue.
Okay so we're not by the stage at all.
Which I was kind of hoping we'd have a view of the stage but we don't.
But it's okay.
Oh my god look at the snow is in the tree over here.
Oh my god and look at all like the gold medallions on this.
I didn't really notice this last time.
We have C3PO and R2D2 right by our room.
Really?
Perfect for us because we're Star Wars fans.
This is nice.
And over in the garden stage they're doing a selfie at sea with Duffy and friends.
Lots of people trying to get their photos with them.
I kind of wish they were doing individual meet and greets
so that we could get some up close and personal time with them.
It's time for our reserved meet and greet with Mickey Mouse.
So we're headed to the Hollywood Spotlight Club to meet the that big cheese himself.
So we got to the Hollywood Spotlight Club and the line to meet Mickey is so long.
Minnie just walked by us and went all the way up to the front where Mickey is doing his meet and greet.
And it literally took her like I want to say like 30 seconds to pass us and get up to Mickey.
I like this hallway.
It makes for such good photos.
Yeah.
Like good Instagram photos.
I mean not when it's crowded like this obviously but it's a vibe in here.
But yeah Mickey's very popular.
He was one of the only characters this sailing that required a reservation.
So of course everyone wants to meet him.
So we decided to leave the line.
Kitscher wants to get some caffeine so we went to TWGT.
This is a legacy brand that we saw all around Singapore.
And again it looks kind of like Harry Potter-esque.
I love their packaging.
They not only serve tea here but they have desserts.
There's macarons.
There's even like some sorbet and ice cream.
Yeah they have a whole sit-down experience where you can basically do like a tea party
where they give you little finger foods and they do a whole tea presentation.
Very bougie.
I think I just want to grab a cup of like iced tea to go.
Because the packaging is just like that Basha coffee.
I think that they're owned by the same company.
So their packaging is really cool.
Their takeaway cup is like this gold color and I think they give you one of those like
sugar sticks.
But the question is what am I going to get because they also have like this huge selection
of teas just like Basha had a huge selection of coffees.
So I don't know what I'm going to get.
So they also have this exclusive tea that you can only find on the Disney Adventure
which I love.
And it's all Beauty and the Beast themed.
There's actually five different ones.
There's a Belle one, a Beast one, and then like a set of three.
And that is really cool.
The packaging even says like Disney Cruise Line on it so you can only get it here.
Let's smell this one.
It smells good.
I'm not a tea guy but I drink this.
Look at that.
They even have a tea with the Merlion on it.
So I thought all the jars on the walls were for decoration but it's actually the tea that
they use to make your teas in the store.
So I decided to get a creme brulee green tea and I gotta say the takeaway cup is massive.
I was not expecting it to be this big.
And just like the Basha coffee, they give you this sugar stick, this crystallized sugar
which I adore.
And they give you this fancy glass straw or it's like a hard plastic.
It's very nice, whatever it is.
Like I said, it's a huge portion and we were standing over there watching the lady make
the tea orders and it's so cool.
They look like little flowers and then she puts them in the hot water and they kind of
bloom open.
That's awesome.
I wish I was more of like a tea enthusiast because I totally get some to go but they're
kind of expensive.
Like the exclusive beauty and the beast one is 42 US dollars.
I'm not even joking when I say this is the best ice cream tea that I've ever had.
It just has a hint of the sweetness because it's creme brulee flavored, I guess.
And then when you add the sugar stick in it, it just makes it even better.
But it still has like a very nice strong green tea flavor.
This is so refreshing.
I was having like a hot flash in here because it's so humid in Singapore that like I've
just been sweating so much.
And this is like hitting the spot.
It's helping me so much.
Listen, I get it.
This place is like kind of a gimmick.
Like, I mean, it's not a gimmick but like they're really trying to get you in here with
the packaging and stuff.
But honestly, I think it's worth it and you should try it at least once especially if
you like tea.
So I just noticed over on display they actually have a Mrs. Potts and Chip from Beauty and
the Beast.
I wonder if you order the Beauty and the Beast tea if you can get it poured in that
teapot.
This morning we're gonna grab breakfast at Pixar Market.
This is the buffet on the ship.
There's two different sides.
We're going to the Pixel side because it's named after our dog, obviously.
And this market is pretty cool.
It has like the red bricks that you see in Emeryville on the walls.
There's all sorts of concept art from the Pixar movies.
I love that.
This restaurant is huge.
The buffet is huge.
I'm already liking the layout and the flow better than Cabana's or Marceline Market.
This looks like there's a lot to choose from.
I like that the art on the wall isn't just celebrating the big Pixar films.
They have some of the shorts as well, like the blue umbrella.
And one of my favorites too, Presto, which is about that little bunny and his magician.
I also like that the buffet on this ship isn't one long hallway kind of like it is on the
Wish Class ship.
Here it's like two different walkways, each with their own station.
The carpet in the dining room is even themed as well.
So at this buffet, you actually get to serve yourself, which I feel like Disney Cruise
is kind of going away from on some of their other ships.
But I went pretty basic.
It is Churro Mickey Waffle Day, so you know we had to get those.
And then I saw that they had fresh mango.
Had to get those.
And then, of course, the hash brown.
I forgot the hash brown.
The guy asked me, he was like, how many do you want?
