Hunting Every Bear in Hunter Call of the Wild!

In this video we're going to be playing hunter call the wild and hunting down every single bear in the game. We'll start our journey in the yukon valley hunting down the elusive and deadly alaskan grizzly. From there we'll be moving to a few different maps to hunt down black bears all across the country and finally hunting across europe and asia for the brown bear. This will be the biggest bear we will be targeting and we'll need some of the biggest weapons to take it down. Plus i'm going to be throwing in an extra species which although it may not be classified as a bear to me i still think it has a place on this list. So without further ado we're going to alaska and we're going bear hunting. And that brings us to right here welcome to one of my favorite maps yukon valley and man does it look sweet. And on this particular map there's all kinds of animals i'm talking moose i'm talking bison wolves and a ton more but in this video we're focusing on the meanest the grizzly bear. And yes they will hunt you and they will kill you. Looks like the first animal we see is actually a big old moose pretty sick but it's a female and it's just out here drinking water. Way over there looks like we see some more moose. I don't think i see a bull well that one's a bull but it's a very small bull. Still not a grizzly not what we're looking for. Right now we're kind of in the center of the map kind of just a big open spot where you can see a lot. And as cool as this is i've seen wolves here i've been killed by wolves here you know it's whatever. I've not actually seen grizzly bears here so we're going to need to move locations completely and we're probably going to go down to the river to do so. If you don't know a lot of grizzly bears actually spend quite a bit of time down by the water because they're really good at catching fish. You can even see in this clip right here of grizzly bears standing in the creek and catching salmon jumping upstream. And as soon as i get in here and make sure we have the right weapons we're going to be going to a place pretty much just like that. Clear the inventory we're going to need some big stuff. Yeah yeah a rifle that's awesome we'll figure that out in a minute but just in case things get crazy things get close i need a gun that i can have ready. And these right here are some of our options of the sidearms. This one is one of my favorite it's a 10 millimeter 15 round magazine and it'll shoot as fast as you can but it's not the most powerful and if it really comes down to a grizzly i want something with a little more power. This is the one i'm looking for right here it's a schnurdenberg 454 and it shoots a 454 casoul. Let's get a rifle. We gotta have a big one. Out of all the big animals in this game i'm talking moose, bison, even a yak. Grizzly bear, black bear, and especially brown bear are some of the biggest that you're truly going to need power for. It wasn't long ago in a recent video i was out hunting grizzly bears in the same exact spot we're going here in a minute. Not only did i kill one but i was also attacked by another one in the same moment. It was crazy and i didn't know if i was going to make it out but i did. Alright i'm done messing around i'm going straight to it. We're going with the 375. This thing is a tank and it holds four rounds just in case you get in a sticky situation. But we're going to make this interesting because at least one of these bears i will be killing with a Stenberg recurve bow. Crazy. I know. And that is our loadout. I'm gonna go ahead and solidify these last few things make sure i have binoculars and then we're heading out to the river. We're gonna be looking and trying to get close to a big old grizzly. Wish me luck. Probably gonna need it. Good morning. Welcome to the show. Let me look down there. We can see i believe we can see the water. We are going to be heading straight down this way. This is a big old river system. This is actually the Hanson river basin actually. That's where we're going to be hunting. We're going to be hunting this whole big thing but really you can see i've done some damage. There's still blood on the map. Okay i've seen some big old grizzly here and there was one big grizzly. I didn't even get it. It got away. I know he's here. I'm going for him. That's what i want to do. We got to do it bright and early. There's the Kentucky flag. Let's roll on out boys. Let's get it. Now guys i don't really know. We are actually hunting public land so you know that's one thing i like to do. It's always a challenge. Public land hunting. We may end up seeing people. I just want to let you know if we end up seeing people don't get too worried. It's okay. I'll try my best not to shoot them and also guys as we are getting down to the closer to there goes a stinky caribou. No no no no. Was that a melanistic caribou? Was that a melanistic caribou? That's the biggest one i'd ever