I finally got Greg Rostami on to talk about Legacy, and I'd performed it for the very first time that same morning, on my hairdresser of all people, so I came into this buzzing.
On the face of it, Legacy is your business card with a QR code on it. But when someone scans that code, it reveals their freely chosen card, number, word, whatever you've set it to, and here's the kicker: it locks to that reveal forever. Ink on paper can't change, so they take your card home, scan it again days later, and it's still impossible. It runs on Greg's Inject system, and we break down what Inject is for anyone who hasn't come across it yet.
The thing I love, and we get into this properly, is that it isn't a card trick bolted onto a business card to justify handing one over. The routine stands on its own, and the card just happens to be yours. We go through loads of the clever stuff people are doing with it: the nail writer angle, the Inject AI disconnect where they write Tom Hanks and the reveal is Forrest Gump, using three cards as a pick-a-card, the ZZZ option so nobody can spoil it by scanning early, and stage and projection reveals for the bigger rooms.
Honest verdict: I got ten minutes of solid material out of a single business card on day one. That tells you most of what you need to know.
Hi everybody, welcome to this interview with Greg Vastami.
These are the deep dive creator interviews, all right, so we really get into the specifics
of how these things work and the different things you can do with them. Now when we're talking about
tech, I would really appreciate it if you didn't share this with anybody outside the community,
with most of this stuff really, but especially this. This is powerful mentalism and we really
need to protect the methods here. So I know it sounds a bit kind of, you know, prescriptive, but
I think this one's important. So it's been great talking to Greg, it really, I think, will help
some of you. So many people say to me, what is Engender, but what, you know, does it actually do
other than the Google thing and some people don't really understand that. So we get into all that,
then we get into what Legacy is and I think it's going to be enlightening and informative and
hopefully enjoyable. So do me a favor, give it a search if you want, go to stevefalter.com forward slash
newsletter. I'm going live loads at the moment, we're talking more depth about these things and
you can answer any questions you like. But let's get on with this interview with Greg Vastami,
go to vastamimagic.com for more information, but here we go, enjoy. We are recording, so
I'm so glad we finally did this, Greg, it's been a while. Yeah, yeah, I'm so glad. This is so
exciting, I'm so happy we're doing this together. Yeah, well, do you know what I did today? And I
always get super nervous about it when I take out a new thing that I haven't had for long,
but I get in, I have my haircut and my hairdress is great to do magic tricks with and try stuff out
and so I tried Legacy, I just thought I'm gonna go for it. And another lovely thing was that I,
and we'll talk about, I want people to know what it is, we'll do that in a second.
Yeah. But because the business cards that you've beautifully made have the space,
I did two routines using this card, right? So I did a peek using Vision, which is a controlling
thing, and then I did that and then they had the thing, the story on that business card was two
experiences they've had. Yes. And it just, it was brilliant. And I got 10 minutes of material out
of one business card. So tell us about the Legacy effect or tell us what you want to tell us.
Yeah, I'll tell you what Legacy is in a nutshell. It's basically your business card, you know,
exactly, Steve, what you said, you know, and anywhere on your business card, you have a QR
code, right? And that QR code is a reveal for the magician to be anything you want it to be. So if
you wanted to perform the ultimate invisible deck trick with just your business card, which is
usually the way that I do it, is I say that, yeah, you know, the guys at Google have been kind of
going crazy and they embedded a playing card into these new QR codes that people can read. So yeah,
you're going to take it in your hands, my business card, right? What card do you think it is? And
they're like, I don't know. I think it's the four of spades. It's like, yeah, you're right. Scan it.