And I just said one.
I should have said two.
I'm sorry.
So hot take.
The Churro Mickey Waffles on this ship are not quite the same as back over in America.
They're not crispy enough.
They're a little soft.
And I feel like they don't coat them in enough cinnamon sugar.
Maybe we got a bad batch.
Maybe we got here too late in the morning to get like the good ones.
They're not bad by any means.
I still would recommend trying them.
So we have a little bit of time to kill before our mustard drill.
So we're gonna go take advantage of the infinity pool.
You beat us here.
I know.
I've been here for like the last hour.
Have you been seeing the coaster?
It's been cycling like crazy.
They've been sending like four or five trains at a time.
It's going.
This is a great spot to see it.
It's getting a little chilly in the infinity pool.
So we decided to go to hot tubs in the Toy Story area.
Yeah, this might be a huge mistake.
Why?
Because it's still humid out.
So that's true.
We wanted to test them out over a sign.
There are four hot tubs in this area alone.
Which makes me happy.
It's randomly sussed it.
We've seen karaoke on a Disney cruise before, but we've never seen karaoke rooms.
This ship has a bunch of themed karaoke rooms and our friends booked it out.
So we're gonna go check it out.
Whoa.
Okay.
Who's gonna sing?
Wow, this is cool.
It's dark in here.
It feels like a club.
They got the popcorn in the waters.
Is it all Disney?
They have a lot of Disney songs.
The song in particular I was looking for is in here.
But they have Hannah Montana.
Oh heck yeah.
So unfortunately we had to leave karaoke rather abruptly because
we have a meet and greet with Shelly Mae that conflicted with the times.
Yeah, this was one of the most popular ones.
Yeah, this was a really hard meet and greet to get so we had to go see her.
I love your little shell necklace.
It's adorable.
I've got you on my bag over here with your shell.
So cute.
Okay, so we just got to meet Shelly Mae.
She's so adorable.
Although I will say I wish she was wearing like her cute little outfit from the show
or like her sailor hat or something.
She's just a naked little bear.
But I was so excited to meet her.
But I will say this reservation system that they're doing right now, I understand it.
The demand is high.
But they give you like a little card that says only one photo.
And if you are not on the reservation, you can't meet her.
So we came back to Bewitching Boba because I wanted to try something else here.
And I got one of the yogurt smoothies.
I got the Sunken Treasure Mango Brew.
This has yogurt, oat, popping boba, and blue spirulina.
And obviously mango.
But look at this cool little container it came in.
It actually says Disney Adventure on there, which I like.
Almost looks like a little milk carton or something.
So this tastes like, you know, an orange dreamsicle.
It tastes like that.
But with mango, it's such a nice flavor.
But the most interesting thing about it is that oat boba, they're kind of crunchy.
When they're dry, they taste different.
And then once they soak in the liquid, they get a little bit softer.
The flavor itself of the drink is really, really nice.
And I'd definitely get this one again.
I think it's like a jelly on the outside and then the oat is on the inside.
To me, it almost looks like a vitamin, like a fish oil pill or something.
It's so strange.
We'd like to thank Monarch for sponsoring this portion of today's video.
One thing that gets tricky when you travel a lot like us, or just in general,
is keeping track of a full picture financially.
You've got credit cards, bank accounts, bills, travel spending,
all spread across different places, and they can get annoying pretty fast.
Lately, we've been using Monarch, which pulls everything into one private ad-free dashboard.
It syncs across over 13,000 banks, credit cards, and brokerages.
So you can see all your accounts, spending, net worth,
reoccurring bills, and your debt payoff progress all in one place.
The thing I really love is it also separates your fixed and flexible spending.
So you get to see what you have to pay every month versus
what you're choosing to spend money on every month.
It gives me a better sense of what's actually going on without needing some giant spreadsheet.
I'm not good with spreadsheets, so this is good for me.
And it doesn't just dump all the data on you.
Monarch gives you useful insights based on your real financial info.
A lot of people have subscriptions they forget about.
I know I do.
Monarch can actually make it easier to notice reoccurring charges piling up
so you can decide what's actually worth keeping.
So if you want a better handle on your money without making it your full-time job,

Thanks to Monarch, and now back to our adventure.
So our friends Brian and Kerry are staying in a suite this time.
They're in deck 11, room 880 on the back of the ship.
Oh, welcome to my crib.
This is a Moana-themed room.
I think it's a one-bedroom concierge suite.
And, um...
This is nice.
Look at that.
You got, like, shelves and stuff.
It is stapled down.
You can't steal it.
I tried.
We have our huge walk-in closet.
And this is actually bigger than Adrian's stateroom.
That is true.
By the way, you have your own shelf for your chipmunk.
Yeah.
This is a much softer bed than you'll find in the normie rooms.
I mean, it already looks so much better.
Yeah.
Over here, you have, like, a whole makeup thing.
With the Dyson, you gotta have that.
Ah, geez.
Wow.
Wait, how did you get in here?
I'm staying in here now.
Sorry.
Wow, you got a kitchenette?
Yeah.
This room is so nice.
They stock the fridge, too, with soda and water.
Oh, my gosh.
And they refill it, I think.
You got Pua and Heihei.
Yep.
Pua and Heihei, so this is Moana themed, obviously.
Wow.
