First Time on a LUXURY CRUISE in Vietnam Ha Long Bay

One of the many things the north of Vietnam is famous for is cruising along Halong Bay. For the next two days we are going to take a scenic beautiful ride along Bai Tu Long Bay, an equally beautiful but less touristy destination here in the northern part of Vietnam. We are going to sleep on a boat, see incredibly beautiful mountain formations, discover hidden caves and go to local villages. So are you coming? Let's go! Our car is here and it's so pretty. Okay we finally arrived. We left our luggages, we got our badges and then we have to wait about half an hour. We are at the, I think it's a sort of a harbor and we're going to our boat right now and it's so pretty here. I will show it to you. Look at this. This is so pretty and look at that wheel over there. We also saw like an amusement park here. There's so many boats. Oh this is so fun. So we're taking a small boat to the bigger boat. Thank you. Okay so this one is leading us to the bigger boat. Knife jacket on. Let's go. Let's go. Second floor. Thank you. We can stay at any table, anywhere. Cheers. Here is the front of view. That is the Ha Long Bay. So it's divided in two parts. The first part on this side people go Ha Long and the second part on this side people go Ba Tri Long. We choose the Ba Tri Long Bay to bring you here. The bathroom is over here. Let's check it out. It's a lot bigger than I expected. So he said we also have a shower. Wow this is such a pretty view. This is actually my very first time when I'm cruising in Vietnam and to be honest with you it's my first time ever cruising. So I think you can understand my excitement. Let's have a quick boat tour. So the first thing I noticed is that every single time we are supposed to be descending or coming on the boat we are having a smaller boat that we carry with us which is this one. It's attached to our big boat. This is so interesting for me. I see that there is a restaurant here. So there is a restaurant area inside and if we go further away there is another restaurant area but outside. And here is where we were first cricket and where we ate earlier. And this is so beautiful. Look at this design. Look at these beautiful tables and look at this view. Look at this view. This is so precious for me and I think this is going to be our first stop for today. There is an upper deck that I want to see. It's the first time I'm seeing it so we're going to discover it together. 360 degrees of beautiful views and wow this is so pretty. Look this is this is actually the name of the company we're having this tour with Indochina junk and we're having some sunbeds here to relax maybe to view the sunset. Look how pretty this is. The view is the prize so I'm really looking forward to it. It's time to explore the cave. In Romania we also have a lot of caves that you can visit and we used to visit a lot of them when I was a child. Maybe available for all the caves. Here the temperature is exactly the opposite as the temperature outside so right now it's cooler in here than it's outside. Here people used to live but because it's not healthy the government said because we are in the rainy season and it rained in the previous days you can see like like a river formed here this is really interesting so maybe that's why people cannot live here because if it's raining too much it eventually gets exactly and flooded. We are on the smaller boat again leaving our big boat behind. This time we're going to an even nicer activity which is going to be kayaking. So now this is not the first time for us but I'm really excited and also a little bit worried because I know we're not very good at it so let's see how this goes. We are heading there I think it's a really nice activity in this area so peaceful. It's a bit hot yeah ah no it's okay it's okay I thought it would be hotter okay this is our boat no it's okay still okay yeah warm thank you I will go first I will go here right in the front here we're in here okay okay thank you and Elias in the back we're totally not good at this yeah going to the beach it's our maybe second time kayaking or first time yes it's really big yeah exactly very spacious oh but everybody else is way in front of us way I think I will stop recording now and maybe start paddling also it's so peaceful also right it's nice very nice I love it okay we almost made it to the beach but this this was some serious workout I cannot my hands are sore I cannot do this anymore this was so hard it's so tiny this is so nice we just arrived right now to the beach here is our guide now I can get out yeah we're now going to have a really nice activity that I'm looking forward to it's actually a cooking class and we will be taught how to cook the traditional pancakes the crispy pancakes here our guide and the chef showing us how to prepare explaining it in Vietnam that is very famous very popular you can see it everywhere in the Vietnam started in it's so crispy you like it it's a very nice experience to be here I was honestly expecting to be a little bit more maybe scared or more anxious about it but I don't it's so calm it's so nice it's so chill the boat is not bouncy so everything is so smooth we had a wonderful sleep in the second part of the night because it was very windy as you can see right now so today we're going to start the day with a breakfast at 6 45 sun is up it's really strong already we are cruising right now on Bai Tu Long Bay and we are going straight to a local village that we are going to visit today let's have a quick breakfast and continue exploring I'm very excited because right now we are going to a local village we will see the locals on their water houses and we are going to switch to a bamboo boat oh this is our boat in the back I think these are the local bamboo boats that we're going to take oh my god this is so pretty let's see what the guide has to tell us before and then go on the bamboo boat ah this is fish village this is the village we're visiting right now you can see the people are living in the in the lagoon and we are outside the lagoon right now time to take the local boat okay I did it all right bye bye I think that these are the houses the local houses our guide was telling us about look at them so he was saying that around every house there is a family business fishing farm our tour guide explained us that in this fishing village once they are done with the fishing they transport it to the mainland where they sell it and also the fish that we had on the boat is from this village which is very nice and I could tell that the fish that we had is very fresh and that makes perfect sense after visiting the fishing village we had a sort of a brunch we actually ate pretty well while on this cruise right now it's time for our adventure to come to an end we are going to embark again the smaller boat to go to the pier back to the pier we are going to go back to Hanoi for now because tonight we're leaving to another beautiful place in the northern part of Vietnam if you want to be part of the family if you want to follow our adventure subscribe to our 34 000 small family and also if you liked what we did don't forget to leave Elias and I a thumbs up and I will see you on the next adventure bye