And they scan it. It's the four of spades and it stays the four of spades forever, regardless of
whoever scans the card, your card in the future, you know? And so I think that's like essentially
the idea of legacy in a nutshell, you know? And where it came from was there was a feature in
Inject, which everybody calls colon zero. And the reason why they call it colon zero is because the
way you access it is by putting a colon zero at the end of your URL in Inject, you know? And what
the colon zero feature does is that it simply reveals whatever was the last Inject transmission,
right? And oftentimes people were taking their business cards or anywhere else in the world
where you can have a QR code, and they were putting this colon zero URL on that QR code,
right? And so it would allow them to perform like all these cool Inject effects just by using a QR
code, right? The only problem with colon zero is that right after you were done with your performance,
it was not locked to that QR code, right? It would change, right? So the moment you went on to
your next performance, then if you had left a QR code with a person that you had left it with,
then obviously it was going to change. It couldn't always be locked to that. And so I thought that
the ultimate giveaway that a magician could have, especially if it is in the form of a business card,
would be a QR code that would lock forever, which kind of validates that ink on paper can't change,
you know? And what I also loved about this whole idea is that, you know, as the world of magic
tries to, like, is struggling with how do you present technology so that it feels organic,
you know? The legacy is the kind of thing that when you do it, you don't have anything,
you know? Like if you were to see me do it, I usually stand in front of people and I just say,
yeah, you know, this QR code is a year that's within the last 100 years. What year do you think
it is? And they say, oh, I don't know. I think it's 1997. I'm like, oh my God, you're right,
right? And they scan it and it's 1997, right? And as they're looking at me, I'm just standing there,
you know? I don't have anything, right? Yeah, yeah. And then, you know, I've already given
them my business card and so they just walk away with it. And when I first came up with this whole
idea, the way that I thought it in my imagination was that people later on would go back and they
would, like, scan it again, you know? And that's exactly what ended up happening because, like,
for example, I did legacy for a gentleman about, like, about a month ago and then about two or
three weeks later, I saw this gentleman again, right? And he, when he first came up to me,
he opened up his wallet, he took out my business card and he said, I still scan it, right? And I
was like, wow, you know, that, that idea that I had in my mind's eye about how people would revisit
it actually does happen. You know, people do revisit it, you know, just because they think
it's so impossible that, that this could have worked because they, they know that they had a
free choice. I know. And the, so before I jump the gun, because there's, there's a couple of
things that I realized once performed, I performed it. And that's, I think, important when, when
someone describes a trick to me or routine, I struggle, if it's basic, like when you described
it to me, I knew I didn't struggle with any of that. But it's only in the doing of it, you sort
of go, I could do that. And then you, it kind of becomes, it's, it's, you're kind of connected with
it because you've learned it and you've watched the stuff and studied it. But before we go into
that, we need to talk a bit about Inject because it just changed the game, didn't it? It was,
I mean, every, everybody in mentalism who uses any kind of, just knows what it is. So just give
us a, if I've never heard of Inject, tell me what, it does so many different effects, right? And
that's what a lot of people don't realize, but just, just tell me what that, why is it about
Inject that just captured people? What are the, what happens? Yeah. In essence, Inject allows a
magician to convert the spectator's phone either into a transmitter or a receiver,
you know? And it does that in a very covert kind of a way. I'm usually under the disguise of a
Google search, you know, which is as commonplace as you breathing nowadays, you know? Just because
people do Google searches all the time, you know? And so a lot of people use Inject for an effect
that's called the Google peak, mainly because, you know, you are motivating why you want a
spectator to do a Google search for any kind of information. You know, like you say, Hey,
let's look up the birthday of a celebrity or the definition of a word or whatever, you know?
So in every way, the use of Google is motivated. And then the magician reveals, you know, what the
spectator was thinking, you know, in a dramatic way. And, and then, so that's like one of the
core effects of Inject that a lot of people gravitate towards. But then in the greater
scope of what Inject is, it's an entire ecosystem that allows you, whenever you convert your
spectators falling into a receiver to do some pretty crazy things. Like, let's say you tell
the spectator that you have a video on YouTube, which is your prediction, right? And you literally
on their phone, you show them, Oh, here's like, here's YouTube, right? I'm going to do a search
for a video on YouTube. And then you give the phone to them. And it's really their phone.
And you say that you're going to name any card you want. They say, I don't know, two of hearts.
Okay, wow. Go ahead and play the video. And they turn their phone around, they play the video,
and it's a real YouTube video that reveals dramatically, the magician spreads the deck
of cards out and waves his hand and a card magically comes out of the deck all by itself.
