What is this? It's my money. I'm allowed to withdraw from my own bank account.
You said, what's the maximum limit you can give a withdrawal to a customer?
It's $3,000 on the date. You've already mentioned that multiple times.
Yeah, not today.
Why not today?
So, yeah, $3,500 is going to be the most I can do today.
Right. I thought, yeah, I thought that's what we were doing.
CIBC, I'm going to have to switch because this cannot happen to me again.
Banks are starting to limit cash withdrawals and deposits
as Canada is hurtling towards a cashless society like many countries in the West
with a bankster in charge.
I'm going to show you how this dystopian nightmare is carefully being crafted into a reality.
Imagine this. You walk into a bank branch.
You're trying to withdraw $3,000.
You're buying a friend's vehicle and you asked to withdraw that amount of money.
You want the cash and the teller looks you dead in the eye and says, no.
Then they proceed to say, do you have an invoice?
What are you going to be using this money for?
Sounds like a joke, right?
Sounds like something out of a dystopian authoritarian regime.
But if you've watched my channel for any length of time,
you'll know this isn't hypothetical and it's happening right across Canada, the UK and Australia.
You've already mentioned that multiple times.
Yeah, not today.
Why not today?
Banks are aggressively trying to make getting out cash very difficult.
They're capping withdrawals.
They're taking out ATMs and they're even shutting branches.
And the mainstream media and the government are telling you, oh, it's just for your safety.
We're just fighting money laundering.
It will take some sacrifices.
Right, because the guys laundering hundreds of millions of dollars through Toronto and Vancouver
are still using duffel bags packed with $20 bills.
As Sam Cooper has documented and even explained on this channel,
they have moved from doing that to more sophisticated methods now.
So that's not the case.
Today, we're going to be looking at the undeniable reasons
why the banking oligarchy is hurtling towards a cashless society.
We're going to be talking about the bail-in trap,
the new carbon trackers that are already live.
We're developing through technology an ability for consumers to measure their own carbon footprint.
What does that mean?
That's where are they traveling?
How are they traveling?
What are they eating?
What are they consuming on the platform?
And why holding cash is the ultimate constraint against a broken banking system.
So if it's not about stopping crime, what exactly is it about?
It's about two things, control and also the bank's bottom line.
Let's talk about the bottom line first.
First, you've got to follow the money.
When you buy a coffee for $5 from a local shop using a $5 bill,
that transaction gets settled instantaneously
and all that money goes to that small business.
It's a zero-fee, peer-to-peer transaction and banks absolutely hate this
and they want this to stop.
Elbows out.
Elbows up.
If the government and the banks can eliminate cash completely,
that means 100% of the transactions will be funneled through a digital toll booth.
Visa, MasterCard and the big banks get a percentage
of every single transaction that's made.
Imagine the bump to their bottom line
if literally every transaction in the economy,
they're getting 1% to 2% off.
It's beautiful.
Every used lawnmower sold on Marketplace,
every tip that's handed to your waitress.
They are socially engineering us to view cash as an inconvenience
so they can force us into their fee farm.
Now, let's talk about the bail-in trap.
You are essentially the unsecured creditor for the banks.
The fees are just the appetizer.
The main course is leverage and systemic risk here.
We all remember the absolute destruction of purchasing power
from the just inflation period between 2021 and 2024.
I want you to know that we're here for you.
The money printing went parabolic and the banks got extremely over leveraged.
Now, if you look at the risk appetite of Canadian banks,
their leverage ratios are quite literally insane
when compared side by side with US banks.
Here is the dirty secret that the banks do not want you to know
when you deposit money into their system.
When you deposit money into a bank, it ceases to actually be your money anymore.
Legally, you become an unsecured creditor with an IOU from the bank.
People always say who cares about bank leverage
because my deposit is protected by CDIC.
Okay, let's look at the math.
Legally, when you deposit money into a bank,
you become an unsecured creditor.
You're loaning the bank money, but it's insured, right?
CDIC currently insures around 1.24 trillion in deposits.