Oh, look at this couch.
Look at the carpet.
There's Maui smoking the carpet, I think.
Seems like it.
Yeah.
Got two TVs.
Oh, my gosh.
One was not enough.
This one is huge, though.
And I like the frame around it, too.
And then this is the bathroom, which, I'm not even kidding, is bigger than my bathroom at home.
Wow.
Actually, the shower is pretty big, too.
Wow.
Look at those expensive lotions.
Yeah.
That's an expensive brand.
It is.
You know it's expensive because you can't pronounce it.
Look, the bathroom, the toilet has, like, this weird carrier in there.
Wow.
Okay, let's go outside.
Yeah, that's the best part.
Oh, my God.
Look at that view of Marine Bay Sands.
Yeah, I saw it on the interweb.
Did you really?
No, you didn't.
This is your deck.
Yeah, it's our private deck.
Oh, my God.
Oh, the wind here is insane.
I'm in.
A bartender just came by.
It's great.
Yeah.
Very windy, but it's a little windy, so I don't think you can hear this audio,
but look at Brian and Carrie's patio.
It is massive.
It looks like it should be part of the ship and not their patio.
Yeah, it's the biggest balcony that I've ever seen.
They have their own hot tub.
What an incredible view.
I have never been more jealous of a room in my life.
They can watch the Moana show from their hot tub.
Oh, my God.
It's so nice.
Wow.
And they offered us their bottle of champagne, so thanks, guys.
Cheers.
So it's early in the morning.
We've come to the aft of the ship to Wayfinder Bay.
During the daytime, they use this area as a pool, but sometimes they have a Moana show,
and that's what we're here to see this morning.
Say, am I right?
And it's there that we catch up on all this I can't remember, never really knowing why.
See the light in the sky as this evening calls me.
He always has time for his fans.
I am not your fan.
I'm here because you stole the heart of Tap-Tee-Tee.
What can I say except, oh, tap-tap.
Oh, tap-tap.
But first, we get my book.
Then we save the world.
Deal?
Deal.
But as soon as they set sail, they were chased by others seeking the heart.
Now we came up with an ingenious, shiny, glittery cave.
And just like me, it is covered in sparkling treasure.
Sparkle, sparkle, sparkle.
I'm not selling it.
This is stupid.
I'm just going to grab the book.
My island is dying.
And I can't do this without your help.
Straight on to Zika.
Mommy, I'm sorry.
I told you to turn back.
Without my book, I'm nothing.
We can fix it.
We can't give up.
The ocean chose me.
It chose wrong.
So that show was basically like a 15-minute abbreviated version of Moana, the first movie.
And they touched all the like key moments and the best songs.
It was kind of fun to see them incorporate the pool into it as well.
I wish they had kind of like dived into like the-
Yeah, that would have been cool.
But I surprisingly enjoyed it.
I will say that this area- I mean, this ship wasn't built for Disney.
And this area was definitely not built for a show.
Because like people were just like walking in front of you.
Everyone was kind of sitting in these seats.
And I get it.
There's not enough seats here to accommodate everyone.
So as soon as the show started, people just started standing in front of us.
Right here.
So Peter got up and was able to film the show that way.
Originally, he was just going to sit in his seat and film it.
So my view for the entire show was just the back side of people.
But I mean, I got the gist of it.
The actress playing Moana has a beautiful voice.
And that's like the greatest hits.
Moana is one of our favorite Disney movies.
We love the music of that movie.
So it was- it's always great to hear it.
Yeah, and it's good to see Moana gets a spot on this ship.
Yes, give Moana some love.
She even has like a statue.
Yeah.
Maui has a statue.
Yeah, love it.
So since we're in the area, we decided to stop by the Wayfinder Bar
and grab ourselves a few drinks.
I got the Montanui Limeade.
This has Bacardi lime and condensed milk.
And I wasn't expecting it to be like a blended drink.
It looks so ridiculously good right now.
Look at that.
Yeah, I think a lot of the drinks at this bar are blended,
which makes sense because if you're out in the sun,
you want a blended drink over here.
Oh my good lord.
I feel like you could add condensed milk to anything
and it makes it like 10 times better.
This might be my new favorite drink on the ship.
It's nice and cold.
It's kind of like frothy on the top.
It almost feels like there's like,
you know, when you go to Starbucks and you get the cold foam,
it kind of feels like there's a layer of cold foam on top.
I think from that condensed milk, this is absolute perfection.
Five out of five.
I'm already going to say an Ordinary Adventure Star,
but we'll let Peter try.
Yeah, I like this quite a bit.
It's like a pina colada, but with lime.
So it's like all the joys of pina colada and a margarita mixed into one.
And I love myself a blended drink.
I'll give us a five out of five.
Ordinary Adventure Star.
Yes.
I like the creaminess.
I know.
The condensed milk is such a nice touch.
So I actually decided to get myself a Zero Proof drink.
There is a Zero Proof menu and a mocktail menu at each bar.
I don't know what the difference is.
I think Zero Proof might have like Zero Proof alcohol,
where mocktails don't have any fake alcohol.
Anyways, what I got was the Tecá Colada.
This has liras, dark cane, lychee, coconut, pineapple, and ube,
which explains why this has like a little purple to it.
