Hey, welcome to Canva Design School.
We're sharing our favorite tips from our newest launches.
Come check it out.
And camera is rolling.
Hi, my name is Julie.
Hello, I'm Tom.
Hi, I'm Camilla.
I'm Joel.
I'm Belle.
I'm Beau, a Senior Brand Designer here at Canva.
And I'm here to talk to you about my favorite latest launch.
It's Decorate My Design.
Let's take a look.
So on the one right here, my type is set up really nicely.
But I need to add some other elements.
To kind of speed up this process, I'm just going to select the background of the design
and go to Edit.
There under the Tools, we've got a few different options.
And I'm just going to go to Decorate.
This brings up a prompt box.
And so I'm just going to type in 3D Summer Objects and hit Generate.
Awesome.
So it's given me four different options to choose from.
So I think I'm going to choose this one.
The great part is that this has just populated them onto my design.
I can still go in and edit them and resize and even change some colors.
Amazing.
That's just saved me so much time.
So now I can continue to experiment with some new designs.
Or I could just scoot.
Let me show you something that's been saving me heaps of time.
Instead of spending ages trying to find the perfect graphic that fits the rest of your design,
we can generate something that matches perfectly.
Pick from 18 different styles.
We'll let Canva AI read the design and match the vibe for you.
You just open the Elements tab.
Type what you're after in the search bar.
Hit the plus.
Choose styles and pick one.
We want pixel art.
Click Generate.
Drop it into your existing elements and watch it click into place.
And that's it.
No more hunting for the perfect graphic.
So I've got this awesome image.
Watch me put it in motion with AI video effects.
Head to Templates, then AI Video Effects.
Just hover over any effect to preview it.
When you find one you like, click Add Image and upload your photo.
Or grab one from your Canva uploads.
Then hit Create with AI.
Give it a beat to render.
It takes a minute, but it's worth the wait.
Once it's ready, open it in the editor or download to share.
We've gone from a photo to an entire video.
Say you need to print last minute and don't want to deal with downloading as a PDF.
Open them and then printing them.
Try this instead.
Open a design you wanted to print.
Go to File.
Select Print.
Then Use My Printer.
Or you can Share, then See All, then Use My Printer.
The first time you do this, you get a prompt.
Just choose Use My Printer.
Now pick your printer from the list.
Customize the setting.
Then print.
And done.
Check it out.
My favorite feature from Canva Create this year has to be 3D Elements.
It's super, super easy to use and it looks awesome.
So let me show you how we do it.
Go to the Elements tab on the left-hand side.
And in the prompt box at the top, type in your prompt.
I am going to type Cute Animal Holding a Puzzle.
And then under Generate, select the drop-down menu and click 3D.
So as you can see, we've got a bunch of cute little animals.
I quite like this bottom right here.
You just click and drag onto your design.
The thing I love about the 3D objects is that you can click and drag this middle icon here.
Change the angle of it.
I think that looks kind of cool on a bit of an angle like that.
As you can see, super, super easy.
And totally, we think you all should try it at home.
My favorite new tip is working offline.
Canva designs are now available offline.
So when you're headed somewhere with patchy Wi-Fi,
you can keep designing even when your connection drops out.
All you have to do is when you're online, go into the design that you want to take with you.
Hit the cloud and click make available offline.
That way, whatever changes you make will be saved by the time you get back on.
This is an absolute lifesaver for people who are always traveling.
And that's why it's my favorite new feature.
Of course, we do.
