New Year’s in Niseko, Japan Vlog

All right, we just landed in Japan and it's already snowing outside. This is going to be sick. Let's go. Now we're getting some gear at a secondhand shop so that we can cut costs down. I found these epic boots and this helmet. We got our van and jammed for two hours as we drove to Niseko. We just got all of our snow gear. We're ready to ride. All right, we finally made it to the slopes and it's time to attempt to go snowboarding. I haven't gone snowboarding in three years, so let's see how it goes. Crazy, it's been so long since I've tried this. No laughing. After a great sesh of learning, it's time to get some grub. We're at the food truck. Cute. Ohayo to the people. It is our first official day in Japan of snowboarding all day long. We had a couple falls yesterday, but today I think we're going to do pretty good because we made a lot of progress yesterday. We're going to go pick up the crew, get some food at Lawson's really quick, a little snack, and then hit the slopes. It's snowing so much. Look at the snow. I've been hit. We're getting the breakfast right now. I'm getting tuna and egg. Snacks. The fuel before the snowboarding. Ready to board, baby. Happy New Year. This is New Year's Eve. The last day of 2025. I can't believe it. That's what it means to celebrate together. Picking up the rest of the crew. In the mystery van. Happy New Year. Happy New Year to you. It is another beautiful day to go snowboarding. We are de-icing and de-snowing our car because it's been snowing so much, which is beautiful. Look at this. Look at how much snow there is. There's Thera. Maybe you can see her. Now we're just waiting to get our snow gear and we're going to hit the slopes. The rest of the trip was basically the same vibe. Hit Lawson's, hit the slopes, try to get better at snowboarding, do it at night again, and have a couple falls along the way. And you definitely can't leave Japan without eating some ramen. I'm so grateful I had friends to send this trip with and go on my first ever snowboarding trip. This is just the first of the 2026 adventures.
