The narrator shares a travel vlog from Romania, documenting a transition from a peaceful stay at Camp La Balta toward the Transylvanian mountains. The journey includes a visit to the mysterious Hoia Baciu forest, encounters with local rural life, and a drive toward the town of Marisel, blending nature exploration with personal anecdotes about travel challenges.
Let's see if there are some panorama activities in this forest.
Another day, another opportunity.
I'm staying here at Camp La Balta, which is in this place.
And I've been staying here for a few days now, just resting and fixing a lot of stuff.
So, this is more the port to the Transylvania mountains.
So, I'm heading there and explore all that area.
Pretty slowly, I hope.
The weather seems to be perfect, so I'll be good with that.
So, right now I had breakfast and I've been packing up all my stuff here.
And here is my duty.
So, we are packing and packing and packing.
This camp is super beautiful, I'm so happy that I could stay here.
Because a lot of campings in Romania has been closed and I couldn't find any place to stay.
More or less in Poland as well, the whole way down Europe.
So, I'm really thankful to be able to stay here.
Great camping, you should definitely come here.
Yeah, the last few days I've been sitting here, working in my computer.
I've been visiting some waterfalls, some caves.
And yeah, I went for a little hike over like just a kilometer from here.
It's a beautiful mountain.
And then the owner of the place came with his ATV, so we took a trip up to a really nice viewpoint with his ATV.
So, thank you for that, that was great.
Okay, let the journey continue!
Bye-bye beautiful camping spot, La Balta.
This car is so cold.
Old Romanian car from, I don't know, 60s or something.
That golden gate, hey, wow.
Okay.
My headphones stopped working.
Because it's been like 50 seconds since I left Sweden.
First I started with AirPods, and I dropped two of them.
The second pair just isn't working proper, I guess.
This one stopped working as well.
Okay, so that's why I'm going to this store.
I'm going to the store by myself.
I can't find any.
I could find them, but they are very expensive.
Okay, I just arrived to the forest.
The forest is called Hoia Basiu.
And yeah, there's no one here, it's only me.
So, they say there are some panorama activity in this forest.
There are many stories about things happening here.
One of them was that a farmer with his 300 kip or 200 kip went into the forest and never came out again.
Second was that a little girl, yeah, it was a little girl who went into the forest in the 60s or something.
And after five years, she came out from the forest again.
With the same clothes.
And she didn't age anything.
People get bruises, scars, and get high fever and headache when they come in here.
I don't know if that's true or anything, but super interesting in a way.
It's a beautiful forest.
And whatever is going on here, please leave me alone.
That's some big Romanian flag hanging there.
Wow, it's huge.
Okay, we're gonna leave the city and we're gonna go out where I belong, into nature.
There's a tractor there with a lot of hay on, but it's taking up almost the whole road.
There are trucks that can't pass.
I must be sweaty for the farmer.
It's nice to see how they work together.
We have the lollipop man there in construction, he's standing there and waving.
Then we have a local standing there and waving as well.
And some other guys.
And, et voila, it works.
Let's continue.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, have a look.
Ay, ay, ay.
Ale, ale, it's beautiful.
Beautiful horse, oh, you are so beautiful.
It's like traveling back in time, I love it.
Taking a travel machine, you go back.
Ah, so amazing.
It is getting colder here now, so I need to get dressed a little bit more.
Maybe I'm, I don't know, 800 meters, 600 meters or something above the sea level.
You can feel it.
I sort of like it though, because it was very sweaty down there.
And as I'm from the Swedish Lappland, I'm not used to that heat, you know.
So this is more normal for me.
Yeah.
I'm in a town called something like Marisel or Maribel, right up here.
Super pretty, super pretty place.
Come here if you go to Romania.
I will try to find a camping spot soon, I think.
I don't know how much longer I will go.
We will see.
Onion and pepper.
So I have 50 minutes to go until the camp.
And then I will relax and do my thing.
What's your name?
You're so cute.
My god, I just want to hug you, but you're so dirty.
Alright guys, this day wasn't that long, honestly.
It was supposed to be much more kilometers, but I didn't.
I still love you so much.
Oh my god.
Can I take you home?
Yeah, anyway.
Tomorrow I will continue my adventure on the ACT track.
So I will continue here.
I think this guy wants to cuddle.
So take care and I see you soon.
