Summer Fashion for Women 40+ ☀️ Effortless Amazon Outfits That Look So Put-Together

When it comes to summer fashion, I have got you covered. I have 20 of the hottest bottoms for you. And here's my secret as a busy mom of four working full-time. When you have really cute shorts and bottoms to go with a white top, a white tank top, a white t-shirt, a white button-down, you're set. It makes getting ready easy and you always look put together. If you are new here, I am 41 years young. I am 5 foot 7 and I have four children ages 5 through 12 and all these pieces were purchased in a size small. I've been eyeing these shorts up and I finally pulled the trigger. I absolutely love them. They're great for everyday wear. They're also giving me beach vibes, resort wear vibes, everyday vibes. The bottom fringe down here, I absolutely love. So gorgeous. So stunning. Effortless. And you could really pull out some different color combinations with this. You don't have to pair it with a white top. You could do a little bit of the green, the purple, a little bit of the orange. I love these. I'm gonna be wearing these on repeat this summer. These next shorts, I buy one of my favorite brands on Amazon, Ann Rebez. These are just flowy. So effortless. It kind of feels like you're wearing a skirt, but you're not really wearing a skirt. Sort of a paper bag waist here with nice cinched tie detail. And I love all of these shorts. I tend to wear them just below the belly button and then just above that problem area that we ladies often can experience. I love the pockets on this. A little bit different here on the front. And there's also one pocket in the back. These are perfect for dressing up or dressing down. Wear this with white sneakers, a white t-shirt, a white baseball hat. Of course, you don't have to wear white, but I absolutely love white, especially when it comes to summer. It's so crisp and so clean. You could also wear this for a date night. I would put a black lace bodysuit on with this, which would look really cute, or maybe even a black button down. And then you could cuff the sleeves. And I don't know, a lot of possibilities with these. These pink shorts, I absolutely fell in love with them. These are ones that you can definitely dress up or dress down. I love the pleats on the front and the cuffs here on the bottom. There's also loops here so that you could pair it with a belt, which would be absolutely stunning. The waistband is nice and stretchy. So this is great for an elevated look, but again, very casual should you want it to. I love a great black and white pinstripe short, and these just definitely covered all of the bases. I should also note here, if you are new, I have longer legs, so I've been told than the average 5'7 person. So just note that when I'm showing you the clothes here on screen. All these shorts are mom approved. No booty cheeks hanging out. I could wear these to my kid's school. I could wear these to, I don't know, anywhere and feel comfortable. These shorts are so flowy, so effortless. I love the pockets. I love the stretchy waistband on this. This would look great with a white button down, or even just maybe a white cropped t-shirt would look nice. And you could also dress this up and elevate it a little bit more. I know I told you that I love white, but I also love the combination of blue and white. It's giving me east coast vibes, very coastal, very effortless, high end look for less. It sort of has that paper bag top here. It's a cinch waist, but you could also tie it and adjust it. Very functional on that. Great material. It just feels so nice, so effortless. These shorts are gonna be slightly more wrinkle resistant than some other shorts. Great pockets on here. Great length on these. I am definitely wearing these on repeat as well. Nice, flowy, chocolate brown, effortless shorts. Love these. It's kind of like you're wearing loungewear shorts, but because you have this nice ruffle detail here, it really elevates it. It has functional pockets on it. These shorts are fantastic for a nice, hot summer day. You could pair this with some white sneakers, maybe one of your favorite t-shirts. You could also elevate it a little bit more, maybe a top with pattern or design. Polka dots would also look super cute with this. I am obsessed with these next shorts. They are a little bit longer, which is fun, and I love the detail here on the bottom. Look at how pretty that is. I can't even believe that these are on Amazon and for the price point that they are. Nice, stretchy waist here. These do come in multiple color options. I love these. I'm just obsessed with summer clothing because it just makes life so much easier, so effortless. You have a nice pair of shorts or a skort that you want to put on, and then a t-shirt. Just something up top that you're going to feel airy and effortless with. I mean, how many times can I say effortless in this video? That's how I feel when it comes to summer fashion. You want to look good, put together. Love these. You can never go wrong with a great pair of jean shorts, and I love these. In fact, I envision wearing these again on repeat this summer. I know there's only so many things that you can wear. I do tend to wear more clothes during the summertime because it can be a little bit cooler in the morning, and then maybe much hotter in the afternoon, and then maybe you're going out to the lake, or you're going out to the beach, or you're going out to dinner somewhere and sitting on a patio where it's nice and fun. Then again, I'd probably change for that. So my clothes tend to get a little bit more love in the summer than in other months, but back to these shorts. I love them. I love the detail. I love the cuff. Very comfortable, very stretchy all at the same time. These next shorts, these pink and white gingham shorts, plaid shorts, are a number one best seller. Now, what I'm showing you wearing them with is not what I would wear it typically with. I would just put a t-shirt with this, probably an oversized white t-shirt, and a white pair of sneakers, and a white baseball hat. But they are a number one best seller, and they do come in multiple color options. This is something that I would throw on when I'm going for a quick walk in the morning. If you're walking your dog, you're grabbing the mail. Just kind of, you know, very comfy, casual. You can even wear this for sleepwear. Now, I wouldn't necessarily, outside of those things, probably wear these shorts out