My van build is not over. This time I need my friend's help / electrical system

Good morning guys so today I will do a couple things to prep the van. Me and Joseph my friend that you saw in one of the previous video we're gonna put an electrical inside my van so I need to go underneath my bed and clean up everything put everything I'm at storage right now I don't know if you can see but it's raining a little bit outside so I'm at storage right now I'm gonna put what's underneath my bed inside my storage unit so we can start planning things underneath the bed and put the electrical eventually there I also have to do a little bit of construction so that's my plan today I was supposed to do that tomorrow but it's kind of a little bit raining today but not too too much so I think we're gonna be I'm gonna be all right to cut the plywood and cut everything I need to do this so that's the plan for today hey kitty we need to move everything no no no you're not going outside oh no we're not a good place to go outside no you need to stay inside I know so yeah we need to move everything kitty those batteries are so heavy I need one more to go pick it up oh that's a good cardio to bring those two battery my storage at the second floor of the storage unit so I had to bring the two batteries down the stairs so now what I'm gonna do I'm gonna measure because I need to put the cover so the cat doesn't go where the battery and all the other school the electrical sorry is so I do have to measure and I do have a bunch of plywood in my storage and the bonus stuff still in the storage construction material so it is why I keep that storage right now because really useful when you build a van to have a place to just store your material and all that so I'm gonna measure underneath sorry I'm out of breath a little bit yeah I'm gonna measure see what I have I have to go at Home Depot to get some breeding material if you want some material that's gonna be able to keep the air flow and not allow the cat to go there so yeah that's the plan all right don't judge my super messy storage unit it's got a lot of stuff that needs to get donate and go maybe at the dump station those one that I cannot do it but I do have a bunch of wood here and stuff that I didn't use for my van bill so what I'm gonna do I'm gonna measure what I need see if I can find something I'm sure I can find something here that I can use photos building this to be quite honest I don't really feel to do that because when you worked so much to build your van you just you just get tired at one point to do some van build but I'm gonna be glad that will be over so I really want to do that this morning and be ready so Joseph doesn't have to deal with this as he got a lot on his own so yeah so I'm gonna do that Kenny just escaped from the van hopefully she can do anything for this so I just went inside the van shake the bag and she just ran right to me so it's not the first time she do that escaping from the van when I leave the van the door the van open a little bit too long just sneak on me but she's very good like temptation just shaking the bag and she will run right to me and I don't give her treat that often so she really like can't do anything for that and yeah she did good so I'm gonna go purchase what I need and go talk to Joseph and see if it's gonna work before I start cutting everything all right all right it's quite a mess I move the mattress right behind me here and this is where the electrical is gonna go so I need to put those batteries there put the flat like a front here so the cat cannot go there and yeah the van looks so messy right now my mattress is huge because I do have a lot of back problems so I have a really big mattress compared to a lot of people live in a van and all my bedding is right here on top of everything so yeah the best part about my bed is in three portion so right now I do have those three usually those three 2x4 in the middle with a sheet of plywood here and other like small sheet of plywood that cover here they are right here right now so this allowed me to work underneath my bed without removing a big like 2x8 or 2x6 sheet of plywood so they are in three separate ways so I can work on it like right now I left this portion on because I don't have to work here so this is really I think the best if you plan of doing a bed is doing this way I that was not a plan is just because I found some to sorry I found some piece of plywood for free so what I did I just worked with what I had but it turned out to be great because now I can work behind my underneath my bed without removing a big sheet of plywood and the way that I wanted to do bed to be at first was to have like I think they call it dinette which is sorry which is where you just can have a table in the middle of your bed and kind of like removing the mattress and all that and I have like a place to work if you know what I mean but I decided that I didn't want to go this way because I didn't want to have to move the bedding and the whole thing I knew that was not something that I would want to do every day so I kind of like didn't go that way but if I wanted for sure to do it underneath would be fine it just I'm gonna lose a lot of storage if I do that because in the middle right here sorry right here actually have three bins so three of those blue bins that you saw and yeah so if I go this way I'm gonna lose that space so I'm gonna have to put probably some cabinet here which I don't really want to do go that way so yeah all right so the van is so messy right now this is the worst part when you work on a van and you live in it it just get messy like so fast and I'm glad that I have a storage still but it's on the second floor so I don't put everything there you know like I just just make a little bit of space but when every time you move things just get so messy so fast so all right so we're gonna put everything together and yeah do that good morning guys all right so yesterday I didn't finish was I thought we'll finish kind of start raining a lot of thing happened and the battery was dead and my main battery was dead too so I had to charge