And when he flips it over to two of hearts, you know, so it is often people oftentimes describe
Inject is like the magic's ultimate Swiss army knife, just mainly because it allows you to take
any idea that you have, and to implement it to make it happen, you know, and that's what I really
wanted to do. When I made Inject, I wanted something that was a very powerful utility
that you can customize, you know, and that's pretty much Inject. And that's short as I can
say it, even though it does a lot, really hard to quantify it in just a couple sentences.
But you did it way better than I would have. And I'm so glad you did. And this is a problem. And
the problem I have with lots of things like Nexus and things like that is they do so much,
and that can be intimidating. You know, and that's why I think there are people that have written
PDFs, like Peter Neutinger has written a PDF, which I recommend everybody get. And the stuff
you get with it is enough to get you going. But then he's kind of got this 50% which and that's,
I think, when you learn slowly, so you maybe learn the Google peak and then,
but I think a lot of people stop there. And it's actually the other stuff that I've really,
I mean, don't get me wrong, I love that. But it's the other stuff. And I think if you learn it
properly, like I'm doing now, you can, you can sort of course correct, if you get to a venue,
okay, maybe I can't do that. Or maybe you can do that. And then you get remotes involved. And,
you know, going back to legacy, having gone out and done it in quite a rudimentary form today,
because it's most basic, with two people, my hairdresser, and his friend, I did to put he was,
the peak thing worked incredibly well. And it was almost like an afterthought. Actually,
let's try something. He opens the phone and does a Google search. And I'm saying this so other
people can understand that it's a bit more versatile that he searches a thing. And then
the other guy, I think, do me a favor, you can never see what you said. The other guy does the
QR code on his phone. Right? The two completely. I've gone, you know, in their mind, nowhere near
anything, because it's all, you know, just been by the by. Yeah. And then that comes up on the
second guy's phone. It wasn't anywhere near that. And that's where I think they couldn't I mean,
they've seen me do a bits and pieces using boards and things like that. But they just couldn't
there's nowhere for them to go with it. Right. And I think it's important that people know that
that search is clean. But there's nowhere. It's a real right there looking at the genuine.
Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's another one of the really powerful aspects of legacy is that it's a
real either Google search or Amazon search or whatever website you want to use for your reveal,
you know, whatever you feel motivates like your performance. They're all real. And then
one of the other ways that I think that people use legacy, which is great as a business card
for a professional magician that wants to promote their business is when the QR code
actually takes the spectator to the magician's website. Right. Right. And that's like exactly
what the purpose of a business card is, you know, is to promote your business. And so if you had a
card reveal, like let's say, for example, if it was your website, you know, then what would happen
would be they scan a QR code. It goes to Steve Walker's website. Right. And it would be a
photograph of you holding their playing card in your hand. And it would always be that forever,
regardless of when they scan it again in the future. And obviously, because it is your website.
Now, the spectator is on your website, which means that they now they can navigate to anywhere else
and find out more about you and anything else they want, you know. So there are these two
different ways that, you know, people, professional magicians have been using the legacies that they
either use it in circumstances where the outcome is a real Google or Amazon or whatever. So,
you know, YouTube, whatever, or it is very personal in that it lands on the magician's
website. I think that's the power of it. So the thing that jumped out to me, because
whenever I hear of anything with a business card, part of me goes to that place of,
which I disagree with, by the way, that people say nobody's using business cards anymore,
it's all digital. And I get that, you know, you can have a business QR code. But what I realised
is that, yes, if you're giving your business card at gigs, there's a good chance that by the time
they get home, they've lost the thing. Or if you're at a trade show, they've got a bag of business
cards, and it gets mixed up. So rather than think about it, oh, I just want people to have my
business card. It's easy to have people have your business card. What's not easy is to give that
card importance to make it different to all the other business cards they've got. And that I think
is the real, it makes your card an object that holds more than your contact. They've had an
experience to link with that card, which they then will tell stories about. And the website thing,
I think is so powerful, because, again, I don't, I'm not a big fan of, and it's because I can't
really get away, you know, what people say, oh, you know, here's the business card, and they do
a trick with it. Brilliant. But it always feels a bit icky, like I've done that trick to give you
my business card, because the trick itself is, you know, it's like, right. But when the trick,