and about because they definitely are boxer-esque type shorts, if you will. I mean, we used to wear these types of shorts all the time in high school, but at the age of 41, these are just going to be for, like, lounging, running a quick errand, just totally dressing down kind of vibes, if you know what I mean. I love these white shorts. You know, I love my white. It has the beautiful eyelid details, little flowers here, if you can see. Nice, fun ruffles here. Stretchy waistband. This would be great for dressing up. You could wear this to an event, a baby shower, any sort of celebration. I know so many celebrations are going on this summer, and white is wonderful when it comes to hot weather because you're going to stay a little bit cooler for longer. And these are a nice material, so if you are wearing a nude underwear undergarment, which I would recommend, you're not going to be able to see your underwear through them, so that's wonderful. Another pair of blue and white. I love the material on these. They just feel flowy. I love how these shorts feel on the body. They have that sort of paper bag waist, which I love. Just fits you in all the right places, if you know what I mean. Drawstring waist, nice and stretchy. Love this. Also going to be living this. I'm also thinking about, you know, 4th of July coming up. I love me a good blue and white combination, not just for the 4th, but all summer long. Oh my word, when I put on these shorts, I was in love. I'm like, this is it. I'm so excited about these. I want to tell everybody about them. This looks like a skirt, but it's definitely short, very flowy. You can really dress up these shorts, but you can also make them more casual should you want to. You could do a white crop top, a white tennis shoe, a white pump. You could even do a wedge sandal, a ballet flat. So cute. You've seen these before, but these are in an alternative color. Now, I can't remember offhand if these are by the same brand. I actually, they are not by the same brand. This is by New Loin. This is a brand that is new to me. This is by Dockatoo, which I purchased so many pieces from their brand because they just have excellent quality, lots of color options. These are almost identical, but I feel like the pink is probably a little bit longer. Yeah, the pink is a little bit longer than this apricot khaki one here, but I mean both really, really great quality. If you're looking for a lounge short, these are it. This is by the brand. I think it's called Ododos or Autodos. I don't exactly know how you pronounce it, but I purchased a lot of their items because they're just really, really great quality. I don't know. What do you think? How do you think this is pronounced? O-D-O-D-O-S. These are also 82% cotton. The quality and material on these is very on par with Lululemon and Aloe. I've purchased jackets from them. I've purchased zip-up jackets and pants, shorts, you name it. Now these are on the shorter side, so these would definitely be a lounge short for me. These pinstripe shorts, I love these. These ones you can definitely elevate. I see myself wearing a white button-down with this or even just like a black t-shirt or a black tank top. I would probably wear like a wedge sando, but you could also do a ballet flat. I think that would look really nice. These would be awesome for a summer date night, and I just love a beautiful pinstripe short. Now it kind of looks more gray. I'm going to call this gray and white. It's nice and stretchy here on the back, but it looks totally chic here on the front. So many possibilities when it comes to these shorts. They feel like boxer shorts, but they're not giving me that boxer short vibe, if you know what I mean, and they also have functional pockets. Now this next one is actually a skirt. This is the only skirt in the collection that I'm showing you here today. It has the zip here on the side, and then it has sort of this faux wrap, if you know what I mean. This bow here is more of a decorative bow, which I like because then you don't have to monkey with trying to, you know, get the tie just right around your waist, and is it sitting nice and whatnot. This is so, so cute. This is giving me resort beachwear vibes, perfect date night vibes, depending upon where you're going. I mean, you could really wear a really cute heel with this, a fun little top, and I love this color combination. It's absolutely classic. These army green shorts, I've been seeing them all over the interwebs. I had to get them. Nice cuff here on the bottom, also great length. We have that sort of paper bag-esque waist. It does have a functional tie here on the waist, and buttons down the front. Excellent pockets. I love this color. I love pairing this with white. These are shorts that you could certainly make more dressy, if you have a special event coming on, depending upon the shoes and the top that you pair it with, and your accessories and your jewelry. But again, you could also make this super casual. That's what I love about almost all these pieces. Effortless brown, chocolate brown shorts. Now these are more elevated than ones that I previously showed you. These are by the brand Anne Robest. Great quality here. Love the pockets. These are also a pair of shorts that I'm going to find myself gravitating to more in my closet than some other pieces, because if I don't want to think about having to get ready, I'm going to grab these shorts. I'm going to grab a simple top, a cute pair of wedge sandals, which is my favorite thing to wear in the summer, because they elongate the leg, but they're also very comfortable. Only two more bottoms, and I have to say, I'm obsessed with both of these. I love the color. I love this color combination. It's sort of this burnt orange, a really dark blue, very comfortable, very flowy. Can look like a skirt, but it's actually a pair of shorts. Nice, stretchy waistband. Simple top, up top, and these bottoms, and you're set. Perfect for a date night. Perfect for a lunch. Perfect for even just running errands. This last pair of shorts, these are so stinging fun. They make me want to go on a vacation or resort somewhere. Yet again, love the color combination. I love the floral print. Very popular right now, and this beautiful blue color here with this sort of orange, tomato orange, nice, stretchy waistband with a bow here on the front. I love how this feels on the body. Very lightweight, which is exactly what you want when it comes to summer fashion.
