I've been very impressed with Ruger's new RXM and RXM Tactical, espically at a more budget friendly price point. Let me know your thoughts!

Oh, I pulled one. All right, I pulled one. I know I'll be able to clear it like 100% soon, but hey,
forget that. Let's talk about this, the Ruger RX-M, which is newer in and of itself,
but even newer than that is the tactical model, which just has a threaded barrel. All right,
I mean, that's cool if you ask me, because I like to shoot suppressed and things along those lines,
but at the end of it all, I am really impressed with what Ruger and Magpul have come up with here.
Yeah, I'm a fan of that. Man, that is too fun. Huge thanks to my friends over at Manadnock
Firearms who've been a supporter of the channel since day number one and who are local to me up
here in New Hampshire and just, well, they just scream integrity and everything that I want in a
local gun shop and of course available nationwide if you're picking up what I'm putting down
there. So check out Manadnock Firearms, and if you're wondering what the heck is a Manadnock,
it's only like the most popular mountain in all of North America, so look it up. With that,
we just got back from our second annual Gun Owners Advocacy and Leadership Summit
with Gun Owners of America being their second annual event out at Knoxville, Tennessee, and I
am excited and honored to say that, yes, I was the host there again, and it was amazing to see so
many pro-2A advocates and voices on the stage, and again, just seeing everybody, all my friends,
and just everybody that, well, just loves the Second Amendment. So if you're not a member of
Gun Owners of America, get signed up today, and we will see you guys next year, August 1st and 2nd,
in Des Moines, Iowa. So don't miss out in Des Moines, Iowa, is where you guys will see Gun
Owners Advocacy and Leadership Summit number three celebrating the 50th birthday and anniversary of
Gun Owners of America. And last but not least, if you're looking for a made-in-America storage
solution for all of your Second Amendment pride, firearms, gear, ammunition, whatever else it might
be, look no further than Hold Up Displays. Hold Up Displays is your number one solution for getting
all that gear off the ground, on the walls, beautifully displayed, and even secured with
their locking wall mount. So check out Hold Up Displays, and with all that being said, let's get
Welcome back, everybody. Clint here today, excited to be talking to you about this little guy. How
many of you all just cringed me using the slide release on an empty chamber? I am excited to be
talking about the Ruger RXM. This is Ruger's collaboration with Magpul. Yes, the Magpul,
right? And I gotta tell you, I think they did a really good job with this gun. There's just some
out-of-the-box features that I am really excited about. Now, this one specifically is the tactical
model. The tactical model comes with everything that the regular model does but a threaded barrel,
all right? Just need to make sure you keep that nice and tight. And ultimately, what they wanted
to do is make a, I mean, a competition for an everyday carry gun that is similar to like Glock
Gen 3 because it takes Gen 3 accessories, you know, holsters, aftermarket parts, things like that that
are really similar but with Ruger and Magpul's touch. So like the Magpul enhanced grip module
that you see here. Yes, I said grip module because this is a modular pistol. Now we can tie
it back into what I'm looking forward to. So this has a Glock 19 size grip. Comes with two 15 round
magazines which, you know, I wouldn't mind a third magazine in there but I get it. You want to keep
the price down because price point on these guys, MSRP for the standard RXM, $499. For the tactical
model with the threaded barrel, $569. Nice, right? What I'm looking forward to is if they
make like a full-size tactical model. So threaded barrel and a 17 size frame. That I think I would
like quite a bit. Actually, I can't really say frame but more of a grip module, right? So that's
something I'm looking forward to if they do at some point in time but really this gun out of
the box is pretty impressive. Besides the looks and fill, they also... that's kind of the nice
thing about the 19 size grip module is it can still take the 17 magazines but it can't go the
opposite way. If you have a 17 size grip, you're not going to be able to take the 19 size mags
which are only 15. That just doesn't work that way. So that's something I do like about this.
Up top on the forward and rear serrated slide, which does feel very good, you'd notice that we
do have a co-witnessing kind of, depending on your optics setup, tritium front sight standard
rear. Okay, now I have been running this one pretty hard and quite a bit. So if you notice
just beat up on the grip, stuff like that, a little bit of dirt and sand, that might be because
I've gotten it into the dirt and sand and like I said it's been used quite a bit.
So with that being said, when I talk about like the suppressor height sights or the raised sights,
the co-witnessing sights, it depends really on your optic. I've got the EOTech E-Flex which is
a little bit thicker optic. So you'll see you don't really make it over the optic itself but
it does get pretty close. I can still pick up my front sight but barely. All right, just barely.
So something to keep in mind. Now if you've got an RMR or something that's got a little bit thinner
base to it, it's going to co-witness just fine. So just keep that in mind. But what's really nice
is their optic mounting system. It's built right into the slide. The footprint for all of your
most popular optics, RMR, RMSC, Delta Point Pro, things like that, is already
drilled into the slide. You don't have to get any adapters, any plates, or anything like that.
That I am a huge fan of. Underneath you're going to notice it's more of an accessory rail on the
frame because I guess Picatinny, you know, whatever. I guess I wanted something that looked
a little bit smoother when you don't have in light or anything like that on there. I've got
one of my Surefire X300s, which is still very easy enough to activate. Whether that's going
to be dominant hand or non-dominant, depending. Again, I have a really hard time deactivating.