the routine is so powerful, it overshadows that the fact it's a business card, and it's almost
like, oh, it's your, do you know what I mean? The routine isn't a good routine with a business
card. It's an incredible piece of mentalism, and they happen to have your business, that happens
to you. Everything's relevant, I think, is the point. It's shoehorned. Yeah, yeah. Does it feel
shoehorned? Yeah. A lot of the people that have been purchasing Legacy that are like close-up
performers, you know, walk-around magicians, what they'll do is they either will leave a single one
of their business cards at a table as they're leaving the table, or they'll leave multiple
cards out on the table, you know, just let's say if there's multiple spectators that they're
performing for, and then as the final goodbye, they will say, you know, before I leave, is there
like a particular number that you like, you know, or anything, anything that you want to be a reveal
that you think is relevant to it, you know, and then they do, and you ask everyone on the table
to bring out, you know, to basically take the business cards that are in front of them, and to
scan it, and they all get the same reveal. I didn't know that. No, we haven't got that yet. Yeah, yeah,
which is just crazy, you know, and once again, it validates that this is ink on paper. It can't
change, right, and it's always the same thing, and one of the other things that I love about the
method that's behind it is that the spectators don't know that you have a secret input device,
right, that they don't know that, like, let's say you're swiping in your pocket, or that you
had a Lumen Pro impression device, where whatever they wrote down is what's being transmitted,
right, and then finally, one of the other things that I find a lot of people are doing now with
legacy is how they mix it with inject AI for a disconnect between what someone has searched,
or what they've written down, and what the final reveal is. Usually, what I do is when I bring out
my business card, I say that I'm a really big movie fan. I'm a movie buff. I love movies a lot,
right, and I love movies so much that I actually embedded on my business card my favorite movie,
right, and you might think that's crazy, but you're going to see why it's so interesting,
and so now, I bring out my Lumen impression device, or even the Arvel impression notepad,
and I ask someone to think of any famous movie actor or actress, and just to write it down to
show it around, right, and hence, I'm motivating why they're writing it down, so because I said,
don't tell me, just write down the name of any actor or actress, right, and so they do,
and then they obviously know that the business card has been given to them before they even
started, and so let's say they write down Tom Hanks, right, and so now, when they reveal,
when the spectators all scan your QR code on your business card, it reveals Forrest Gump.
It does not reveal Tom Hanks, right, which is that really wonderful disconnect, you know, that
there's that extra layer of deception that's there, you know, that's just like, wow, because
they would not imagine all of those pieces that have to work together to make it happen, and again,
obviously, it's locked now. Forrest Gump basically is locked to that card forever, you know, so
there you go. It's brilliant, and I got such a buzz from doing it, and I will, I stress again
that, you know, because it's a business card, you can use that for, I got 10 minutes of routine
out of my business card. Yeah, yeah. Steve, I'll tell you, I'll tell you one other thing that you
mentioned, which I think is really brilliant, and how you used it, and how oftentimes, magicians
will use their business cards as a way of either getting it as like a, as a peak device, or as a
device, you know. I've had so many people that have purchased Legacy from me ask for the matte
option instead of the glossy option, you know, which is what this card is, and mainly because
they use nail writers. So here's what these guys do. They will say, before we get started,
they'll bring out their pencil or whatever, you know, they're going to be nail writing with.
They write on the back of the business card, and they say, you know, it's a number between one and
100. What do you think it is? They say, I don't know, I think it's 71. Like, oh my god, you're
right. They flip around their business card, and it says 71, right? And so because they're nail
writing, but then they're like, you know, I kind of cheated, because, you know, before I started,
I flipped it around, and I showed you that QR code. The QR code actually has the number embedded in
it. So there is like this analog part of your reveal that is then validated by them scanning
the QR code, which will always reveal a Google image search for 71. You know, it will never
change. And they're like, how did he make me think of 71? And this is what I mean by that thing,
once you understand it, because you start thinking of all the routines that you do,
or you wanted to do, or maybe, like, nail writing is a great example. You know, I'm now getting
better at it, because I've got quite a good nail art, and I want to start doing it. But I was
terrible. I mean, you couldn't see what I'd written. It was awful. So even that would be
quite funny, of having a really bad, sort of, really badly written 71. And just saying, oh,
yeah, sorry, I got myself a prediction. I've got my son to write that. He's only three years old.