Ooh, I don't know if it's just like so hot out
that the frozen drink is like giving me life.
I know it's so hot.
But this is perfect.
It's like not too sweet.
I usually like myself a more like sweet pina colada, but this is good.
Today for lunch, we're going to Grandma Tala's Kitchen.
This is in the Imagination Garden.
It's included in your price of cruise and is themed to Moana.
And it looks fantastic in here.
They really captured the Polynesian vibes.
They even have a piece of the ocean hanging on the wall there
alongside some of the costumes from the quote-unquote film.
But yeah, this is beautiful.
I really love the theming in here.
And here it's like Polynesian food.
You can build your own bowl or platter.
They have like black pepper beef,
Hainanese chicken, huli huli chicken, buttermilk fried chicken.
They have tofu, soy glazed yams.
You can choose your choice of rice from coconut rice or chicken rice.
They got macaroni salad, pickled radish, kimchi, stir-fried Chinese broccoli.
There's like so much here.
We both got a bunch of it and our food looks amazing.
So I decided to get a coconut rice bowl and I literally asked for almost everything on top.
You know what would have been cool?
If they actually had Hawaiian barbecue like plate lunches in here.
That's kind of what I thought it was going to be,
but it's like a good mixture of different stuff.
So we keep trying all the different quick service restaurants
and every single time I'm like, is this one my favorite?
This one is no exception.
Super delicious flavors.
Like I said, I got a little bit of everything.
I think my favorite is the tofu.
So if we come back here, I'm probably just going to get all tofu.
What I'm curious about is the chicken tenders and the fried chicken
because I heard the fried chicken was actually really good here.
So they offer two different types of chicken here.
They got chicken tenders and they got fried chicken.
The chicken tenders do not look like any chicken tenders I've ever seen at Disney.
I'm not sure how they're breaded, but they're different.
You can get the normal chicken tenders that you love from Disney Cruise Line
at the buffet though, so don't worry.
Let's start off with the buttermilk fried chicken.
It's a little piece, but let's see how it tastes.
So the fried chicken's okay.
I think the highlight here is the breading.
It's very crisp while the chicken is like soft and tender.
Okay, so the thing I'm most curious about is the chicken tenders right here.
There's a bunch of sauces that you can get.
I got the yuzu ranch.
Yeah, our friend said this was really good, so.
Yuzu's kind of like a lemon flavor.
These chicken tenders are so much better than the normal Disney chicken tenders.
They feel like they were like handmade, if that makes sense.
Like they weren't just like pulled out of a frozen bag.
The outside is like just thinly breaded.
It's not like thick or crispy, but the inside, the chicken's like so tender.
It like breaks apart almost like, have you ever had like fish sticks?
Yeah.
It's like that.
Okay, but how's the ranch?
The ranch is so good.
It just has a little bit of like a lemon yuzu taste to it.
Five out of five.
I also wanted to point out these plates.
They're so well themed to Moana.
There's also something weird I wanted to mention.
None of these quick serve restaurants in the garden or the reef have drinks.
So if you want a drink, you actually have to go outside to the fountains
and grab yourself something.
It's just kind of a little bit odd.
Kind of wish they had like a drink station inside here as well.
Yeah.
Hopefully they can add it at some point.
So there's also some outdoor seating out here and I was noticing in this beautiful mural
that there's a Pua and a Heihei hidden over here.
And actually in like the wallpaper all around the outside is Pua and Heihei too.
Now we have a meet and greet with Stitch and we're running a little bit late.
So fingers crossed they let us in the line that we don't.
We made it.
Hi Stitch!
Hey, how's it going?
Yay!
Oh, oh, okay.
Yes. Love it.
You have so much energy.
Oh my goodness.
A little dizzy.
We haven't eaten at your restaurant yet.
What should we get?
The Stitch burger.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
All the food.
Okay.
More food.
More and more food.
All the food at the restaurant.
I can't put that on camera.
It's out of the camera.
Sounds delicious.
It's lunchtime.
So we're going to make our way over to Stitch's restaurant.
We got our recommendation from him.
So let's go get some grub.
Okay, so we ran over here to the Ohana Girl, which is Stitch's restaurant.
And I totally forgot that in order to get the quick serve restaurants here,
you have to make a reservation.
And I was trying to make one and it kept saying that it was full.
It was full.
So we were freaking out, but I managed to get one.
So we just came into the restaurant and it's very small in here.
She said that it was going to take 30 minutes to order her food, to get our food.
So we'll see how long it takes.
It is a madhouse in here.
They're throwing up the burgers and chicken on the grill over there.
I love the theming.
There's surfboards on the ceiling.
On the wall, there's some pictures of Lilo and Stitch and the fam.
And there's also some like Hawaiian artifacts on the back wall.
It's very small though.
So it was very hard to get in here and get a seat.
And the menu here is a mix of burgers, hot dogs, and fried chicken.
We've picked three of these items that we're going to try today.
Found a hidden Mickey.
On one of the surfboards.
40 minutes later and we still don't have our food.
No, I'm going to laugh if we finally get our food and it's cold.
How funny would that be?
It does smell really good in here though, so I am excited to try it.
Yeah, everything is fresh and made to order.
But like, I don't know, it's just like a very big backlog.
Oh, our food's ready.
First up, I got the barbecue hui hui pulled pork.