seen. Dude we got to get on him. I don't even think i spooked him. I think a grizzly did. Hold on. Dude that's a crazy big caribou. Is he melanistic? Oh and just like that he disappeared. What a caribou thing to do. Where are you going North Pole? Ridiculous. Anyways guys if we hunt down the five deadliest caribou we'll be coming back here. But what i was gonna say before that is once we start getting down close to the water we need to start we need to keep our voices down. We need to watch where we step and just keep it to a whisper. One we don't want to spook the grizzlies but another one we don't really want to let them know where we're at as that could be you know pretty bad for us if they decide to be hunting and if they decide to hunt us. So oh snap. Yeah we may be close boys. We may be close. I just found the insides. I just found the insides of something. Oh my gosh that's fresh. Keep your eyes open. Keep your eyes up. Oh we found them. We found them. Get down. Get down. Get down. Did they see us? I don't know. I'm gonna get over in this bush before I stand up. All right guys we just spotted two big grizzlies. Big grizzlies. Our wind looks pretty good. We're over here pretty hidden. There they are. Yeah. Oh my goodness. Look at the weight estimate. That one estimated to potentially be over a thousand pounds whereas that one's a female. It's smaller. Maybe up to 600. That guy's probably over a thousand pounds and you can see just how tanky he is. We're only 125 yards away so we got to make sure we don't make much noise and make sure that he doesn't see us which right now he's drinking water and I tell you what I'm going to do before I actually do anything. I'm going to take a look at the rest of this pond. Take a rest look at this little whatever whatever you call that water. See if there ain't another one. Maybe there's one closer. I can't tell you how many times I've seen an animal far away be so occupied in him and then spook another one that was right beside of me. You know we could have a 2,000 pound one right beside of me and if I'm not looking I wouldn't know. Get out of the way Jamal. You're gonna get you're gonna blow her cover. I'll tell you this though. I wouldn't be surprised if there's one we end up going after. Oh my gosh he's broadside. He's broadside for us. He kind of acts like he wants it. He kind of acts like he wants to die. Those are footprints of that bear that we're looking at so it shows that he went that way. I tell you. Oh he's attentive. He's attentive. If he goes broadside again I think I'll probably let him have it. He's attentive. That means he knows we're here. If he'll go perfectly broadside I think I'll take it with the .375. That is a big bear. Geez. He's attentive again. He's attentive. He's attentive. If he goes alert we have to shoot. That one still doesn't know we're there though but this one does. If he goes alert we gotta shoot but I'd really like to have a broadside shot but I don't know if we're gonna be able to get it if he's gonna stand like that. Oh get down. Get down. Get down. I can't believe I stood up. I didn't mean to stand up. We're gonna make a move. What if we do this with the bow and arrow? Would we be crazy if I do this with the bow and arrow? Here I gotta get in this tree. If I can get in this tree without the bear knowing I'm there we're gonna be pretty good. Guys we might just make this happen. I can't believe we just started the morning. This is our first hunt and we've already located two good grizzly bears. One of which a lot bigger than the first and we saw like a black caribou. What? Guys I'm gonna stand up in this tree. He's calm. He's 95 yards. Dang that is a long shot. I think that if we slowly creep up, get to the edge of the water, get the bow out, stand up, draw back, shoot the arrow across. That's gonna be a sick shot and it's actually gonna be a pretty safe shot because in order for the bear to come straight at us he's gonna have to go in the water and that'll give me time to shoot him again. I don't know if he's smart enough to run around the water to come eat us so this might be a pretty good option. Especially since we are covering ground right now but it's public land and that's one thing I'm a little bit worried about. I've been watching the bottom of screen. We bet we've had people enter the reserve. Right now we got someone right over here which is just across the water from where we are here. The thing is if he shoots something that could could disturb this bear. That's what I'm saying. Then we got another hunter. He's way over here. I'm not too worried about him. We got another hunter up there. It's a good wolf spot. Hopefully he don't die. If we see his dot stop flashing, probably he probably got eaten by wolves but we'll keep an eye on that. I am just a little worried about this guy. He's not moved in a little bit. I wonder if he's up to something. Maybe he's up to no good. Let's keep on going. Let's see if we can