But just so you can read it more clearly. It's one of those things that's so simple in concept,
clearly not in creation. You can't help but start coming up with ideas about thinking about it. I'm
not saying that just to big you up, because that's something I'm not great at. But even with
this, I started. I think it's brilliant. So I think it's important that people know what you
when people purchase this. Oh, thank you. Thank you for mentioning that. So when you purchase
Legacy, you get 2000 physical business cards. Okay. And so I mail you out these two large boxes,
you know, that have the business cards in them. And 2000 is a big number. It's like it takes a
long time for you to exhaust them. One of the other things that's important for people to know
is that obviously, the moment that anybody scams any one of your business cards, it is locked to
your last inject transmission forever, which means that you cannot reuse the cards that
automatically lock. And hence the reason why you're giving it away to your spectator, right.
But along with your purchase, you also get 10 business cards that never lock,
you know, which, by the way, on its own has a lot of interesting applications.
There's a lot of ways of using the cards that don't lock with the QR codes that don't lock,
you know, but for magicians that are concerned about, you know, when they're practicing,
wasting one of the cards that they have purchased, they don't have to worry about it because of those
10 cards that don't lock that they get. Yeah. And of course, you get the instructions on how to use
it, where I walk you through all the different ways of using it there. If you currently do not
have inject, then there is an option on my website that for only $50 more, which is the lowest price
that you could ever find in the world for buying a copy of inject, you can get inject as well.
You know, so yeah, it's so in at the end, you are purchasing essentially a package that's
capable of not only doing the legacy effect along with all your business cards, but you're getting
inject, which allows you to do everything else that inject that. Yeah. Yeah. And by the way,
one of the thing is that a lot of my customers that are not in the United States, like the UK
or anywhere else in the world, the concern is how expensive it is to ship 2000 business cards to the
UK. Right. And so that's why I now offer a digital only version of legacy, which is considerably
cheaper. So legacy sells for $350 and that's for your 2000 business cards, right? And for $200,
you're getting just a digital version of legacy, right? Which means that there is no business
cards at all. You literally just down, you know, it's just a download, you know? Um, and, and it's,
uh, specifically designed for your inject account. And what's actually powerful about receiving it
as just QR codes in contrast to physical business cards is that, uh, I have a lot of stage magicians
right now that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They use the ZZ option. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. Which I'll
briefly describe right now. Um, yeah, you, you're like, for example, there are, uh, professional trade
show magicians, business magicians that want to incorporate the QR code on a brochure, right.
Or as a final reveal, that's going to be at the end of their stage performance. You know, um, David
Copperfield had a wonderful thing that he used to do in his show. Uh, I used to say he used to just
because his last show ended like two weeks ago. Right. But in every show, he would end his show
with a reveal that was in an email that was sent to everybody. Right. Um, the only thing that was
negative about the interaction that, that involved was that if you were one of the people that had
sent in your email address, when you first came to David Copperfield show, then yes, you would get
right. But if you were not one of those people, then at the end of the show, you couldn't participate
in that wonderful reveal, you know, whereas in contrast with this QR code idea, all you do is
let's say there's a QR code that's been like sitting on the side of your stage, or it can even
be a projection that's at the end of the show, right. When people scan that QR code, it can be
the reveal of everything that happened throughout your show, almost like a confabulation, you know,
which is a mixture of forces, which is exactly what David Copperfield would do along with free
choices. And it can be in the form of either an image or a Google search or whatever, you know?
