Decorating for Summer 2026 - Elegant Vintage Dining Room Ideas & Tablescapes

In this video we are decorating our dining room for Summer 2026 bringing in some ideas for lighter and brighter colors. I create a small Summer tablescape as well as a large formal table for 12. This area of our home is all about entertaining with family. As you know if you follow our channel, I always change out our china display on our shelves with the seasons. This allows us to enjoy all of our china outside our cabinets as well as bring colors in our space for the season we are in. When we think of the summer season, blue and yellow are always colors that invoke a summer palette. I am giving this a lighter more muted look in this space for 2026 with peach, yellow and creams with a touch of lavender. I took inspiration from our Heinrich and Co. 1930's china called "Songbird" that is displayed on our dining room shelves. The muted tones gives us elegance and beauty just on their own. I also created a few summer florals for interest and accentuate our space with the same colors. We are very pleased with the way the large table and small tables came out with our buttery yellow damask tablecloths and crystal accessories. Vintage and antiques are a passion for us we love the art and craftsmanship of older pieces from a time gone by. We hope this video gives you some ideas on your own dining room decor or projects.
