Hey art friends today we are going to draw a bear grilling. Here's a quick preview of how our
drawings look at the very end. This was a lot of fun and I hope you're excited to follow along with
us. We're using our markers to draw and color with but you can use whatever you have like color
pencils or even crayons. All right you ready to get started? Yes. Let's start by drawing our little
bear's nose and we're going to draw over here on the left so that we have room for the grill
but maybe not too far over. We'll start just barely to the left. I'm going to draw an oval
shape for the nose and color it in and then we can draw a short line down and then we'll draw a
curve out to the side and the other side. There's the mouth. Now we could draw the eyes and we're
going to draw them a little different. I'm going to draw an oval for each eye and then we'll color
it in solid. Now let's draw the head. We're going to start way over here and we're going to draw a
letter U. We're going to draw the cheeks, the chin and the other cheek. Now let's draw
the top of the head. We'll start over here and leave some space for the ear and then we're going
to draw it coming over and connecting into the right side. Oh yours is looking really cute.
I like it. We can draw the ear and the other ear. Now let's draw our chef hat. I'm going to
draw two lines close to the ears and then right here in the middle we're going to draw an upside
down letter U, kind of floating, but then we're going to connect each side with another bump.
Yeah that looks awesome. Okay now let's draw the body. Over here we're going to leave a little
space from the chin. This is for the arm and we can draw a point, a guide point. We're going to
draw a line down from that point. Then we're going to come over here and we're going to draw
another line coming down. Okay now let's draw the arms. Let's draw the shoulder coming down
and then let's draw the bottom of the arm or the other side of the arm coming out.
Yeah and then right here we're going to draw a curve that comes around and then turns into a
big circle and then we can draw two little paw lines. He's hanging on to the spatula.
He's ready to get some grueling done. We're going to draw two lines coming out and then we want to
imagine those going through. This is the handle of our spatula. We'll draw the bottom of the
handle coming out and then we can connect it at the bottom. Okay let's draw the top of the spatula.
We'll draw two diagonal lines coming out on each side and then we'll draw the sides coming up higher
and then connect at the top. Oh let's draw a line in the middle with the little slots and then a
line on each side. There we go. Okay now let's draw the rest of our bear. We're going to draw
the apron next. Let's draw a line that comes over but we're not going to go all the way. We'll stop
before we get to the other side. Don't come up. Then we'll draw the little strap or the tie going
around the back and then right here we'll draw curving up and connecting to the shoulder. Okay
let's draw a short line here and a short line over here and then we'll connect. There's the apron.
Oh let's give him a t-shirt and shorts. We're going to extend those past the apron if yours
has already passed. Then we'll come across. Then we'll draw the other side of the shorts coming down
and over but leave a little space. Oh let's just connect it. Make it a little easier and then we
can draw a line in the middle. Okay now for the shorts. Let's draw two lines down well for the
legs coming out of the shorts. Two for each leg and then we'll draw the paws or the feet coming around
and then the same thing for the other foot. This one got a little smaller. That's okay.
Yeah and then we need little toe lines for each paw. Okay and then let's draw the other arm
just hanging down next to his side curving in and then t-shirt line and the thumb line.
There's our bear except now we need to draw the barbecue or the grill. Let's draw the letter U
right next to our bear. Then I'm going to turn my paper sideways to make a little easier
but I'm going to draw an oval a really squished oval for the top of the grill.
Yeah and then we can draw diagonal lines going across for the grill.
Is that what it's called? Or the great grill? The grill. Then let's draw the legs for our grill.
We'll draw two lines coming down and then let's draw another line next to them and then we can
curve and connect the bottom and then we'll draw another leg in the middle but we'll draw it
shorter and then we'll connect that one together. We did it. We finished drawing our bear grilling
except we're not completely done. We still need to color it. Yeah this part will fast forward but
at the end you can pause the video to match our same coloring. All right we did it. We finished
drawing and coloring our little bears and they turned out awesome. I especially love the little
extra fire we added to the barbecue. You could also add more bears in the background. Oh that
would be awesome and you could also draw trees maybe they're barbecuing in the forest. No that's
a fire hazard. Yeah probably. Maybe it should be out safe next to a picnic table. We hope you had
fun drawing with us. We do. We hope you had a lot of fun and remember it's okay if your drawings
look different than ours. The most important thing is to have fun and to practice. Yeah we'll see you
later our friends. Goodbye.
