week in my life: nyc summer, how i pack for trips, florida time

Good morning everybody! What's up? Welcome back to another weekend in my life in New York City. Ryan and I went to a diner, had breakfast, it was so nice. It's Saturday morning. The Knicks won last night, it was such a fun night. Like, New York was electric and honestly everyone's wearing Knicks stuff today, I wish we'd thought of that. Also, Ryan and I are on our matcha journey, as you guys know, before we go to Japan. So we walked by Blank Street and I just grabbed Ryan and we went in and because I wanted to try the iced strawberry shortcake matcha. We both tried it. I made a TikTok, you guys can go watch, but it's like good. But I actually think I just like, if I'm gonna do matcha, I liked the iced matcha latte I had better. Like, more of that tea taste rather than like totally masking it with a ton of sweetness. It's just really sweet. What did you think, Ryan? It tastes like a milkshake. Yeah. Better than the first one, I guess. Yeah, it's better than- Ryan just got matcha over ice, basically. I just, I don't know, guys. I don't know. What are you doing, Ryan? Getting me some flowers. Getting me some flowers? Alright. What do you think I would like? Some flowers, usually. I think I want peonies. Peonies. Now, you don't want them too bloomed, you want them to be closed up. We're teaching Ryan things right now. And then it's like the lighter versus the darker. I think I like the darker pink. I guess so. Yeah, they should open up. Yeah. Do I want more? No, it's okay. Let's do just those. Thank you. Thank you. So pretty. The UV is five and it's only going up. It's a perfect Saturday, sunny day. Kelly's gonna come over and we're gonna go to my roof and tan because I'm feeling pasty and I just wanna be done with getting spray tans for the summer. I'm wearing this little cute Amazon bikini. I love the yellow and brown combo. Packed a little bag of sunscreen, water, the essentials. Gonna bring up some towels. And we're just gonna sit in the sun and tan. It's just the perfect little Saturday. I hope that not everyone in this building had the same idea. That is a concern. But there's hopefully enough seating. Hey! Wait, that's so helpful. I'm showing her my new camera. Also, guys, look, she brought a whole fruit plate. I love it. Thank you. Yeah, it's like the One Hotel. And we have Meadow Lane on the way. We're being really basic. But, you know, this is the life. That's so crazy. Just a casual cruise ship. Vibes are so high. What time is it? It's five o'clock. I came out here at like almost one o'clock. I better freaking have some color when I go down. We are just having the best time. There's no one else up here. Kelly just went down to the bathroom. But we've been listening to the new Drake albums, eating our Meadow Lane salad. Life is great. Like, the sun is just... And we've just had the best chats. Like, I'm just so grateful. I love times like that. Ryan's just been at the gym this whole time vibing. And then him and I are having such a planless day. Like, we'll see where the evening takes us. I don't know. I don't know what we'll do tonight. But I love that. I love that I don't have plans. This is so nice. The sun feels so good. And like, this is my favorite. I call this like... My mom calls this the bronzing hour. When the sun starts to set and like the ocean gets... Well, that's the river. But like, the water gets like sparkly. And the sun actually feels even more powerful in a way. And I feel like it really locks in your tan. I'm like, if I sit out here, it's like, I'll lock it in. And then I just got a notification that there's a severe thunderstorm warning tonight in New York. That's my dream day. Oh my god. Is being out in the sun all day, coming inside, showering, and it starts to rain. Like, with no plans to leave, obviously. Oh my god, it's so cozy. Like the sound of the thunder and you've been outside all day, but now you're in. We better get it. I'm back in the apartment. Showered. Cozy. Skincare on. Ryan's on the couch. We're about to watch Netflix and order some food. And it totally looks like it's gonna rain. Which obviously the forecast says it's going to, but it totally looks like it. I am just so cozy right now. Ryan opened the windows so we could feel like the breeze that's coming in from like the storm. I've gotten like multiple warnings on my phone, like severe thunderstorm warning. I really want to hear thunder though. Like I need to hear it. Okay. Now this is getting weird. Like I'm getting a little too excited. Oh, it's coming. This is so Florida of me. I feel like it just keeps getting cozier and cozier. I just turned the lamp on for a little ambiance, but wow. We ordered new dining chairs. They're literally very similar to our current ones. Like basically the same. However, they're a different color to add some color to the apartment. And I told Ryan I was going to, you know, hire a task rabbit to build these. And he's like, no, I want a rainy day project. So I think he's going to build these literally while we watch TV. Are you normal? Or do you have the MyRadar app? I think this is a Florida thing. Cause like if it would be on the boat and stuff. Oh, my dad's getting Thai food and watching Lost. How cute. Also, I was a little nervous about getting the closed up peonies, but they're already starting to open up a little. And I'm happy with our decision. We ordered from two different places because we couldn't decide. I'm eating from a place called Three Times. I order from Often. I got the pork soup dumplings and some chicken fried rice. Ryan got Mikado. Sushi. Sushi. I'll let you open it. Sorry. Smells like sushi. Woo. Yeah. Getting ready