This comes with crispy onion rings, grilled pineapple,
and it comes on a Hawaiian sweet roll.
And you can get either sweet potato fries or regular fries.
I got regular fries.
First inspection, it actually looks pretty good, right?
Yeah, like I said, everything smells really good in here.
Even like the regular cheeseburger smells good.
For a quick start sandwich, this is actually surprisingly good.
The barbecue sauce is nice and sweet.
The pineapple adds to that.
And then the onion gives it a little bit of a crunch.
I've heard bad things about this restaurant.
All our friends ate here and they said it was not a good experience.
So I'm shocked that this is actually pretty decent.
I'd give it like a 3.75 out of 5.
And I'm gonna try the gochujang burger.
This is a grilled angus beef burger,
toasted rioche bun, grilled portobello mushrooms,
red ginger, kimchi, crisp onions, and a gochujang mayonnaise.
And when I saw that this had kimchi in it, you know that I was sold to try it.
It is like oozing out of there and it smells really good.
Those must be the mushrooms right there.
Wow. Okay.
How do I do this without making a mess? I don't know.
Is this the one that Stitch recommended?
He recommended everything.
Oh, okay.
So we waited about 40 minutes before we got our food.
And honestly, I think it was worth it.
Or maybe I'm just really hungry.
Either way, this is so good.
It's not overly spicy.
So if you're scared of that, don't be.
There's so much flavor going on in there.
The only bad part about it is you can tell that it's like a quick service burger.
I just wish the quality of the beef was a little bit better.
But I mean, all the other flavors kind of soak into it
and you can't really taste that it's a bad beef patty.
This is one of the best things that I've had on the cruise so far.
So we also got the 626, which is buttermilk marinated spicy fried chicken
with crisp iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, dill ranch sauce, and a soft sweet potato bun.
This one is named after the man himself.
So I'm expecting it to be good.
I didn't realize that it was spicy fried chicken.
That adds another layer to it.
And you know, I saw that had ranch.
So once again, I knew this was gonna be a must try.
Looks good.
So the quality of this fried chicken is actually really good.
It's cooked to perfection.
It's just a little bit spicy.
It kind of reminds me of like a Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich
or like a Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich.
But the addition of that creamy dill ranch is so good.
This morning, we woke up bright and early not to go get breakfast,
not to go get coffee, not to enjoy the sunrise,
but to see the Duffy State Show, which is an exclusive to this ship.
As you guys know, I'm a huge Duffy and Friends fan.
I brought my headband.
I won't go over in detail who they all are because I've told you before.
But I am so excited and we had to come get like a front row seat to the show.
And I hear this might be the first time that they speak in English.
Yes, what do their voices sound like in English?
I don't know.
I also heard that the new song for this was really cute.
So I can't wait.
I feel like I'm already like tearing up and it hasn't even started yet.
This is bound for people.
I know.
I just feel so at home here.
So at peace.
These people, we get each other, okay?
I'm not just a seagull who carries the mail.
I'm a bird with a talent for telling a tale.
What a beauty.
What does the ocean mean to me?
Ciao, Duffy.
Hi, Gelatoni.
When I paint the ocean, I never think from where to where.
Paint this in the ocean is the one.
Beauty, it smells like the ocean.
Watching the birds playing tap with the tide.
I feel there's a melody forming in the sky.
What does the ocean, what does the ocean, what does the ocean mean to me?
What does the ocean, what does the ocean mean to me?
This is the best show I've ever seen.
I see something.
On the cove in the distance.
I wonder what it is.
Maybe it's something wonderful.
I have an idea.
We should go investigate.
Salut.
Hi, Chelume.
What are you making?
A bracelet out of seashells.
Just listen to the sound it makes.
Your dance reminds me of the waves.
Let's dance with me.
Makes you want to dance along, doesn't it?
Do you think it's a plane?
Do you think it can float?
Maybe it can float.
Do you think it's a drum?
I think it's a boat.
Check the bench for balance by combining all our talents.
We'll create our goal together all the way.
Because working together always wins the dance.
Working together is the day.
That was so much harder than I thought it was going to.
Like, for whatever reason, I thought they were just going to come out and do a little dance.
Maybe wave to the crowd or something.
But there was a whole plot to it.
And I loved that it was in English.
Because it's not like the plot is hard to follow when it's in Japanese.
But I just appreciated being able to understand what they were saying.
And the story was so sweet.
It was about using friendship and all their different skills to build a boat.
And usually Mickey is the captain.
But it was Duffy's first time being the captain.
And he did such a great job.
I saw you.
You were crying.
I did get a little teary-eyed.
But I think that's just because I had the fan blowing in my face.
Sure, sure.
Because it's hot out.
That just made me so happy.
And every single character came out, including Tippy Blue.
Who I've never seen before in real life.
I thought they were trying to erase him out of history.
But he's one of the original Duffy characters.
Like, originally it was literally just Duffy and him.
And then they added all the other characters.
So that really took me by surprise.
He kind of reminded me of Scuttle from The Little Mermaid.
Yeah, and he's a puppet.
Yeah, and it was a puppet.
The song was so cute.
Being able to see all seven of the characters in one place at one time was amazing.
Listen, that just made me so happy.
That's like the reason to book this cruise.
Just kidding.