smoke this guy. That's the thing about public land though. You really never know. You really can't control who comes and that's okay. I kind of like that. We're 69 yards. If we can get 67 yards, I think it's a I'm gonna go ahead and get my. Oh I forgot I had the recurve. I didn't think I had the recurve. I thought I had my compound. All right guys. We're just. I thought I had a better bow than this but we're okay. It's gonna force me to stand up. There we go. I'm smoking it. Oh. Oh. Shooters. Shooters. Cuz. In the head. In the head. No it's getting away. It's getting away. Shoot it. Get the gun. Shoot it. Oh I shot that and into the dirt. I shot that and into the dirt. Yeah that one's gone. That one's gone. I cannot believe. Oh there goes something. Big black caribou. Popped him. Black caribou down. Let's stink and go. And you know we may need to go check in on that other one because I think I. Roll the replay on the second shot. I might have shot that bear in the head. I'm not quite sure. With a bow and arrow, that's not what you're wanting to do. Sometimes it happens. Let's take a loader bear baby. A gold. Let's go. Grizzly bear off the list. That is a really good grizzly bear. Ended up weighing eleven. Almost twelve hundred pounds and man he wasn't too far off from a diamond. What a shot too. I think I clipped the top of his heart. Probably why he went down so fast. 68 yard shot. I was looking for it to be 67 but it's okay. I'll let it slide. Big old paws and honestly big old head. That's a really good one. I like that. I'm happy. All right. I want to get this black caribou because I don't know if they're black or if they're just melanistic. We'll find out. They may just be dark. It may just be the colors kind of dark. I shot him with a really big gun. Not a bad caribou. He actually would have been a gold. Well shoot dude. If this thing would have been a gold. What do you think about that one we saw real earlier in the day? And then honestly I'm looking at the thing. I don't think that other grizzly had any problem. So I think we're just gonna roll on out. I think we're leaving. I think we are heading on to the next location. I think for this next location we're gonna be going right in about we're gonna we're gonna go for black bears. We're gonna go right around that Idaho. Maybe a little bit of Utah. I think we're going for black bears baby. Let's go get them. And here we are guys. Believe it or not we ended up going to Colorado. So we didn't actually go to Utah or Idaho but we ended up sailing on Colorado. It was a like three hour shorter drive. So we was like let's just do that. I was like okay I don't care that much. We're just going for bears. There's bears all over. Anyways here we are. This is a pretty sweet place and we are looking for the second bear on our list. The black bear. Give me some baby. Give me some. Yeah. Out there we got some mule deer though. Mule deer. Wow an animal I don't get to see that often. For whatever reason I don't feel like I get to see mule deer that often. And you know what we might actually take this opportunity to take one. Let me look at their trajectory. If it looks like they're going to be walking right past me. That one doesn't look like a small one. So I may end up taking it if I can figure out a way to. If I can figure out a way to get right out in front of them. Oh nope they saw me. Nope that one done a mating call. What kind of weapon do I have that might be able to shoot this? Yeah they may have seen. I don't know if they saw me or what. But yeah that back one ain't bad at all. What is that? Someone else is spotting them. Oh my gosh who is that guy? Ain't no way he's about to shoot one with a shotgun. Okay wait a minute. Hold up. I was I was gonna shoot that one. I was here first. I created the map. There's no way this is about to happen. No way. He shot that one. He shot it. He's not even gonna go pick it up. Who is this guy? Oh my goodness. I just got here. Public land. Are you serious? Yeah he killed like three. Oh my goodness. Well either way here we are. I guess we're hunting black bears. Welcome to public land Colorado. Should have known when I was coming here. Crazy. Anyways one good thing about this map is that I actually have a few tents set up on very strategic bear hunting positions. So you know what we might be able to actually get up here and actually see some black bears fast. And I think since it is black bears I'll go ahead and kill some or kill multiple. Because we should actually have a pretty good chance of seeing a bunch. There goes a cougar. A mountain lion. That was cool. See if we're looking for bear. Oh oh my goodness. There's a whole herd of them. Wow okay. Oh there goes a bear. But the mountain lion spooked the bear. And there goes another bear and it's already fleeing too. Hmm the bears are afraid of the mountain lion. Interesting. Well I didn't really think that would happen. No problem. Let's head on over to another spot. This next spot's pretty good. Got a lot of black bears. All right let's take a look and see what we can see. And there's another guy. And he killed a black bear. He killed two black bear. