This 1 Bedroom Cabin Has A Smart Layout! Inside Look!

I'm at one of the most magical and romantic stays here in Pennsylvania. This is the Chalet at the Round Top Estate. Waterfall on the property, there's a pond with a fountain, picturesque landscape, and of course, the one-bedroom chalet. This floor plan is extremely well done, and I think you guys are gonna like this place. Let's go take a tour of it. Welcome back to the channel, everybody. This is the Chalet at the Round Top Estate. I've been here before, featuring their mansion, and they have two other properties, this one being the chalet, and that's what we're gonna be touring today. This is made for couples and a one-bedroom unit. So this property is over 100 acres, and there's a lot to explore, which we'll be getting into it a little bit in this video, but you'll find your way down the paved path to the chalet. It is extremely private. We're deep in the woods here, but the manicured paved driveway is extremely nice, and there are golf carts that you just saw that you can rent as well to explore the property. There's miles and miles of trails here, and it's just all really nice. So that's what I pulled up in, and of course, we have the chalet behind me, the beautiful green color, and it faces this pond. This pond is very magical, with these huge trees all around it, the fountain in the middle, and of course, the pond color is perfect, but we'll continue the exploration on the outside after we head inside. So let's head up to the chalet. So we have to walk on the backside of the chalet with this nice stone path, and then we can enter up through here. Now, if you take a look at the chalet, it is quite large, and I love the stonework they have on this side, and the fact it's sitting on matching stone pillars, so it's elevated off the ground. This gives it a really unique look to it, and of course, the green exterior color looks really well, and it even has that front deck, which we'll be getting into later, but the front door is actually on the backside right here, and we can walk through it right over here. Walking up here, we first have the screened-in porch area. This is really nice if it's raining, or if you just like sitting in a screened-in porch. We have chairs here, and there's even a grill out here, and of course, the screens look out into the pond, the hot tub area, and even the waterfall. We can hear it while we're in here, it's amazing. There's also a doggy door in here as well for this screened-in porch area, which is pretty neat, but the front door is right here in front of me, and we'll walk inside. Walking inside, we're on the back half of the chalet, and immediately, we are in the kitchen space. I think this kitchen is really well done because of the windows we have here. It lets in some good natural light, and of course, we have shiplap on the walls with the white paint. It's bright, but we have the wood tones as well. If we take a look at the floor, this is one of my favorite features, are the antique wood floors in here. There's so much character to it, it looks amazing, and it fits with that cottage chalet feel that we want, but everything else is really updated and luxurious. This kitchen has amazing countertops. I kinda like the blue-gray color for this countertop. Below, we have cabinetry, even a small dishwasher right here, and we even have a full-size refrigerator, so if we look back over here, awesome refrigerator, the microwave above you in the cubby, but going back to the kitchen space, we do have the apron front sink with the chrome fixtures in front of these windows. I just love how they included these windows, but over here, the fun really begins. They leave some donuts here for us, a thank-you card, even a mug for all of the guests, which is incredibly nice with the flowers. We even have the Breville espresso machine right here to make your lattes if you want to do that, and of course, your coffee supplies up on these floating shelves above. Now, behind us, we do have some storage. There is a pantry through this sliding door, and we have a waffle maker in there, a coffee machine as well, even a hot plate. You can just take it out, set it up here, plug it in, and you can cook something if you need to cook something as well, but we'll put it back here in the storage, and that's really nice to have a pantry inside of your small cabin layout. Let's continue. So now coming off the kitchen, we do have your bathroom space. This bathroom is quite spacious for a one-bedroom cabin. I really like it. We have the mirror, say hello, you can see yourself right there, and then the sink below that. I like the size of the sink, and if you need storage or to place your stuff, we do have these floating shelves that are glass right here that also house your towels, and then right next to this, we have the shower space. I love the tiling. It matches that countertop in the kitchen, the chrome fixtures. I like how there's no curtain here or glass doors because we have tiling on the floor, and it's all sloped to be in the shower, so you can just shower here, and you don't have to worry about everything just getting soaking wet. I do like that feature. It makes this more open and spacious, and of course, we do have the toilet over here on the left side. So overall, a very spacious bathroom, and now we make it to the front side of the chalet, which is the living space. The