It's time for Angelo Petitti.
It's Petitti's Garden Center with me as well,
and Angelo's off.
He's sunning himself on a beach today.
But we're gonna talk about its National Perennial Month,
some shade-loving perennials.
Take it away.
June is Perennial Month, and of course,
it's warm out, it's time to plant.
It's never too late to plant in my book, right?
Never.
And now we're gonna talk about shade-loving perennials
with my good friend, Noelle Aiken, who's in for Angelo.
Angelo's sunning himself on some beach somewhere.
He deserves some time away.
All right, let's talk about shady spots.
There's no reason we can't have a lot of color.
Absolutely not.
And look at all of the color, the texture.
I mean, and there's still,
a little bit of flowering is starting,
but still lots of color here.
I mean, the Estelbe is the showstopper.
It is, and especially for June,
Estelbe is gonna be your number one colorful plant
for shade, wonderful in those part-shade shady spots.
All right, and then you've got the different textures
of the Estelbes.
Yes, and the coral bells.
So we like that ferny kind of texture
with the Estelbe foliage,
and then that ruffled texture of the coral bells.
Lots of different colors.
Obviously a lot of purple and pink here,
but there's greens, there's peaches.
Anything you want.
Oh gosh, lime greens.
Yeah, wonderful.
Love that lime green.
Just add some Osmocote and keep everything well watered.
Yes.
Thank you, Noelle.
Oh, thanks.
Thank you very much.
Time to shade garden.