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. This was one of my favorite bear hunting spots. Where's he going? Did he kill three? I just show up and there's two black bears dead. There's an elk. There's like a white elk. And there's a little black bear. Oh my goodness. I'm surprised that one ain't dead. Where did he go? He didn't even pick up that black bear. He just zoomed somewhere else. Or is that my bear? No no. I didn't shoot a bear though. It can't be my bear. Whose bear is that? Whenever I came to public land I didn't think he'd be like that. No look. Someone just shot it and it died right there. Was it me? No that was the other guy. He shot it. That was a good one. A gold right in the double lung. And then he just left it. Wow. Well now he's over here. Oh my goodness. This is crazy. I don't know what to do. I don't think I've ever been in this position before. Let's go see what he's doing now. He left the bear. Let's go see what else he's killing. Wow. Back in the Alaska public land at least they were spaced out a little more. Here they're just we're shooting everything. All right he's down there. I don't see anything. But is there anything over there? There goes some elk. That's a one's a nice elk too. And it's went plum defensive. I don't even know what that means for an elk. I don't see any bears. But I don't know where he's going. He's going all over the place. Man that's wild ain't it? Wow the public land hunting is tough. All right we're rolling on. We're just gonna let Ninja do whatever he wants. He's got his own bear tags. He knows his own rules. We're gonna go ahead and we're gonna see if we can get us on a big old black bear. This yeah yeah yeah. And we're good. We're good. We got them. We got some. Oh my gosh I think I see five. Oh and we're gonna see if I see those three are females on the left. That one down here on the right's a level seven. That's a good one. And that one's a level three. So there's four females and a seven which is a really good one. That's probably the one we'll try to take. Oh over there's a level three. We're probably gonna let it go too. I really want to I really want to take a closer look at this number seven. This one was pretty sick. This was a big one. Yeah it's right there a level seven. Right now we are 209 yards. Um so far everyone. Oh there's another one. That's a level three. So I do gotta make sure to shoot the bigger black bear. And I'd really really. Oh we gotta watch our wind here. That's something I didn't do. We gotta watch our wind. What I'm gonna do. I'm gonna go down. I'm gonna walk this way. I'm gonna see if I can use a call and actually get him to come towards me. But while I'm making my way closer to the bear. What's, you know, what's on the line here? I was, I'm already here. Ninja is creeping up on me from behind. Okay. Some would even call him an op right now. An op. And I don't know his intentions. Truly. I don't know his intentions. Is he going try to kill the bear too? Or is he just here to support me? Maybe he's here. Maybe he wants to help me scan it. Maybe he wants to help me pack it back to the lodge. My truck. I don't know. Can't tell. Maybe I'll message him and see what he's thinking. Because all I want him, all I want this big bear to do. I'm after the level seven. Oh, he's alert. He's alert. He's, I'm going to talk to him. Stay down. He sees us. And then I'm going to say, what are you doing? State your intentions. He said, okay. He seems chill. He's attentive. I want to know what his intentions are. Are we going to pull out a gun on him? Or is he going to like, is he chill? I don't know. Where's he at? He stopped. He did stop. No, he's crawling. Nevermind. He's low, but he's still moving. I don't know if this is going to be a bow kill. That looks like a pretty tough bow kill. I think I'm going to just have to probably call him once. I'm going to let him know what I'm doing. Actually, I'm going to enlist his help. Maybe you can draw him out and I'll shoot when he clears the grass. Let's see if he wants to be collaborative and help me get this bear. Okay, no problem. All right, let's see if he'll hit it. This could work out perfect. I think Ninja may low-key be a legend, actually. At first, I thought he was going to sneak up and shoot my bear. Let's see if he hits the call. I don't know if we'll be able to hear it. Honestly, I think he hit the call. I think he hit the call because they're traveling. Got him! Got him! Dude, I just spined him. I just spined him. I just spined him. I didn't even know. I was too busy turned around looking at Ninja that I didn't even see him come. Apparently, this bear must have walked right up on me. He had already gotten close to me and I didn't even realize it. That's crazy. That's insane. Let's