AI GeneratedThe speaker shares their positive experience in a pharmaceutical science course focused on nanomedicine. They highlight the multidisciplinary curriculum, the blend of academic and industry expertise, and the practical hands-on laboratory work. The supportive environment and modern technological resources have prepared them for a future career and potential PhD studies.
So I decided to apply for this course here because I wanted to enhance my knowledge
towards the development of nanomedicines. There is a good balance between biology and chemistry
so that provides us with in-depth knowledge of drug discovery. I want to expand my knowledge
in terms of more specialized field in pharmaceutical science. One of the most
interesting aspects of the course for me was the expertise of the professors that come both from
industry and academia. I really enjoy working with my classmates, especially in the laboratory.
It was the first chance for me as a student to prepare a drug. So it was interesting,
we spent one week to prepare some drug and finally we got an antiseptic drug.
So these iPads and laptops were provided and by using this we could use a lot of different
softwares and applications by which we could design our own drug molecules.
I really enjoy the environment especially when I got some problem and I cannot solve with them
and I can ask for my classmates for help. They are friendly to newcomers like for me
international students and they are very helpful. It really broadens our vision on the scientific
job market and what can we do in our future careers. The program of studying is very
effective because we're not just studying lectures, we try to apply what we study
through the coursework. Now I'm thinking of doing PhD over here so after I get the, I mean after I
get PhD I might work a little bit over here and then I might go back and then try to do something
for my own country. It is a very good course because of all the multidisciplinary aspects
and also scientific and non-scientific aspects that it gives and how it prepares us for a job.