But for me personally, this was my most anticipated thing to see.
And it lived up to it.
The song was so good.
And I'm going to be on a high the rest of the day because that was just so great.
So we finally made our way into the Duffy and Friends shop.
And my first impression is a lot of the merch seems like the stuff that you can just find
in Tokyo Disney.
It doesn't seem like anything special.
They do have the friendship in the middle of the shop.
That's pretty cool.
There is a section for each of the characters.
So if you want Duffy, they got you covered.
But yeah, a lot of it is just very plain, generic Duffy and Friends merch, which is
great if you don't have access to it or whatever.
But I was hoping for some more specific stuff for the adventure.
So I'm going to keep my eyes peeled.
And anything that I see that says Disney Adventure on it, I'm going to buy.
So of course they have bag charms that you could clip on your bag.
And these are all for the show that we just saw.
Because it says Disney Cruise Line on the tag.
And they're all holding their little props from the show.
But Olu Mel is already sold out.
So the completionist in me can't get all of them.
Duffy fans go hard.
So this is the one t-shirt they have.
It has Duffy on the chest there.
I like the back.
It actually has the friendship, including Tippi Blue.
Also this coffee mug that you know I'm going to have to get with Duffy.
And it has a friendship on the back.
I love that it has Tippi Blue on there.
And then on the inside it says Disney Cruise Line.
Also this bucket hat with all the little characters in their sailor hats, which I love.
Peter, there's Olu for you.
Also found this fan that has the friendship on there.
Oh, that's perfect for this period.
I know because it's so hot.
And this is probably the most coveted thing in the store.
It's this really cute cardigan with all the little characters embroidered on there.
So there's a scavenger hunt on board the Disney Adventure called the Duffy and Friends Discovery
Quest.
You buy this in the gift shop and then you do a scavenger hunt around the ship.
And when you're done, you get a prize.
And guess what the prize is?
It's a little sailor hat to put on your plushy Duffy.
So of course they have some mystery pins and they have like a mystery keychain pack.
And the thing that I'm going to get, which is this Disney Adventure pin that spins with
all the little characters from the show.
You know that I'm a pin collector now.
I'm not sure if you can tell, but it's a bit of a madhouse in here.
People want their Duffy and Friends merch and stuff is already selling it.
She found a little crab.
She found a chili crab.
The display windows for that store are giving me serious 90s Disney store vibes with like
the characters on different scenarios.
So Stella Lou, Gelatoni, and Duffy just came out.
And I honestly kind of love that they're doing this because it's so hard to get a meet and
greet time.
And I love that Disney realized that and they were like, you know what?
What can we do for all the Duffy fans so they're not upset that they don't get to meet them?
And this is honestly better because before getting a reservation to meet them, it was
literally just Duffy and Shelly Maid.
Now you never know who's going to show up.
It's three of them.
It's awesome.
They literally come out every 30 minutes until like 2 p.m.
So practically all day.
I wanted to show off the little Duffy camera that I got in our stateroom package.
And I actually wanted to use it to get selfies with Duffy and the gang on the stage.
And what's cool about this is not only that it's cute and it looks like Duffy, but it
actually prints out photos, like little black and white photos on paper.
And there's a bunch of different filters and stuff.
All...
Oops, I accidentally took a photo.
Whoops.
So what I love about this is there's all these different filters.
Oops, that's my face.
So what I love about this is there's all these different filters for the Duffy characters.
It's like a photo frame.
Yeah, little frames that you can put around your photos.
I love that one.
But it's just so fun.
Look, there's even Mickey and Minnie and there's the Disney Adventure cruise ship.
Look at a porthole.
Chippendale.
Disney Adventure, please welcome onto the stage Olamelle and Duffy.
We also have Charlize Theron.
Dream Team.
Oh my god, all the best ones.
Look at that.
Look how good that is.
That is great.
You're gonna take a selfie?
Yeah, this is what we're doing.
We're doing selfies here.
Oh, selfie right here.
I got it.
It's so bad that it's actually kind of good.
So good, I love it.
Totally worth the money.
We love you, Olu.
Duffy.
Just me and this little girl with our cameras taking photos of Duffy out here.
Oh my god.
Olu's making a cameo too.
Oh my god, it's our two favorites.
So I know that this ship is very different than all the other DCL ships
and it has its flaws, it has like its strengths.
There's a lot that we like and don't like about it.
But I gotta say, being able to do this with Duffy and all of his friends
really like puts it up in the ranks for me.
Like, I know that's like a me thing.
Like, I love them.
You might not care about them, but like, I don't know.
I think this is pretty cool.
Oh my god, it's Mickey.
How are you enjoying the adventure, Mickey?
You like it?
Yeah, it's a fake ship.
Wow, so we didn't see Mickey earlier today,
but I just randomly ran into him in the hallway.
Wasn't expecting that.
Next up, we're going to Tiana's Bayou Lounge.
And this is one of the bars on the ship.
And you might recognize this because there's one similar on the Disney Wish.
And the main entertainment space kind of looks like that.
Right now they're doing trivia over there,
but the vines and the bayou kind of envelops you
and you can actually see the fireflies twinkling overhead.
But there's also an additional area.
It's this round bar.
It's kind of grand.
And I think one of the things I like about it
is there's a secret seating area in the middle of it.
