College Day in My Life Vlog at UCLA

Hey guys guys, I checked the weather and guess what temperature it is today. It's 80 degrees I'm, so excited. It feels like summer outside, but we still have school so in honor of it being so perfect outside I'm gonna get my favorite hot weather food slash breakfast, which is an acai bowl So but yeah, I wanted to vlog today because I feel like it's gonna be such a fun day I only have one class today and it's a really fun psych class. Oh, I can't even get this in Oh, my mother is calling me. Hello. Hi, and I have been craving an acai bowl So I think first rule of action is gonna be to get that and then there's this place on campus called sunset rec Basically, whenever the weather is nice a bunch of students just hang out there So I think i'm gonna get my acai bowl and then go up there. It probably isn't gonna be too crowded Oh, but i'll just show you guys. It's like a ucla classic There's like a pool There's beach volleyball courts and just like a big grassy field people play like spike ball and all kinds of stuff and in the mornings It's like really peaceful So I think we're gonna head there as our first stop and thank you so much to microsoft windows for sponsoring today's video Also, I got a new ring and it's so cute It's like two little stacked ones and here's today's outfit little monochrome vibe, which is good because it's so hot out I'll probably change again once it gets cooler So you want to know something funny I have been reading the same book for months And it's because when i'm reading a book and I like it i'll savor it and it's getting really good So every page i'm like, oh no, I don't want this book to end but it's so good that I need to finish it because I literally have the next like book by this author too. I'm just savoring it because it's so good So there's this cafe on the hill and it's called the hill is like where the dorms are at And it's called josie's I think and they have the best acai bowls and like smoothies and Dolewhip ever. It's so good. Whenever it gets warm out. That's like my go-to. But yeah, it's literally Literally the best I also love that ucla has a lot of nature spots on campus and like on the hill where the dorms are I think even though the school is like in la there's so many spots of it that feel not city-ish Which I really like it's a good mix so now i'm probably just gonna read my book for a little bit and finish up eating and Then head back and probably work on some homework. Okay, I just got back and my mother is here, but she's staying mysterious today You can say hi though. Hello She brought me a package which is really nice. Shout out mom But yeah, she's staying mysterious today. I now have new wall art. Oh, but i'm so so excited Okay, so I mentioned at one point that I was getting new wall art for this wall and I can finally show it to you Guys, we'll kind of do like one at a time because they're large but I got a bunch of skateboards. Well, not a bunch I got three different skateboards for my wall. This is the first one This is c'est la vie really cute And then I also got this floral one which pretty much matches my sheets pretty well like pretty spot on and then This little polka dot one and it was really nice the girl who sent these to me I basically had a bunch that I liked and she let me pick a custom set So these are actually in like a set of three together, but she still let me do it, which was really nice So thank you for that because I love these so much. Ah, yeah, let's put it up and decide on like the order It's gonna go in Okay. So so far this was my mom's idea because it ties in or here I'll just show you what my sheets look like in case you haven't seen them Basically these floral sheets we feel like looks the most similar to that skateboard So by putting them far away it kind of ties the two parts of my room together And then this part of my room has a lot of like black and white vibes which ties in with that one So if there's anything else i'm not explaining you can yeah, no, I think that's that's exactly right I thought that by having the floral pattern skateboard at the foot of the bed It would tie together with the floral pattern sheets at the head of the bed kind of bring it all together Black and white would tie the other end and it just kind of pulls together and the polka dot is just I love it I think it's so good. So good polka dot is kind of whimsical and it ties together the crispness of the sailor bee with the femininity of the floral pattern Yes I love it. And then i'll show you kind of what it looks like with this part of my room I feel like it's so perfect. I love it. I love it. It's really fun Okay, and now i'm gonna get ready to head to class. I have a psychology class It's gonna be really fun. Honestly, one of the nicest ta's i've ever had She's just so awesome And she's kind of set time apart for us today to ask questions about like upcoming exam or like potential career paths I think is like really really nice because a lot of the times you don't always get that with like a ta section So it's