ceilings are open in here. We have windows all above us that let in light, as well as these sliding doors that give us good natural light and good views of the pond right in front of us, but inside, we can sit here and enjoy our time with all of the comfort and the amenities. Let's start with what's behind me. So this is what you'll be facing whenever you're sitting in here. We have a beautiful stone fireplace right here. I love the inclusion of the stone mixed with the wood. You have to have that for a good proper chalet in the woods. This is a propane stove, so you can just turn it on with the click of a button and cozy up in here. Nice seating chair, and of course, a nice little dining spot right next to us over on this side. We do have some shelving over to the left of me, and there's even a picnic basket. So if you take a look at this picnic basket, they leave this here for you. Let's get back with the tour. Now off the living room, we do have this sliding door in our front deck space. Plenty of room out here. We're on top of the pond. Amazing views. We can even see the waterfall right over there. And in front of me, we have the hot tub in this corner. This is an amazing spot for a hot tub, next to this pond and the waterfall, the sound of the trickling water. Very cozy. We do have additional seating, as well as a small dining bistro table there in the corner. Overall, a really enjoyable front deck. Now let's walk back inside. And now walking back in, we have the other side of this living space. We do have a nice, comfortable couch. You can see it's only made for two people. That's because two people will be staying here, and this does recline if you need it to. You can watch the TV that's mounted up on the fireplace, and it's just a nice little spot to sit at. Now we have the steps that take us up to the loft area. Now I love these wood steps. I love the beams that they used for the railing. It is just iron and it's kind of oxidizing, so it's giving that rustic look. It's creative. I haven't seen this really that often, but we'll walk up the steps now, and you'll start to notice there's rose petals leading me up the steps. That's because there's a little surprise up there. So we walk up to the loft, and these rose petals lead us to what is on the bed. So this is a package you can get, a romantic package. For you to surprise your significant other, it makes it a little bit more romantic, and it's just set up for me to show you guys. But up here, it is a very spacious loft. I mean, you can see the ceilings continue to go way up. This isn't small or a tight loft at all. In fact, we do even have a king-size bed in here with really nice pillows and linens, lights on both sides, windows as well. Over here where I'm standing, we have storage, a dresser for all of your stuff, as well as a closet inside. You can hang up your clothes, put your luggage in there if you need to. We'll close that right back up, and we can continue walking around the bed. There's some robes and even a mirror up here to get ready at, but there's one thing that really surprised me up here. And what really surprised me is what's behind this door. You'd think it's another closet, but it's a half bathroom. They have a toilet and a really small sink here in the corner. It fits perfectly inside. I'll show you. I can fit well right here, and that's about it. But it's all you need. I get a lot of comments of people not liking being close to the bathroom, especially in a unique small home. This one has the toilet right up here in the loft space for you to use. And I think that'll be a benefit for a lot of people that want that, so you don't have to climb all the way down the steps to go down and then climb all the way back up here. So really cool feature that they included that. And it's not just another closet. And now we have the rest of the property to explore. There's actually a lot of thought that went into this and effort, and it's a beautiful setting out here. I just walked across these stones that have the waterfalls coming down into different pools with the stones all around, and this flows right into your pond. I love the sound of this. I love the beauty of this. I would actually suggest spending your time outside more than inside on this property because it is just so gorgeous. Out here, we also have a little fire pit and a couple of chairs to enjoy the waterfall and enjoy the pond. If you're gonna be spending your time outside, one really nice benefit is you can walk all around the pond. This is where the chalet really shines because you get good views of it. You can see the fountain in front of the chalet. It is picture perfect. This looks like a Bob Ross painting, if you ask me. But one nice feature around here, you'll see different areas to hang out at like this stone. You can sit here and enjoy the pond and the view. You get the waterfall, the fountain, and the chalet. This is just a picture perfect landscape, and it actually smells amazing out here. Nature has a smell, and it is really nice. I mean, that's what candles and air fresheners try to mimic, nature, but they'll never exactly get it because nature is fresh, it's dynamic, and candles and air in a can is never quite fresh. So you'll really soak it in when you're here, and that's one aspect I really like about this chalet. We'll hop back onto our electric golf cart, and we can explore the property.