First of all, I love the look of this menu.
It's so pretty.
And I was looking inside of it
and it seems to have a very similar menu to the one that's on the Wish,
including it has some beignets here as well.
But I think the drink that we're most interested in
is they have like this smoked Old Fashioned.
So Peter is going to get that for sure.
This has Salford honey rum and bitters.
And they put it in the machine and they smoke it up.
It's a nice presentation and it looks good.
And it also looked like there was more ingredients in there than what that said.
I know that they have a version of this on the Disney Wish,
but I think it has slightly different ingredients.
I just want to point out that they have like these fancy green napkins
that say Disney Adventure on it here.
Yeah, we're feeling a lot of people are going to be pocketing those
and taking them home.
Don't do that.
Don't do it.
This is a very good Old Fashioned.
It's actually made with rum instead of whiskey
and it's like slightly sweeter because it's like a honey rum.
The smoke isn't overpowering.
It's just like a little bit subtle taste in there.
And I like this quite a bit.
As a connoisseur of Old Fashioneds and smoky drinks on Disney Cruise Lines,
I'm going to give this a five out of five here.
They have a lot of smoky drinks on Disney Cruise Lines.
I feel like it's a gimmick.
Well, we always fall for it.
We love the bubble machine and the smoke machine.
Yeah, it looks good on camera.
So we always fall for it.
You know what?
The drinks end up usually being good.
Sometimes they aren't.
But usually they are.
But this one is.
This one's good.
Trust me.
This almost tastes like you took a honey stick and you put it over ice
and you put some smoke on it.
Ordinary adventure start.
Who am I?
Kitra a year ago would not like this.
I'm a changed woman.
So we sat down at the bar here and I noticed this crazy contraption
and it turns out that that's a cold brew maker
and they have a bunch of cold brew cocktails.
But it took me until the sixth day on this cruise ship
to realize that I could have gotten some cold brew.
I went to a bunch of different lounges asking for cold brew
and I had to get iced Americanos.
So pro tip, if you want cold brew or a cold brew cocktail, come here.
And I feel like I want one of those for our house.
Can you imagine one of those in our kitchen?
Yeah, apparently it's popular in Japan.
Yeah.
But anyways, I decided to get myself one beignet and a cafe au lait.
And such a beautiful presentation.
It even says Tiana's Bayou Lounge on top.
I love when they do that on the foam.
This is definitely the best beignet I've ever had on a cruise ship.
It is by no means as good as the Mickey Beignets
that you'll find at the Michelin bar at Disneyland.
But for being on a cruise ship, it's actually quite nice.
It's nice and fluffy in the middle.
It's dense.
It's not sometimes when you bite into a beignet,
it's just like a pocket of air and there's nothing inside of it.
The chocolate sauce helps.
I feel like the combo with the coffee is nice.
It's only like four or five bucks.
So I feel like if you are going to get the beignets,
I would go this route because you get a nice cup of coffee,
nice little sweet treat.
Today is our last night on the ship.
And what better way to go out than to go to Palo,
our favorite Disney restaurant.
And we're going with all our friends.
So it should be a good time.
I'm not sure if this Palo is any different
than the other ones on the other ships,
but I've heard it's beautiful.
We've heard this Palo has a Lucca theme to it.
So there's some art on the walls based on Lucca.
This piece in the entryway is so beautiful.
I really want to go to the place that's the inspiration for this someday.
When you first step in, there's a little bar here.
And at the bar, I found a bottle of Cognac.
That is a one out of one.
And apparently a shot of this is how much?
$165.
They can't even sell the bottle,
but it's $165 per shot.
Stepping into this Palo,
I was surprised at how different it is from the other ships.
Like the colors are mainly blues,
like the ocean and wood colors,
and maybe some grays as well.
It's two stories.
It has these gigantic windows that overlook into the ocean
in a way that I have not seen in a Palo restaurant before.
It has nice touches of Lucca,
like some paintings on the walls.
Even the rug has like hidden little bits of Lucca in there.
It's just so elegantly done.
And I'm excited to eat here tonight.
This is huge.
Oh my god.
There's an upstairs?
Wow.
I'm so happy we're here during the daytime
so I can look out the windows.
Oh my god.
We're like in the back private room.
Oh my god.
I saw this room before.
Oh my god.
Wait.
This is so cool.
Are you serious?
So we actually got the private room on the second level
as a huge Lucca mural.
And on the ceiling,
they have these bubbles,
which are supposed to represent the ocean?
I don't know.
I think so.
The menu is fairly different.
But they have all the classics that you expect from Palo.
But I was surprised at how many different things they have.
Yeah.
One of my favorites, the agnolotti, was not here yet.
It didn't make it across the sea.
So that was a bummer.
But it's okay.
It forced me to try something different.
Yeah.
I want to say our service was top-notch.
Our server, Anna, was...
She even squeezed the lemons into our cups for the water.
Yeah.
She was incredible.
She was great.
We are now platinum on Castaway Club,
which means we get a $55 credit each for our Palo meal,
which is amazing.
Yeah.
That's probably the best perk of being platinum.
And of course, Palo starts out with a mousse bouche.
That is always amazing.
Every time we get it, I want...
I wish they offered it as a main course
because I could eat like a hundred of those.
And here, it was like the same exact thing.