check him out. I missed the vitals both shots. The first shot ended up being a little bit low, a little bit back, and the second shot was just kind of in the back. Now, he was moving. That was the problem, and if he wasn't moving, he would have been a diamond. No, he would have been a gold. All right, just like that, guys. Whether it happened the way we wanted it to or not, Black Bear is off the list. Now, we're moving into a completely different animal. One that's not technically classified as a bear, but if you got in a fight with one, you may disagree. For this next animal we're going to be hunting, we're not actually going to private land. We're at my uncle's private farming farm, and no one else is allowed to be here. Right now, we're at his castle, but anyways, the critter we're looking for right now, in my book, it's a bear. It looks like a bear, it acts like a bear, and it's mean like a bear. However, they may only be 30 pounds. We're going after a raccoon. That's why we've actually chose Swanesian Park out here in Germany, because this is actually a with raccoons being one of the largest animals on the map, which is kind of wild, but we should be able to find some if we look around. Right there, we look out there, we might actually see a red fox. Yeah, it's alert, which is no problem to us. Should be a bunch of hay bales. We should see some upland bird game, but what we're really here for is the bear. We're here for the raccoon, and really out here in these crop fields is not where we're going to find them. We're actually going to have to head over to some of the wooded area. I think that's probably where we're going to do the best, trying to find us a good raccoon. Now, you may be saying, Oher, you're probably going to switch to like a 22, maybe a 22 Magnum for the raccoon. No, I'm not. No, I'm going to shoot it with 375. I'm going to blow that thing into three pieces. That's what I'm going to do, and I ain't going to think twice about it. If I can get a shot on a raccoon, I'm going to take that shot with whatever I got, and since this isn't public land, we have a lot more freedom. Oh my goodness. Look at all them chickens. Jeez. There's actually a raccoon dog, and believe it or not, that's not the same thing as a raccoon. It's kind of weird, but a raccoon dog is an animal that is not a raccoon or a dog. Weird. I don't know, but anyways, lots of fox. We're going to be moving around some of these trees, and that's probably where we're going to get on the raccoons. Raccoons will come into calls. However, we'll probably just see them and shoot them the way we're going to hunt them. I just heard one go. That's usually a good sight. I might actually shoot one with a pistol if I can get close enough. While these are overall smaller animals, it's also true that you can get closer to them. I'm not sure if I'll be able to spot this guy close. I'm not exactly sure where he is, but wherever he is, my dog Jamal is starting to point on something. I think he's pointing on a raccoon. We got to get ready. I'm going to blow one in half with the .454. That's my goal. Blow a raccoon in half with the .454. Jamal is actually pointing on one. I'm not sure where it's at right now. He said it's fleeing. It's fleeing. I don't think I got it. I'm going to chase it down though. If I can chase it down, I can get a follow-up shot on him. There he goes. There he goes. I didn't get him. Oh, there goes one. I don't think that was a raccoon. I think that may have been a raccoon dog. I'm chasing this one. Good thing they're not the fastest creatures in the world, but they're still faster than me. Oh, there he is. He's getting hung up in the rocks. He's getting hung up in the rocks. You can run all you want, buddy, but I can too. I'll chase you down. I'm surprised this thing ain't trying to kill me because they're mean if they wanted to be. I don't know if I'm going to be honest. I might have just blew my opportunity. Oh, man. I don't know where he is now. That raccoon might have just got away. I think the raccoon definitely just got away. I definitely didn't hit him at all. Well, guys, I don't know if we're going to be able to X that one off the list, but it was definitely worth coming after. I'll give it that. It was definitely worth coming after. Now, we're moving back to public land because now maybe we're not going to public land. I think we're going to Russia for this. I think it's actually common land. We're going to the ice age, boys. Here we are. It's cold outside. I'm putting my hood on. It's cold. I don't really know what to expect here, but we are in the heart of Russia. It's also wintertime. I feel like a big brown bear. Yes, that's what we're after, brown bear. I've heard a lot of things, grizzly bears, brown bears. Well, they're the same thing. Well, I don't make the rules. I don't know. I've never seen either one of them in person. The only bears that I have actual experience with, I don't even know if I've