gonna be really fun. I'm gonna grab my computer and head to class Guys i'm back from class, but I have big big big big i'm not in focus at all, but that's okay big news Okay, I just got off the phone with a hiring manager for my like literal dream internship And I got it Oh my goodness. I'm so happy so so so so so so happy I did three rounds of interviews for this and the last round was It was literally like I had one midterm the interview and then an hour later I had my other midterm that was honestly probably one of the most insane days of my entire life But oh my god, okay. I need to call my parents. I need to call my parents right now Oh my god. Oh my god I'm so excited. Um, okay. Wait, i'm gonna call my parents and tell them and my mom's probably still in the car, but i'm gonna like Let's go Hello Hi I'm waiting for mom to join the call You what i'm trying to get mom to join the call for what? I just want to tell you guys something about work not about your internship about my work No, it's just like stuff. I wanted to get your idea on hang on i'm gonna ring her again Why isn't she joining your opinion on it? Okay, so can I do a group call? Okay, just like for two seconds Because I don't want to have to explain it twice Well, I feel like you got the internship. No Okay, wait, i'm calling you and dad one second, bro Hi, hi Hello, guess what? What I got the internship You lied to me. I said I thought you were gonna get it. You said no You guys both guessed it, but I wanted to tell you on facetime I'm, so happy for you. That is amazing Thank you That is unbelievable. Congratulations Congratulations. Thank you Thanks. Yay. What is the read me the email? It was a phone call Oh, it was a phone. Yes Congratulations. I'm so proud of you. Thanks. You're the most amazing Candidate I could possibly imagine for this job and you've worked so hard and prepared so well for it. Congratulations Congratulations charlotte. I am so excited for you. I'm so happy for you They are very very lucky to have you but i'm just like i'm so excited about that you went for it How well and methodically you prepared for it and this is going to be a wonderful amazing experience that you're Always gonna remember and treasure I'm so happy for you Thanks I love you guys And this is like a very full circle moment for me because I use copilot so much to help me prepare for my interviews I asked her to give me practice questions and I would type out my responses It would give me real-time feedback, which was so helpful because I am like a late night studier I'm a late night editor. Like I love early mornings, but I feel so creative at night So I feel like with interview practice copilot is there any hour of the day, which is really nice I was definitely practicing at some crazy hours of the day It gave me real-time feedback. It helped me prepare my answers and above anything It just made me feel more confident going into that and I feel the same way about the way that it's able to help Me with my academics like literally tomorrow I have a quiz for data science and it's gonna help me study just knowing that I can use copilot to like bounce ideas Off of and help me understand the concepts better is life-changing as a college student. Oh, this is my baby I take so many notes on here. I make so many lists from to-do list to groceries to tracking my assignments It really does it all and I love that It's lightweight but still has a big screen which is literally like a dream for doing online readings or editing videos And the windows 11 pc is really the best pc for students looking to balance school work and productivity with being creative Or gaming or editing videos or whatever it may be The windows 11 pc really does it all and I just feel so grateful to be able to talk about something that has Improved my life so much. I'm so happy. I remembered to bring a reusable bag. Here's what we got starting off I am so excited about these. They're so cute I saw these and I was like I have to get them. Let's do a little taste test Plus I feel like I just sometimes want like a little a little something sweet and I feel like because these are literally little It's perfect Wow, that is so good. Wow. I love that I think these are gonna have to go in like my new rotation of snacks The inside is like crunchy because of the freeze dried and then the outside is like a very very smooth strawberry yogurt This is delicious. If you like strawberry things, you're probably gonna like this next Okay, I love the spicy lime like rolled tortilla chip trader joe's snack, but they came out with a ranch flavor I don't think these are spicy at all. But honestly i'm gonna try it because I'm, so excited about these. I don't think this is gonna be spicy, but it could be Wow, this is so good. Have these existed for a long time and I just don't know about it we actually can someone let me know because i've never noticed these before because I feel like I would have gotten them but I feel like they have the perfect amount of seasoning too Like sometimes, you know when you get a chip and it's