Spielberg s Disclosure Day Premieres in New York

Three-time Oscar winner Steven Spielberg arrived in New York on Monday for the world premiere of his new sci-fi thriller Disclosure Day. Walking the Red Carpet is an elite ensemble cast, including Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Coleman Domingo, and Eve Hewson. The narrative centers on a high-stakes government conspiracy, following a whistleblower played by O'Connor, who goes on the run with classified files, and a Kansas City meteorologist played by Blunt, who is inadvertently drawn into the massive cover-up regarding the existence of extraterrestrial life. I think to be able to work with Steven, who's inspired me for so many years, who I've dreamt of working with, you kind of think it's a call you'll never get and then it comes in and it blows your hair back. It's so surreal and disarming, but he just as rapidly as possible tries to dispel the myth that you only look at him as an icon. He's the most human, kind, vibrant, inspiring friend in my life, truly. Coming into this movie, my attitude was I looked up at the night sky and probably mathematically imagined we're not alone. Beyond that, I had no real notion of anything else, but Steven's introduced me to an awful lot and yeah, I guess I'm a believer for whatever you want to call it. Disclosure Day begins its global theatrical rollout this Wednesday, June 10th.
