Jia Nan Yuan vs Adina Diaconu | WT - QF | #ITTFWorlds2026

Going the way of Yuan Zhanan. 11-9 in the fifth. And I expect we can see... Coming right here. That's it, lock-ons. Arm to Medina. Wants to finish points ideally within three or five balls. 7-4. Trusty backhand serve. Has set up the third ball beautifully throughout this entire first game. This perfect serving masterclass. Yes, she can. Three game points. Discipline from Diagonu. And this is what we're going to need to see from her. This aggression. Rising to the occasion. That is what you don't want to give Zhanan. Really utilizing the width of the table. Unbelievable. Where she normally never wants to brace it, but with the sharp pimples. That was an exceptional point, Maria. You can really use a lot more of your body than with the backhand. And you can get that angle wide out. Too loose in that call. Consistency here from Yuan Zhanan. Losing points right now, these two. Within two. Short shot on the forehand, you can see. Compared to the Romanian's forehand. Same serve. Astonishing play. You end with a game point. Three to eleven, game. Resilience at its finest by Zhanan. It's a tug of war. Three, four. You don't often see in longer exchanges. She stays close. On the forehand. Perhaps her Asian counterparts who are very short, sharp and dynamic. She's had such a lead. Best here. Three. What an exchange between these two European players. On the court. Fighting it out. Backhand serve from Yuan. Easiest way to win a point. That's the mark of a good player. Seven. Dai Cun who saves the first game point here. Dai Cun who finds ways to get it away from her. Zhanan is finding her rhythm. Not enough on that receive against that float serve. There she went cross court for that first point. That second point on the receiving end of the net. But overall I agree with you. She's been really good down the line play. Two reactive there. Eyes in the veins. Spoken again. Don't want to mess with her Josh. Level up the score. Game points. To Adina Dai Cun. She takes it. And we're going to a decider here. Adina Dai Cun. With some sensational stuff. And that one there has been really good. Really coming down to third ball. Has to try to be a bit more active. On the balls. Of her feet Dai Cun. Three. Seven. Bit of mixed doubles with Yuan Zhanna. Paul Dorano is watching this one as well. Yeah. There is so much power. Even though she wins that one. With the high toss serve now. Match points. In between Yuan Zhanna. And Adina Dai Cun. Just like it was in the French League. But the captainess. Performer. Europe top 16 cup champion. Delivers the goods here in match one.
