Scooby and the gang were at Mrs. Blake's house. Mrs. Blake's cat, Cupcake, was missing.
I just don't know where she could be, said Mrs. Blake.
Mrs. Blake's house was very old, with lots of cobwebs and strange noises.
Scooby and Shaggy were scared of the noises.
Like I hope your cat wasn't taken by a ghost, said Shaggy.
Oh, dear, said Mrs. Blake.
Don't worry, Mrs. Blake, said Velma.
We'll find Cupcake. Let's look for clues, gang, said Fred.
Velma and Scooby went to look for clues in the living room.
Something under a blanket ran quickly across the floor, and Velma tripped and fell.
Scooby backed into the corner.
Jinkies, cried Velma. I lost my glasses.
Ruh-oh, said Scooby.
Scooby was scared, but he had to be brave.
He wanted to find Mrs. Blake's cat and Velma's glasses.
Scooby looked for clues in the kitchen.
Shaggy was making a sandwich.
Like no clues in here, Scoob, Shaggy said.
Scooby searched Shaggy's sandwich, just to be sure.
He found some turkey, cheese, mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes, and he took a few bites.
He did not find Cupcake or Velma's glasses.
Scooby went upstairs to continue the search.
He looked under the rug and behind the chair.
He found lots of cobwebs, but he did not find Cupcake or the glasses.
Scooby went into Mrs. Blake's bedroom.
He looked under the bed.
Rikes, he yelped.
He found a giant spider.
But where was Cupcake, and where were Velma's glasses?
Scooby ran away from the spider and bumped into Fred.
Fred was looking at something on the rug.
One of Mrs. Blake's blankets is missing, Fred said.
This looks like a thread from the blanket.
I think it's a clue.
Scooby went to look for more clues.
Scooby heard screeching noises coming from the attic.
He was afraid of what he might find.
He slowly opened the door and was greeted by bats, but no Cupcake and no glasses.
Scooby ran down the stairs to the dining room.
Shaggy was doing detective work at the buffet table.
Scooby helped Shaggy search for clues.
They found some delicious food, and they ate it.
But they still did not find Cupcake or Velma's glasses.
Scooby and Shaggy found Daphne looking for clues in the garage.
There was a box here this morning, Daphne said, and now it's gone.
Just then, they heard a noise coming from inside the house.
Scooby and Shaggy heard scratching noises coming from the closet in the house.
Scoob, would you open the closet? asked Shaggy.
Scooby was too scared he might find another spider or some bats.
Would you do it for some Scooby snacks? asked Shaggy.
Okay, said Scooby.
Scooby opened the closet, and there was Cupcake and her kittens.
Mrs. Blake was so surprised.
She started to count all the new kittens.
I can't thank you enough, said Mrs. Blake.
Looks like we found your glasses, Velma, said Fred.
And we found the missing box, said Daphne.
Scooby, you saved the day!
Scooby-dooby-doo, barked Scooby.