So, so that's one of the ways that people are really clever with the digital version of the
product, is that not only is it considerably cheaper, you know, to get, but it allows people to
just do whatever they want with it. If you want to put it on a little sticker that you put on a
coin or a playing card or whatever, you know, you can. Great. And there's a thing in there that if
they scan it beforehand, before you do the reveal, it won't. Yeah. That's amazing. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
thanks for reminding me of that. Yeah, we call it the ZZZ option because the fear that a magician
has whenever they put a QR code out in front of everybody, right, is that someone will prematurely
scan that QR code, which would mean it's going to ruin the trick because the moment they scan it,
it would reveal whatever the last inject transmission was, which is not the final reveal,
right? So the only thing that the magician has to do is before they present the QR code is you
just transmit to yourself ZZZ and that's it. And so now what happens is if someone was to scan
any of the legacy QR codes, it would reveal nothing. It's just blank. There's nothing there,
right? And so, but the moment that the magician does the real transmission, which is something
that's obviously other than ZZZ, then when someone scans the QR code, it does the reveal.
It does the real reveal that you wanted at the time that the reveal was meant to be presented
to your audience. Yeah, that's so important. And that now picks up a whole load of other stuff as
well. Yeah, it's an important feature for professionals that, you know, they can just
kind of like rest easy, knowing that they don't have to worry about anything. It's just going to
work. And thank you for it. Yeah, it's because I'm terrible at getting gigs. And now I've got
no excuse. It will translate to more money and enjoy a free tea.
Is there anything else about it you'd like to mention before we go?
Yeah, yeah. You know, a lot of people are becoming really clever with the kind of things that they're
doing with legacy, which is the thing that I usually look forward to the most whenever I
make products is that because I know that my imagination is limited, you know, that people
are going to be so much better at this than I am. And one of the things that I've noticed people
doing with their legacy cards is that they use them actually like pick a card tricks.
And here's what I mean by that. Let's say, for example, you have three of your legacy cards that
you put out on the table and you say to your spectator, one of these three cards is the card
you're thinking of. Actually, I have even a video of me doing that. One of these three business
cards is the card you're thinking of. And people kind of like look at you weird. They're like,
what do you mean? These are just business cards. All right. Like, no, no, no. You'll see what I
mean in just a moment. Right. Say, which one of these three do you think is the card you're
thinking of? Don't even tell me what card you're thinking. Just think of a card. Right. And they're
like, OK. And so they're thinking of a card. Obviously, you have no idea what card they're
thinking of. And they pick one of these three that they think is the card they're thinking.
Right. So let's say they pick up, they pick this one right here. OK, OK, great. They put that in
front of them and say, well, you didn't pick this one. And so you flip it around, say everybody
scan this one and they scan it. And it's the two of diamonds. Like, for example, Steve, I want you
to think of any card right now. Are you thinking of a card? Yeah. Yeah. OK. OK. So you scan the
card. Were you thinking of a two of diamonds? No, you were not. OK, perfect. Say, well, you didn't
pick this one, which is the second one you flip around, right? You scan that one and it's the ten
of spades. Steve, were you thinking of a ten of spades? No. It's a good thing, Steve. You didn't
pick these two cards. You picked this one. Right. For the first time, tell everybody what was the
card you were thinking of? Go ahead. Four of hearts. Four of hearts. So I swiped the four of hearts in
my pocket. Everybody scans the card and it's the four of hearts. Right. Yeah. And so now what
ends up happening, which is really interesting at the end of this trick, when you walk away.
Remember, you're taking your three business cards and you're just simply leaving it on the table.
Right. And you just walk away. Now, everybody at the table and this happens practically, I want to
say, 100 percent of the time they pick up those business cards and they scan them again because
in their mind, this is impossible, which is just like so insane. And I see the look on their
faces when I walk away from them, when they scan it again. And it's just the same thing that they
had just scanned. Yeah. Right. Like, how can this happen? I could have said anything, right?
Yeah. Yeah. So it's it's good. And that's what I mean by, you know, people getting just simply
clever with it, you know, and then I'll throw one last one at you as well. You simply say that QR
codes are designed to be like omnidirectional, meaning that regardless what orientation you scan
a QR code, say, well, you know, actually, Google has been experimenting with these new QR codes,
which are not omnidirectional, meaning that it reveals different things. Like, for example,
if you were to scan this QR code this way, it would reveal one thing. But if you scan it like
this way, it actually reveals something totally different. It's a different, you know, end point.
