Hi and welcome to another one of my videos. In this video we're spending 72 hours in Hong Kong.
We are currently on our way back from our long trip to Auckland. We went via Hong Kong and Sydney
and now we're on our way back. So this is our final stop. We're here in Hong Kong for three days
before we fly back to Amsterdam. Late last night we arrived. Martin and I went out to find some
dinner. So we got some ramen. It was super super good. It was exactly what we needed.
Today we were up early. Got some breakfast. We had breakfast at this really nice place that
we actually saw last night as well. It was called Kushi. Kushi toch? Kushti. Kushti misschien.
It was called Kushti. I had a smoothie and some pancakes. It was super super good.
We were in dire need of some coffee so that was also very nice.
Now we are once again on the road because we're gonna go to Wan Chai,
which is a neighborhood. But first we're making a stop at the Central Market.
We just walked in here and we realized that we actually were here before when we were
on our way to Auckland and we stopped in Hong Kong. We actually also went to the Central Market
in Hong Kong Island already. I forget to mention but in my last video of Hong Kong, so on our way
here, we were staying in Hong Kong on the mainland and now we are staying in Hong Kong Island,
which is nice. We're actually out so early that a lot of things are still closed.
We saw a sign for a stationery store so now we're going up mysterious stairs.
Okay they had some cute things. I bought three little washi tapes and they cost me 42 Hong Kong
dollars, which is like five euros for three. Great deal. So now we're on our way again.
Bubble tea!
Huh?
Yes!
Holy ----, that's crazy. Holy hell, is that a turnip?
So I'm back in the hotel. I went to Don Don Donki and to Zaza because I wanted to buy some like
cute beauty stuff for my friends to bring back. I bought this super cute souvenir. It's a little
lip balm but it looks like a little gummy bear. Yes, I have specific people in mind
for the different colors. I got myself a blue one. How cute is this? Stop, it's freaking adorable.
This is the little bear. Ah, look at that. Oh my god, stop. I thought it was gonna be a lip balm.
This color. Okay, cute. So that's everything I got. I'm gonna go find some lunch
and some coffee hopefully. So let's go do that.
So I went to Coco Espresso. I had an iced latte and a salmon bagel. The iced latte was not for me
but the salmon bagel was super good and then I drank the rest of my iced latte after and I could
appreciate it more then. So maybe, I don't know. But at first I really didn't like it. In any case,
I'm gonna walk towards the hotel but I'm gonna make a stop at Silk and maybe get a bubble tea
because I saw so many people there. So I'm thinking it's very good. So let's go check it out.
One, five, three. Thank you. Okay, so I got the smooth boba, 50% sugar, less ice. It's apparently
the classic boba with like brown sugar tapioca pearls.
It's super good. It's a lot different from the one that we had at Haiti. The tapioca pearls are
super, super nice. It has a very nice sweetness. Again, I got the 50% sweetness so maybe that's
the way to go. It's less thick than the one at Haiti which is a lot more creamy and like heavy
whereas this is more, it's not watery but it's less heavy cream like. This is more nice and
refreshing. Also, I see so many girls take cute pictures with the bobas that have a little holder.
It's adorable. So I'm gonna enjoy this and people watch and I'll see you later. I completely forgot
but they gave me a fortune cookie for the new year. Let's see what my fortune is.
Good cookie. So my fortune is luck's on your side, own the flow.
That's some good fortune. Now I'm, I finished my boba. I've been sitting here for a good while.
Just people watching, texting my mom, just enjoying being here. So I think I'm gonna make my way back
to the hotel, kind of hang out and see what the plan is for the rest of the afternoon. I'm gonna
head back to the hotel.
That is so cute. Okay, let's go people.
Okay, so I went to Silk again. I wanted to get the same one but the lady working there recommended
this first one to me, which is called the Smooth King. And now I need to decompress,
it's so busy everywhere. So I'm going to the hotel and just hang out in the lobby
and maybe edit some more. And of course, I'll review the boba. So let's go.
Okay, so I'm sitting in the hotel lobby. Yesterday I got the bubble tea that was called the Smooth
Boba. Today the lady recommended to me to upgrade to the Smooth King, which entails the following.
Classic Hong Kong style milk tea from the 50 year old family recipe and brown sugar boba,
but this time with homemade honeycomb on top. And that is laying on a thick layer of Silk
original cheese cloud. If that doesn't sound delicious, I don't know what does. Let me just
show you the honeycomb real quick. I'm getting high-key overstimulated, so I needed to retreat
in the hotel lobby. Super good. Let me try the cheese cap. Oh my gosh. And the honeycomb.
Okay, wow. That is delicious. Okay, that actually might be the best boba I've ever had.
So good. 10 out of 10. Okay, this is exactly what I needed. I think I'm gonna hang out here,
do some more editing maybe, and just hang out. Oh, hello. Hello there. I got some takeaway food
because my brother and my dad were not hungry, and I am. Edamame for protein.
Oh my god, it's in lettuce wraps. Shrimp tacos, but they're not in taco shells, they're in lettuce.
Okay, low carb queen. That was not on purpose, but hey-ho. And these are my edamame.
Yum. Super good though.
After finishing my delicious lettuce wraps, we called a taxi to take us to the airport for our
final flight of the trip back to the Netherlands. What an incredible trip. I'm so grateful to have
been able to see all these sights with my dad and my brother, but I also want to thank you for
coming with us. I hope you enjoyed these travel vlogs, but for my next video I'll see you back
in Miami. See you there.