for. Oh, that's gorgeous, though. Look at that whole set up. I wish I ate sushi like that. I only eat California rolls. I asked Ryan to flip my egg. Usually you're not here. Thank you. The signature. Appreciate. Good morning, everybody. Happy Sunday. It's already UV-7 outside. I was planning to get my life together today, which I will, but it's only noon. Delaney is going to come over now that we're like literally neighbors and we're going to lay on the roof till 2 p.m., we decided, and then we'll disperse and get our stuff done. But until then, I need to work on my tan. So I know this like doesn't match at all these shorts, but this bathing suit is from the brand Affirm. I really like their clothes. It's A-F-R-M. How cute. I love the little bead, but we're going to head to the roof. I'm going to have my coffee up there, chat with my girl, and then we'll be more productive later. Okay. Okay. I stuck to my word. I stayed out in the sun until two and now I'm going to head down to the gym. How cute is this set from Beyond Yoga? I've been loving blue and green. Blue and green have been really enjoying, but I just think this is so cute. Honestly, Beyond Yoga has been one of my favorites recently, like for workout, because I just love this like space dye material. It's very, very comfortable. And how cute is this halter? And then I thought, let's do an orange claw clip for the next, because I'm psychotic. Literally going to our apartment gym, but you know, you know, and I'm going to be really annoying and put eye patches on too, because I'm just going downstairs. I mean, I've worn this to the gym too. What am I saying once again? But, ooh, you know what? Let me wipe the sunscreen off my face before we sweat. I had not much motivation to work out today. I just wasn't in the mood because I've been doing Equinox classes and I just wasn't in the mood to do one today. And then I remember I saw this girl Mia post about the fact that one Love Island episode is 13,000 steps on a treadmill if you do three X or three speed. So I like, I think I'm 10 minutes into the episode from Friday night. So I'm just going to start from, you know, where, so we'll see how many steps I get to and if her theory is correct, but watching Love Island while on the treadmill, I feel like you'll just be so distracted. And then I'll just do like, maybe I'll try another Gabby George bright alarms while I'm down there. And then I'll have my workout for the day. And then we'll come up here and be productive and I'll feel great. That's my plan. So I'm so excited because Delaney told me when we were outside, she was saying that Friday night's episode was really juicy drama. Good. And apparently there's a new bombshell that enters the villa. So I'm excited. I've tried to avoid spoilers. I feel like Love Island just shouldn't air on the weekends because that's when we're all busy. Anyways, let's go. Workout is done. We're cleaning the fridge for lunch. I'm making some turkey cheese roll-ups. Very exciting. Let's dig in. I'm keeping up with the Knicks motif. I love wearing big, comfy, soft shirts. So I found this one from Airy. I bought, I think a double XL and it's like a, it's so comfortable, so comfortable. Um, we're going to make an iced coffee. I forgot. Literally this machine is the best, by the way, this is a DeLonghi Revelia. Love it. Love it so, so much. I, one of the reasons we got it is because you can have two different bean hoppers. So in this one we have decaf, which I need to refill. And then this one's caffeinated. So if you like to be able to switch in between, that's really nice. A lot of espresso machines, you can't do that. And then also we liked this one because you have so many options of drinks to make, but it's like, it's grinding the beans. Like it's not like an espresso in the way that there's like a pot, like it's truly the beans, but then you just have so many options. So I think I'm going to try and make an iced coffee. Ryan said there's an option for that. Oh yeah. Iced coffee. Use one of my weck jars. And I'm going to do some hazelnuts here. I just need to remember to take melatonin before I go to bed tonight. Okay. Iced coffee. Medium? Sure. How cold do you want your drink today? I feel like I want, well, I don't know. Just regular? I have no idea. Oh, so start by adding six ice cubes. I feel like I'll add the ice cubes after. This is very, very small. Your coffee is ready. Okay. Maybe. And it's hot. I'm so confused. Ryan! Should I have said extra cold? It still came out hot. Oh, maybe they do it extra so the ice like... I'm going to do one more like batch because that was small. I hope I don't regret this. Okay. That's a better size, I would say. I'll add some ice. And then I wanted to do iced coffee so I drink less dairy because I already had like a latte this morning. So now I'm just going to add some cream. I mean, that looks pretty good actually. Let's give it a try. Pretty good. Definitely like watered down but I guess that's why it's coffee because otherwise I'd be having a lot of espresso beans. Maybe a little more hazelnuts here. You know, this is the first time I'm making it like this. I don't know. Now for the project I've been putting off quite literally all weekend but it is time and it's not actually going to take that long. I just slowly have started to let clean clothes pile up on this ladder right here and we just can't have that, you know? That's... nope. That's not good. I've let things that I've worn throughout the weekend just be on the floor because I'm like, yeah, I'm just going to do it all later anyways. And then I also would like to pack... these are a few things I want to bring. I'm headed to Tampa and then from Tampa