How's everyone doing out there? I hope you're coping in this sun, this heat.
God, it's stifling isn't it? It's about 27 degrees here,
up in the north of England, in Cumbria. Anyway, I've been shopping. I've been to Morrison's.
I've got some for a barbecue, perhaps. Come and have a look what I got.
I seen this summer edition, the best, on Market Street.
Four quarter pound of burgers, British beef, that's good.
Made with succulent prime cuts of British chuck and brisket.
Seasoned with sea salt and cracked black pepper for intense flavour.
454 grams, we have a little traffic light system there.
Gluten free, red tractor certified beef. Best before 4th of June.
Now if you've got local butchers, please go and support them.
I seen these in Morrison's, like I said. They were £5.25, yeah.
So, let's take a closer look at the packaging.
Yeah, if you're feeling a bit flush, go and treat yourself.
So, it's a GB sticker there, that denotes the meat is Great Britain, British.
Four quarter pound of burgers, beef burgers.
Seasoned with red, with, with salt and, with red.
With salt and pepper, right, glasses, need me glasses.
That's better, I've got them on. Oh, that's a lot better.
So, there's the ingredients there. We've got beef 48%, beef chuck 30%.
We've got beef brisket 17%.
Metabisulfite is the allergen.
Ingredients in bowl, we've got some more nutrition there.
How to cook, cooking appliances vary of course.
These instructions are given as a guide.
Do not reheat, air fry from chilled.
You can barbecue.
Warning, caution, do not overfill the air fryer.
Now we've got a bit of safety, got a bit of how to store there, look.
Yeah, I think I've covered everything.
If I do miss anything out, it'll all be on in the description of this video.
Yeah, there's a serving suggestion, look.
Is that, is that lettuce?
Some healthy vegetables and a tomato.
Right, let's get them open, see what we've got.
So, we've got a grand total of 95% beef, these are.
Yeah, so let's do the seal peel test.
These should be doubly, doubly packed because they're fresh.
They're not frozen, yeah, it's not coming off great.
Because they're doubly sealed, it's difficult to get off.
So, I'll just get that one out.
That's what you get, look.
That's how thick they are.
Right, let's get them cooking.
Do mine in the air fryer.
170 degrees on air fry for, it says between 12 and 15 minutes.
They all vary, so you just play it by ear.
Make sure you've got a thermometer just to check them if you like to do that.
It's up to you though.
I've got my bun in the toaster.
I'm toasting my bun.
So, they're done, there they are.
Let me see if I can get a bit of better light for you.
That's them there, look.
So, they didn't take long at all.
Was it about 11 minutes at 170 in the air fryer?
Turned them halfway through.
There's loads and loads of fat come out of them as well.
Yeah, quite a lot of fat come out of them.
So, I've gone a bit mad.
I did toast my bun, like I said earlier.
I've got some ketchup and mustard.
So, I've got some lettuce as well.
I'll put that on.
I've got some tomatoes.
I'm going mad here, aren't I?
What's that?
A little fly?
Get away though.
Get away, fly.
Time of the year, isn't it?
It's red hot out there.
I've got some onion as well.
I do like some raw onion on my burger.
And do you know what?
We've run out of cheese.
Can you believe it?
We've run out of cheese.
I'll put that on there and I'll put that on top.
I have to go and get some.
So, there it is, look.
Yeah, right.
Let's try it with this one.
I'll cut it in half and we'll have a look.
Oops, that's me.
We'll have a look inside and I'll show you inside.
Goodness me, that nearly had me toe off.
Health and safety.
Some steel tow tractors.
That's inside there, look.
What a calamity.
Yeah, right.
I'll try it.
Contamination, what's going on?
I'm all over the shop.
I'll try it first and then I'll try it in its bun.
Like that chef out of the Muppet Show.
Did you watch that?
That chef in the Muppet Show
with his throwing his stuff around everywhere.
Classic.
Classic entertainment when you're young.
Absolutely classic.
Why don't they put stuff like that on anymore?
So, let's try this.
This should be good.
95% beef.
And thanks for subscribing and thanks for watching.
I do appreciate it.
Can't ask for any more than that.
I do thank you.
It's beefy.
It is.
It's moist as well and it's quite dense.
It's quite dense but it's quite moist.
I think I did it just the right time in the air fryer.
It's well seasoned.
Picking up that black pepper.
Apologise, talking with my mouth full.
But it is tasty.
It is tasty.
It's got a nice flavour to it.
Fatty.
Dense.
Moist.
Pepper.
Beefy.
It's lovely.
Right, let's try it how it's supposed to be tried.
Oh, cheese!
I mean, you stick bacon in there as well if you wanted to.
Let me finish this.
Oh, that is good.
That is good.
That's a good burger.
Made it even better myself.
What a difference.
Just some onion, tomatoes and even a bit of lettuce.
Some ketchup and mustard.
The texture off the bun is lovely because it gives it another texture.
The crispy texture of the underneath.
Yeah, it's lovely.
It's lovely.
The burger is actually quite moist and juicy and beefy.
It's tasty.
It is.
I'm going in again.
Please let me finish this.
Oh, that was good.
I dare say if you get it on a barbecue, they're not frozen, they're fresh.
They'll have the barbecue flavor coming off as well.
You have to watch the flames, though, because there's a lot of fat come out
and you'll have them flame grilled.
Well, that's a good thing.
Very nice.
Very tasty, yeah.
Yeah, they score high.
They score 9 out of 10.
In fact, I'm going to go 9.5 out of 10.
They are tasty.
But I do say if you have got local butchers as bakers and greengrocers,
go and support them.
If you're lucky enough to have them on your doorstep, you know, go and support them.
But like I say, these are available in our supermarkets nationwide.
And that's why I do these reviews.
It's not a cooking channel.
It's not a healthy eating channel.
There are other YouTubers out there who do all that.
I review food from our supermarkets.
I have to say that because people in the comments just
don't think they understand the channel or grasp it.
And I know it must be frustrating, you know, when they say,
oh, make your own, make your own.
But yeah, I wouldn't have a channel if I did that all the time, would I?
I review food from our local supermarkets anyway.
I hope you're enjoying the sun wherever you're doing.
I hope you're having a good one.
I hope the sun is shining on you wherever you are.
Thanks for watching and subscribing.
I can't thank you enough.
Please give the video a thumbs up.
That does help.
And if you've got any recommendations, please keep your recommendations coming in.
You can put a picture of whatever you want on my community, on my front page.
Post the picture if you've seen it.
And you can, or just get through, leave a comment and I'll get back to you.
And if you're on Instagram and Facebook, you can send me a message on there.
I'm on there as well as Bold Foodie Guy.
So I'm going to get out in the garden now.
We had a pool day yesterday.
We've got the pool out.
It's like 27 degrees.
We've had it five years.
That was an investment, a good investment, that pool.
And the kids love it.
It's all about the kids, isn't it?
It's all about the kids, garden fun with the kids, with my nippers.
So take care, all the best.
And happy barbecuing.