Do you want to know what their actual emergency fund is?
That would be $8.6 billion.
That's a funding ratio of just under 1%.
If a systemically important bank fails, that fund is wiped out within hours.
So how do they actually pay you back?
They fire up the money printer.
The central bank will digitally conjure billions and billions of dollars
out of thin air to cover the system's losses.
I call this a shadow bail-in because they don't legally seize your account.
Instead, they just steal your purchasing power.
It will take some sacrifices.
You get your $100,000 back,
but what you can buy with it is worth 30% less than the day before.
You pay for the bank's failure through the hidden tax of inflation.
And they can only get away with this perpetual debasement
if you are trapped in a digital cashless cage without an exit.
But there's one massive flaw to their plan here.
A bank run.
If people get spooked and they run to their bank to withdraw cash from the ATM,
it acts as a literal constraint on the bank itself.
If a bank wants to give you cash,
they literally have to have the liquidity to order the cash from the Bank of Canada.
And banks absolutely hate this.
By eliminating cash and setting strict withdrawal limits,
they are removing the exit door if a crisis hits.
You are trapped in the system and you're a sitting duck for a currency devaluation.
This brings us on to the control aspect.
A lot of people sighed in relief recently
because the Bank of Canada said they're pausing their idea for a digital loonie or a CBDC.
They simply got smart and realized the public pushback was way too much.
But don't be fooled here.
The banks are extremely smart.
They don't need a government branded CBDC.
They'll just get the private sector to do the exact same thing.
Have you heard of the Mastercard Dokinomi card?
This isn't a conspiracy theory from a dark corner of the internet.
This is a real product partnered with the UN.
It's a real credit card that tracks the CO2 emissions from every single dollar that you spend.
The do black version of this card has a hard carbon limit.
Individual carbon footprint tracker.
Meaning when you reach that limit, you can no longer spend any more money.
This isn't just hypothetical.
Now fast forward to where Canada is right now.
More and more banks are moving to agentic AI for running their back-end systems
combined with new AI real-time digital infrastructure.
Imagine this.
An AI agent or algorithm is deciding if your spending habits are high risk for the bank.
Maybe you bought too much fuel.
Maybe you went to the wrong protest.
Or maybe, heaven forbid, you bought a firearm legally.
Suddenly your digital wallet freezes.
And you can't even go to the bank to complain about that decision because guess what?
It was made by AI.
You have seamlessly been digitally debanked.
And with no physical cash allowed, you are entirely cut off from society.
Do you have an apology for the people whose bank accounts you illegally seized?
Are you still happy about it?
I'm proud of standing up for Canadians.
This is exactly why you cannot keep all your eggs in one basket anymore.
You cannot leave 100% of your wealth in a single highly leveraged banking system
that views your freedom to transact as an actual threat.
So you're confirming that accounts have been frozen?
You need to diversify your banking and you need to look at cross-border options.
Outside of the Western Matrix, I've realized that there are banks out there
that respect your privacy and also try and preserve your capital.
You can move your capital, hold different assets and secure your wealth legally
and efficiently if you know what you're doing.

Let's talk about the final squeeze.
The transition to a cashless society is not going to happen overnight
and it's not going to happen with a massive announcement.
They are boiling the frog.
They do it by closing physical bank branches and replacing them with digital kiosks.
They do it by making small businesses pay insane amounts
to ensure cash that's left on their premises.
They do it by looking at you like a criminal
when you want to take out $3,000 for a weekend trip away with your friends.
The goal is to make using cash socially awkward,
to make it slow and time-consuming
and so legally suspicious that you just give up.
Why do you really want the money?
You just tap your phone, you accept the tracking
and you just give up because it's easier.
Don't fall for it.
Use cash.
Go to the ATM.
Take out a couple of hundred bucks.
Use it for your groceries.
Pay small businesses with it.
Pay for all your little transactions with cash.
It actually helps support small businesses.
Force the system to keep cash circulating
because the moment the last paper bill is out of the system,
your financial sovereignty goes with it.