just like not seasoned fully These are like very seasoned. So it's good. And then of course This is what I came here for. I love guac. Guac is like probably my favorite snack food It's just so good and then running these back cacio pepe puffs These are like if you want just a little something, you know, like if you're just like in a light snacky mood But you're not super hungry, but you just want like a little something yummy so good So now i'm gonna head back to campus and then i'm gonna get a bite to eat We're gonna go to the healthy dining hall is like what it's called and this way I'm forcing myself not to like dig into my snacks and have an actual meal I'm back from dinner and I just did some studying I probably did like two hours for tomorrow's quiz and now i'm gonna get ready for karaoke I love karaoke and we got to pick out an outfit picking out an outfit for like this kind of thing is my favorite Because the vibe of the karaoke place we're going to is like going out clothes But still like fun elevated like dress up a little bit kind of outfits Which is like basically my favorite and it's also so fun because I just feel like you end up running into people Which is like one of the best parts of college, especially since the year is about to end I feel like everyone is out trying to do one last this one last that like this will probably be my last karaoke of the Year, I have like two ideas in mind. So here i'll show you. Okay. I feel like this skirt is really fun I think this is called water sequins. They're like clear sequins and it just kind of gives like a little shimmer So i'm gonna try this on we'll try to like style something and because it's very festive I'm gonna try and tone it down with the shirt Like this is kind of cute because I feel like with tall black boots and like a little mini purse here Wait, i'll put it on with the shoes so you can get the full effect Like this is really cute and with the boots I feel like it could be the vibe like this is giving karaoke for sure Okay, and this is option number two cute little teal top a little bit less of like a dancey vibe But a little white mini skirt cute and then it has this fun little like I don't know Semi-belt detail, but I also can just like literally delete that If I wanted to this is just such a different vibe Oh, I don't know what to do. I could also do this top with jeans I don't know. I might try that I like this less than I thought I would and I think it's because the turtleneck is cropped It's not really hitting the way I wanted it to hit but I like the idea of a turtleneck Maybe I should do the teal maybe I should do the teal with like some jeans I don't know comment your favorite and comment your go-to karaoke song because mine are dancing queen and bad romance Okay, so I just found out that my friends are doing a little bit more casual So i'm gonna do a little bit more casual also a little trick I always do before going out. I flip my hair over. I brush it upside down take some hairspray just lightly mist it It's gonna give you so much volume. It just gives my hair like a little bit extra life to it, you know Oh love it. I was just informed. We're actually going to the more casual place I thought we were going to the other place. So I switched i'm just a girl But yeah, I think this is more the vibe. So let's go So I'm back. I took a shower. I'm feeling very clean. That was so fun I'm, so glad we went, you know when you have plans to do something You kind of like have an expectation of how it's gonna go. This was way better than I expected It was so fun We went to karaoke and then ran into some of my friends friends and then we all just like hung out There were so many people there We didn't even get to do our song like we wrote down our name on a list and then two hours goes by and nothing So, I don't know what happened with that But it doesn't even matter because I feel like there's two kinds of karaoke there's the kind where people are singing and other people are listening and then there's the kind when like Everyone is singing along and this one was like everyone was singing along This was so fun. And then after we got milkshakes with our new friends and that was so fun Oh my gosh, this was also really funny. But basically my vision is like not the most amazing So if i'm looking across the room frequently, I will think I see someone It's not actually them because I don't have my glasses on all the time, but on very rare occasions i'm actually right I was looking across the room and I see this guy and i'm like that really looks like My friend like that looks a lot like him. That's so weird Like they're literally looking the same and I said my friend like oh my god We should text and invite him to karaoke. We send that text two seconds later I look in the booth and it's literally our friend, which is just like crazy. Like that's so college. I love that So now i'm gonna watch I just started watching off campus I am one episode in and i'm so excited like i've been needing a good show like this And I just know it's gonna be so good.