If I go from the top on that, there we go. I usually use my non-dominant hand to actually
activate the light. However, still very comfortable. I like that a lot. If we're
going a little bit further back, the trigger on it, I'll be honest, nothing really to write home
about. It feels like not as gritty. Now granted, I've got a couple hundred rounds through here
already. So, you know, it's starting to smooth out a little bit. But you're going to notice
when we start to ghost this guy, you do have just your standard blade safety right in front of the
trigger itself. I'm going to go ahead and start applying a little bit of pressure. You start to
hit a wall there, but yeah, you notice that movement. It's more squishy than a firm take-up.
And then the reset, a little bit of travel, a little bit of travel, a little bit of travel.
There it is. One more time. We'll take it to the wall. There it is. And then back again. So it's
reminiscent of a standard Glock trigger coming in anywhere between three and a quarter to five and
a quarter pounds, which not bad. I think it's fine for, like I said, that duty everyday carry setup,
but I'm sure there's going to be some aftermarket support out there to crispen that up some if
that's what you are looking for. Now, like I said, since it's similar to a Gen 3 design, you're going
have that similar Gen 3 mag release on here, not ambidextrous. You cannot switch that around.
Obviously, that'd be kind of difficult to make happen, but I can say it works and it feels good.
And it's something that I'm accustomed to because I've got a Gen 3 Glock and that just feels all
right. You know what I mean? Cool. So I pretty much hit on some of my favorite features about
the pistol. Now it really comes down to, well, how does it shoot, right? Standard Magpul 17 round
mags. Let's just shoot it and you guys can see. Hit them all except for one. It feels good. Picks
up nice. The optic itself is sitting, like I said, flat enough. And when I get that muzzle rise some,
it's not bad. I'm sitting at maybe about 15 yards away from my targets. Big shout out to
Shooting Targets USA. It feels good. It's fun. Does well. Standard Glock magazine now.
Shooting it one-handed. Picks up nice. I mean, I'm pretty impressed. Just want to keep that
thread protector on there. Again, I see how this could be competition in the field right now for a
lot of other mainstream pistols in that price range. But for, you know, MSRP $569, getting
something that comes out of the box with your raised sights. I would prefer to have Tritium
rear sights also, but that's okay. The front sight is obviously what you want to be focusing on when
you're getting into those engagements or shooting. So I'm cool with that. And most of the time I'm
going to be throwing a red dot on something that's red dot capable. So I'm happy with that.
Takes down just like any other Glock. Pull the trigger and then you've got your takedown tabs.
Easy enough. So all I can say is I want to hear from you guys down in the comment section below,
what do you think about Magpul and Ruger getting together to make the RXM and the RXM tactical?
What are you looking forward for Ruger to be coming out with? Yes, I think we're all anticipating
a full-size frame. We'll see. We'll see when and if it happens. I'm assuming it's going to happen.
You make something modular and you don't offer separate grip modules. It's kind of like missed
opportunity big time. So I'm like I said, maybe they're even going to make more of a subcontact
design. You know, they can start getting into, I don't know, since it's actually modular,
really doing some cool things with this. And like I said, since it's already taking Gen 3
accessories and holsters, that's really nice. So yeah, you guys sound off down in the comment
section below. Don't forget too that I just got back from GOALS, the Gun Owners Advocacy and
Leadership Summit out in Knoxville, Tennessee. This is the second annual GOALS event that Gun
Owners of America has put on and we are really excited to be celebrating our 50th anniversary
out in Des Moines, Iowa. Yes. So join us August 1st and 2nd, 2026 for GOALS 3 celebrating the
50th anniversary of GOA. Not a lot of 501c3s make it to their 50th. So we're really excited to be
celebrating that. Of course, we're most excited to be celebrating our victories for the Second
Amendment. All right. So if you're not a member, become a member today. Again, big shout out and
thanks to the homies over at Monadnock Firearms who helps make all of this possible and hold up
displays as well if you're looking for that secure firearm storage. And lastly, big shout out and
thank you to all of you at home watching right now because you've made this all possible as well.
Your support and also your viewership and subscribing to get us to 100,000 subscribers.
How cool. Stay tuned. Now I need to go load up a couple more mags. God bless. See you next time.
What? Did you think that we weren't going to shoot the RXM Tactical suppressed? Absolutely. I got to
try it suppressed. Now what's cool about Ruger and the RXM is they actually include the guide
rod and spring to shoot suppressed. So that way it's a better reliability. So I've got on here
the inert haze TIP, very lightweight can, and this thing is running flawlessly with this suppressor
and of course switching out that guide rod and spring. The problem is if you keep the factory
guide rod and spring both come with the gun, like I said, which is awesome, you don't really have
great luck cycling the gun. But they admit that. They say that, hey, if you're going to be shooting
suppressed, switch out the rod and spring. Easy enough. So how does it sound with the TIP from
inert haze? I'm not wearing ears. My ears aren't ringing. Actually the impact on steel, the impact
on steel is significantly louder. This is a pretty sweet gun, especially with that silencer. I think
first of all that look and everything is just awesome. I think they did a really good job with
that and I'm pretty happy about it. So you guys tell me what you think down in the comment
comment section below about the RX-M. That feels good.