Yeah.
I started off my meal with a glass of sparkling rosé,
which was very delicious.
I'm a sucker for a good rosé.
And this was a nice one.
And then I also got the burrata mozzarella caprese appetizer.
And I had her put that glazed balsamic on top,
which honestly, that's another thing.
You can just sprinkle it over anything Apollo
and it makes it like a hundred times better.
This is a classic.
It's creamy.
It's so fresh.
It's like such a nice way to start your meal.
And I ordered a new item.
I ordered the rigatoni for the table.
This wasn't exactly what I was expecting
because usually when you order rigatoni,
it comes with the bolognese sauce.
And this, the sauce here was like sweet,
like so sweet.
The pasta was so well cooked.
I'll give it, it was very good.
I'd give it like a four to five pieces.
And like I said, I really wanted the agnolotti,
but they didn't have it.
So I decided to try the gnocchi
and this came with a tomato and saffron base.
And normally Apollo, it's pesto and it's so good.
The gnocchi itself, so fresh, so nice,
but I think I prefer the pesto.
But I mean, this still gets like a four and a half out of five.
For my entree, I ended up getting
the pure blood Wagyu beef sirloin.
And this is an A plus on the marbling scale.
And this came with a truffle thyme jus.
It's so buttery, so fatty.
I actually think I like this better
than the one that we got at Mike and Sully's.
And that was one of the best steaks I've ever had.
Wow.
And some of the people at the table
did not agree on that one.
I should have tried it.
For whatever reason, I just wasn't feeling like steak.
Oh, I will say the truffle thyme sauce
was just so rich and just added so much.
And then for dessert, I tried the new menu item.
This is a limoncello souffle.
And it comes with like a raspberry sauce hot take.
I think this actually might be better than the chocolate.
They don't have the amaretto souffle here.
They only have the chocolate or the lemon.
So it really depends on what you're in the mood for,
what your flavor palette is.
But it tasted like a warm lemon poppy seed muffin.
It was so comforting and so good.
I loved it so much.
Peter, however, didn't feel the same way.
Yeah, I just don't like lemon dessert.
Yeah, so don't trust him.
Just not for me.
Yeah.
I got the classic.
I got the chocolate souffle.
This is a classic for a reason.
It's a five out of five Ordinary Adventure Galaxy.
We had so much fun with our friends at Polo
on our last night of this epic trip.
Like we've had so much fun this trip
in Singapore and on the ship.
Hair, hair, to making it count.
That's from Titanic.
What a way to go out at Polo.
I know, we ended with a bang.
The restaurant itself is just so much bigger
and probably the prettiest Polo.
Yes, definitely the prettiest Polo.
We had this private room and it was just so much fun
and our friends are so much fun.
I'm sad that the cruise is over now.
I feel like this is the final night
and that was our last supper
and we're going to be going home tomorrow.
The long flight home.
We're ending our night with Lion King celebration in the sky.
They don't have a pirate night on this Disney cruise ship.
It's a Lion King themed fireworks show.
Yeah, so that's different.
Wow, that was a 12 minute long fireworks show.
That wasn't like a Disney cruise line,
five, six minute fireworks show.
That was like a real fireworks show.
Yeah, normally on pirates night
they have some sort of little show element
and then they have fireworks for like five minutes
but that went on for a long time.
The music selection in that was so nice.
It was Lion King themed
but it was a bunch of really fun medleys
and a bunch of like not just like the more popular songs
like some like deep cuts and some like stuff from like
I think like the Mufasa movies and stuff
but it was so good and it was narrated
and had a really like sweet story
and I really liked that.
The only thing is is like...
It gets a little repetitive.
I wish there was like some kind of story going.
I wish there was like a stage show.
There's no room for a stage.
This place was packed.
Yeah.
I've never seen a...
Like they don't have enough room
to fit all the guests on the cruise ship on this deck.
Yeah and like also the view...
I don't know if there is like a really good view.
Like our view was okay.
We saw it fine.
You could see fireworks from anywhere
but like how cool would it have been
if Simba went riding by like on the roller coaster or something?
That would have been awesome.
The whole time I was like waiting for that
I'm like that would have been so cool.
I'm kind of wondering if they could make it better
by putting clips from the movies on the screen
but maybe the light would ruin the fireworks.
Maybe you want like because they dim the lights and stuff.
I don't know but I was impressed
but it just felt a little repetitive.
I liked it.
I feel like it was a perfect way to end our night.
So I decided to come outside on our balcony
during the fireworks show to see if we could see them
and we had a pretty good view.
Like it was kind of obstructed
but you get the gist of it.
You could hear the music loud and clear
and the best part about this is you're not stuck up there in a crowd.
You don't have to fight for the elevator on the way down
and you get to sit down on your balcony in a chair
and watch the fireworks.
So if you book room 12629 you'll have a good view.
I'm sad to say this is our final Disney adventure video.
We had so much fun.
But don't worry we have a ton of videos coming from Singapore
so if you aren't subscribed please subscribe.
If you want to see some videos from our favorite Disney cruise ship
we'll put them right over there.
It wasn't the Disney adventure it was a different thing.
And we'd like to say thank you to some of our Patreons.
That's Andrea and Lisa.
Thank you so much and we'll see you on the next adventure.