Right. And so then you do the same exact presentation. You can either do it with a
playing card or a number or whatever you want. Right. And you literally pick up the card and
you flip it and you say, OK, flip it around any way you want. They flip it around and they scan
it and it's the wrong thing. You know, like, let's say you ask them to think of a number
and then say they flip it around the way you think it's going to work. And let's say they flip it
around upside down. Like, OK, I think that this is what's going to work. Like, OK, scan it now.
They scan it now and their number is there. You know, so even though you're only using one card,
once again, it's still. And just as a minor side note, you want to do that with one of your cards
that don't lock. Sure. Yes. Because otherwise it won't work. Man, it's there's so much talk about
and I feel sometimes because I get quite gushy about especially if I've performed it today for
the first time and I feel people often say, oh, you always just say the tricks that you review
are brilliant. And, you know, you never. But the one thing I keep saying is that, well,
I wouldn't have you on here talking about it if I didn't like that's kind of the criteria.
And but but it is genuinely one of those things that on there's lots of tricks with QR codes and
you just think, oh, it's not one of them. And I think actually in in the thinking about it,
you realize there's there's so much more to it. And the thing with inject and,
of course, realist where where can people go, Greg, to various places, I'm sure, but to to find
it's simply RustamiMagic.com. Right. And then so all of my products are on RustamiMagic.com. And
you'll see both of the different ways of getting legacy, both the the legacy cards,
as well as the legacy codes product are available there. And there are
very exact specifications of, you know, exactly what I need from you to be able to process your
order. And so, yeah. And then once you do it, you're you're ready to rock and roll.
And as you've seen in your hand, you know, they're they're very like, here's here's one
of your cards right here, Steve. Yeah, look at that. Well, this is the thing. And I'll just
finish off by saying when when I had these done, these are my old card design. And when you said,
you know, do you want what design you want? And I was like, I'll go for super simple because it's
I'm not saying that's complex, but I know that the guy did it was a specific font and it wasn't
unusual. And then you kind of said, what, like this, and you designed it. It's perfect. And
it's arrived and it's a good quality card. And that's really important. You know, it's not like
kind of it's a I'm happy to give that to people. And it's my my old card. And I've got the space.
So I think that's important to people. So I just say, you know, not not just because you're here,
but I'm very happy with it. So thank you. Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you so much for mentioning
that it is the these what's very, very important to me is that this is obviously a professional
magician's product, you know, and it was important for me to create business cards that feel like a
professional magician's business card, you know, as far as the card stock, the quality of the card
stock and everything else, you know. But even with that said, there are I've had many magicians that
have purchased legacy from me that want their business cards on, like, very exotic business
cards, or we're talking about the ones that are like either clear or like they're metal or whatever,
you know, I have had customers that go all out. And for those customers, definitely please pick
up the digital version of the chart, you know, and so that way, you're free to do whatever you like.
The only difficulty with the digital product when it comes to creating high end business cards,
it's very difficult to approach a printer, where you're saying to them, every card is different.
You know, because they look at you really weird. They're like, what do you mean every card is
different? You know, and and so I have a special relationship with the printer that I work with
that allows me to do this. And then that's essentially the secret that's behind legacy
is that the QR code that's on the back of every one of these cards is different.
You know, and that's what makes the trick work. Because if it wasn't different,
then it would not be able to automatically lock to the last transmission. Which, by the way,
really like a lot of technical people, when I show it to them, they're like, Greg, how does it lock?
Because technically, they can't figure it out. And then the moment I say to them,
every business card has a different QR code on it. And like, Oh, my God. Oh, like, yes.
Yeah, there's 2000 different QR codes on the back of every card.
Well, excellent. Well, thanks so much, Greg. Very much appreciate it.
I will pretend to say goodbye now the screen to go blank and chatting a bit. But thanks so much.
And any questions anybody's got in the comments, and I'll answer them when I can.
Thank you so much. Thank you.