everything and I had like a bad headache coming I mean not too bad but I have like I don't know if you're gonna be able to see but I have like a big bump here on my neck like right yeah I don't know if you can see but right here it's pretty bad and just on my top of my head too so I don't feel the best today it's not too bad but yeah you know like when you don't feel the best and you do some construction thing it's not the greatest and right now the van looks so bad I'm gonna show you so the mattress is here staying up I already pull out all my bed so the best part is we're really gonna have the space to work on I cut this pieces this morning and I'm gonna cut the rest that I have to do and yes it is it is a mess but yeah so we're gonna have the space to work on it so that's the best part of it so yeah I'm gonna cut the two two more pieces to cut and I'm gonna go meet Joseph and we're gonna start working on this at least it's beautiful today and I think I'm gonna be able to bring a couple of things outside so it's gonna be great to finish this so we're gonna do the first part of my electrical we're not gonna do the wire today what he's gonna do is gonna measure everything how much wire we need and all that and maybe we're gonna meet next week but supposed to get cold next week so we're gonna see what's gonna happen with this but at least we're gonna install all the parts that we need to install like you can't tell I have no idea that's why Joseph helped me right now because I have no idea what's going on with my electrical this is where my cat hang out when we're doing the construction she's on leash right now looking for the birds and this is us little stuff everywhere at the park I'm gonna say hi famous Jeffy bear so this is our setup right here so we're gonna install everything but Joseph can install everything because I have no idea where everything go and so after that we're gonna be able to put my bed frame back inside the van like that that's gonna be super easy for him to work and install everything here so that's what we're doing right now. I hope that's what it is. It's like a $130 fix or a $110 fix. Did you go fix it? No, I bought a new one and I bought a little Ford emblem it was on that door and then total it came to like $145 but I got a brand new rubber within the next day it's on the other side we only have some on that side on that door yep that's where it leaks right right down the middle right down the middle okay and it's because the rubber on top it's got a little indent I don't think it's it's right down the middle and because you can see from see the water damage on that little piece of wood there yeah yeah that's that's where it's hitting. Yeah I had some on both sides a little bit. I gotta get a new gasket for mine too it's 200 bucks. Oh I know they're not cheap and I'm gonna have to cut out some trap doors I have a hard time getting my freaking laundry detergent out. That's the real detergent? That's not your pee bottle? You don't want to mix that up in the laundry mat? Barnyard fresh. Smells like horse piss. That pee bottle officially is a laundry detergent bottle, so joke wise if he's not paying attention he might be taking that one into the laundry detergent, the laundry place, and do his laundry with it. It's not gonna clean his clothes. All right guys so um what I'm gonna do too because I have the door open today um I thought it was a perfect day because it's really sunny today to have my door trim um glue so if you follow one of my videos I said that I had some mold in the back door uh so the weather seal from my back door um was just out of place and it was leaking water so I talked to one of my friends who's a retired mechanic and he looked at my uh weather seal and he said I should be all right without changing the whole thing so what I'm gonna do I'm gonna glue with this glue what's the name of it goop um I'm gonna try it out see how that goes see I do have any leak again and I'm not gonna put the back the panel so let me show you so I need to glue this back on because it's loose but I'm not gonna put the panel right there um I'm gonna wait to see if I have any leak coming so I do have the panel I paint it with on both sides with the mold paint resistant so I'm not gonna put that on because I want to see if I'm gonna have any leak first and after that I'm gonna you know when I'm sure 100% that the water doesn't come and it's dry there I'm gonna put the panel after that so yeah that's what I'm gonna do I'm gonna put I'm gonna glue this on today because it's nice and sunny and we do have the door open for the rest of the afternoon the cats playing outside and all that so we good to go so I'm gonna do that right now all right guys so we just came back from buying a couple more pieces that Joseph needed and I'm gonna keep all my receipts so next time that I do I'm gonna do like kind of part two of this wire and electrical system because right now we're just taking care of pretty much what's going to be in the back and maybe next week if the weather is nice we'll see that Joseph's gonna bring the wire from my main battery to the back ones so we still have to to get some wire for that but I'm gonna keep all my receipt and let you know how much that's gonna cost me for all of this so let's finish the project all right guys before I close everything I'm gonna show you what we did today so this is the part that we installed here a couple wire the battery are in place and I'm gonna put everything back now and Joseph is here with Jeffy and we are packing everything right now all right guys I think I'm gonna let you with this so don't forget to subscribe go check showing the wild Joseph channel right now sorry I'm a little bit tired go check his channel is gonna put at one point a little bit more detail about the build and yeah we're gonna need at least to do one full day of wiring that he said so yeah it's quite a big job I'm happy today was nice and sunny and warm too so that was perfect so I will take you with this and do the usual come check with me in the comment section below you know I love that and I will see you soon guys all right bye
