Soft contemporary apartment by vismit architects. | Architecture & Interior Shoots | Cinematographer

This residence was designed for the Shah family at Prestige Westwoods, Bangalore, with a focus on soft contemporary aesthetics, functional living, and Vastu considerations. Thoughtful civil modifications were undertaken to enhance spatial efficiency—extending the kitchen and reducing the utility area to better accommodate the dining space, resulting in a larger, more open, and well-ventilated living area. Curved walls were introduced to create a seamless spatial flow, while textured finishes were used selectively to highlight feature walls and add subtle depth. In the guest bedroom, partial wall openings and a sliding partition improve natural light and ventilation, allowing the space to flexibly functional as either a guest room or a gaming room. Overall, fluid forms, layered textures, and warm lighting come together to create a cohesive living experience that balances comfort, functionality, and understated elegance across the living, dining, and bedroom spaces.
