Mexico vs Australia - Match Highlights - International Friendly

In the last few weeks of the season, all as Harrington can't get there. Referee, Ernesto Vazquez sees nothing untoward there. And that's a good ball for Mouture in a clear foul. What is legal about this? And the arm from the captain, Edson Alvarez, dragging Mouture back. It's Metcalf that goes towards Souter, down towards Harrington. The shot from Jackson Irvine looking to mark his return. It's his first appearance for the Soporos in 2026. That's the danger he represents. Oh, as the glancing header from Vega is tipped over by Matt Ryan. And that is the first real clear cut chance of the evening. Delivery with Pace again. Good header off the post and in. Oh, it's come from a set piece. But Matt Ryan has been beaten. It was played in at pace and the header, I think it's Yohan Vazquez. There's a little ball near post helped on. Well, how close was that from Guillermo Martinez after it was flicked on by Romo? Little ball over the top. Oh, the mistake and Mouture. He's put it wide. What a huge chance. Mouture, who's been an outstanding scoring form for Norwich. Well, he won't get an easier chance to score in North America this summer. Aiden O'Neill now looking back post. Soutar is there. The nod down to Ray. That was a better effort. Irvine with the follow up. Good challenge. The shot. Good effort. Well, this is a bright start to the second half from the Socceroos and Guillermo Ochoa immediately called into action. Kai Truen first touch for the New York City man. It's a great ball as well for Rustic. What a chance for the Socceroos. Aiden Rustic with his first touch of the football should have equalized. It's taken short with Rustic. He delivers. Good ball in. Excellent defending as well from Montez. And it's all over. Australia can't score from a corner to level it out, having conceded the only goal of the game. Mexico won. Australia nil.