ever seen a grizzly bear, but I have hunted and killed quite a bit of real life black bears, like a lot. I actually have some black bears right outside the window. I'm pretty familiar with black bears, not exactly brown bears or grizzlies. However, one day, that may change. Out here on this big frozen lake, I'm just going to take a quick peek around. I've also got a feeder set up somewhere, so that should be really cool. I do think we should go check on it. I'm just looking at this lake. I've killed a lot of things on the lake. I do know that there are some brown bears and things that they should be right around here somewhere. I'll look around. I don't know. I might see some brown bear or whatnot, but I don't really plan on it. I feel like I can kill a brown bear pretty easily. It's just how do you want to kill it? Yeah, we need to go in here. We need to go over here. We need to hunt close. Guys, I might just have a really good place to hunt brown bear, but we're going to need a little bit different weapon. All right. That's what we're going to do. We're going to be hunting brown bear, or we're going to be hunting brown bear up close. Tie environment, and we're going to be right on top of each other before we see it. While we're still going to be keeping all these originals, we're also going to use the 45-70 because it's a really good up close gun. The way we're going to be hunting this next brown bear, we might just be right on top of it. I'll just say that. This is going to be crazy. All right, guys. We just changed the time. The bear should be feeding out in the woods. I want you to know before we go in, this is serious. Okay. This is not a game. I mean, it is, but it's not. It's dangerous. Let's do it. This is the gun we're taking, the 45-70 iron sights. We're going to be moving slow through these woods, walking and calling, and we got to be ready. Out of all the bears in the game, this is the last one we need to mark them off the list. It's also the biggest. It's also the hardest to kill, and depend on who you ask, the most dangerous, the deadliest, and it all comes down to this. I have one life to complete this challenge, and if I lose it right here, I've got to completely restart. Oh, we may have found one. We found him. We found him. Let me see if we can find another one. There's a moose. All right, we might be able to make this work. I'm just going to figure out how to get down, which I believe if he's way over there, then we got time. We can work our way around and be a little louder, be a little quicker, but if we got him right there, I'll take another look. We got him out there located. I'm going to go ahead and put a marker on him because we'll probably lose sight of him. All right, he's right there. Let's go ahead and get closer. If we can get within about 250 yards of him, we should be able to hit the call and bring him right to us. So let's go pick us a good bush, get nestled in there. Try to get as camoed up as possible. Make sure the wind is good. Make sure we're not loud. Make sure we're not seen. Our wind couldn't be better right now. I think this is going to work exactly like we were hoping it was. I think that one that we spotted earlier is probably still the biggest one. I don't actually remember if it was a male or female. No, it was a female. So really, really any of the grizzlies are up for grabs. Maybe we get close enough to call all of these and we just see who arrives first. Take that one. There's no specific big males that I'm looking for in this group. And with grizzly bears, it's not really that big a deal whether you shoot a male or female, or at least not here in Russia. They don't really care that much at all. So I'd say as soon as we get close enough, we'll probably just hit the call and see what happens. Maybe we get in this little rock crater right here and call and see where he comes. My range should be able to call him from here. Maybe I get nestled in right here. What if we do it the other way? What if we sneak up on the bear? The thing is at this point, I still can't really see where I'm going. And so do I want to call the bear and not know where it is? This is going to be wicked. I don't know if she's in these rocks. I don't know if she's half dead. I don't know if she's fully dead. Jamal don't know what's going on. Jamal don't know where we're at. I know it can't go too far because the crater's right up there. So I kind of got to be careful a little bit. Here, track it, Jamal. You know more than I do. Track it. Find it. Find the bear. Luckily, we're shooting the 45-70. It made up for it. The second shot, I shot straight through her shoulder. Still didn't even get a vitals hit, and I think she actually turned around because that's the bullet path. I think she was about to come back. Nevertheless, still a 500 pound bear. I mean, the grizzly was a whole lot bigger, but this being a female brown bear, that's pretty massive. Not to even consider how aggressive.