to Wisconsin for Ryan's family reunion and like a wedding. But I also want to pack a carry-on because I'm going on lots of different planes and I honestly just love this bag so much. It makes me so happy that like I like to and then I might do my duffel with it on top so that I have like a little extra space rather than just like my carry-on tote bag. I don't know. We're gonna... we're gonna mess around here and see. Ryan's making us hello fresh. This is literally my favorite meal ever. Creamy I love when I can see the floor of my closet. It's very lovely and I'm just really impressed with how much I've maximized the space like the ceiling and the hat rack. I'm pretty proud of myself. I'm watching this new show on Netflix because Kelly told me to try it. I haven't decided if I'm gonna keep watching or not. It's called Calabasas Confidential. It's a reality show but I just need to put those few things away and this is how... I literally have my bathing suits and then like my beach hats and I just put them in my closet like this and I need to figure out a better way to organize my swimsuits honestly. Also this was in my closet and I was like Finley's gonna come back out. How happy is my suitcase? Going home is so easy because I keep a lot of like workout clothes and stuff at my house and I basically just wear that in bathing suits so I put all my bathing suits in this little bag here and then I rented a dress from Fashion Pass for the wedding we have in Wisconsin. We're doing like a boat day so I brought a casual outfit, jeans, a couple just like casual tanks and then two pairs of like pajamas slash loungewear and then I don't know exactly what I'm wearing to the airport yet but maybe I'll wear this Dairy Poi cashmere sweater or I have a package from Viore coming tomorrow with like really good like travel outfit stuff so waiting to get that but I'm really happy and then tomorrow I'll just add toiletries. I even put my shoes in a dust bag. I've got my Revlon Versa Styler the best so I'll just add toiletries tomorrow and then underwear and I'll wear my sneaker. Yeah we're like set already and I haven't even needed to put anything in here yet but you know I still have my toiletries and stuff. Anyways I don't know if you guys care about this but I'm really impressed. Smells so good whatever this is. Oh yeah the cilantro. I want to show you guys the new pillows we got for our couch. I've always kind of wondered why don't we put pillows on the couch and then my friend Aubrey who's an interior designer recommended we get a few and I'm loving them. We had two with this brown with like cream stripe and then this one's actually from Zara Home which I really really liked. Very very very exciting stuff. I like it. This is so exciting. Is the sauce in there? Oh yeah Wow lots of sauce. There you go. Thank you so so so much. Trying to keep the majority. Yes I actually noticed you did that and that's really nice because I don't really like spice so wow. Kitchen is all cleaned up. Dinner was so delicious. I'm saying goodbye to Ryan because I genuinely count how many outfits I've been in today but I'm headed over to Kelly's apartment. She invited me over to watch tonight's episode of Love Island so Ryan's lucky he doesn't have to sit through it. But yeah I'm just gonna go over there for the new episode that comes out at 9 and then come back so I'm excited. I just put on a sweatshirt and matching leggings and I'm so excited because oh my gosh did I even update you guys watching Friday's episode on the Tribal? That episode was spicy and also super dramatic so I'm curious because we got that male bombshell Corbin if there's gonna be a female bombshell tonight like that. Oh no I heard him say like someone's gonna get sent home tonight because then it'll be like even. I'm just turning off all the lights in here before I head out but yeah oh my gosh I'm so excited. It's so fun to have a show to look forward to like honestly multiple times. Look who's here. It's like a home video. Guys we're so cozy. They're about to do the recoupling. Kelly got us cookies. I follow this Instagram account that like rates New York City's weather that day and it did say 10 out of 10. So we love that. I'm headed to Body Sculpt at Equinox with Katis and then we'll get coffee after. I'm how should I share Joe's yogurt. I just like to put on a little skincare a little something. Today is my last day in New York for a week so you know it's getting all those things done but I think I'll be pretty productive today. Tomorrow I head to Tampa and I'm so excited to see my dad and just like see how good he's doing and then go Wisconsin like I said and then next week I get back Monday and we leave next Thursday for Japan. Yeah so crazy. So honestly I've already gotten a lot done for Japan like outfits wise, putting things aside like packing, prepping so that next week because we'll only have two days. Two days here in between for the biggest trip we've ever been on in our entire lives. So no biggie but it's gonna be great. It's gonna be great. It's gonna be amazing. I've been really loving this Rare Beauty tinted brow gel that they came out with because I never want to fill in my brows but they definitely could use it like there's sparse areas and I feel like this just perfectly does it. It doesn't look too much. I don't know maybe it's placebo. Maybe I'm crazy and I'm also really loving this from The Ordinary the lash curl finisher. You're supposed to curl your lashes and then this like sets it as almost like a clear mascara but since I have my lash lifting tint right now I just use this to like set the curls and like keep them up. Keep them up. My hair looks insane actually. I'm literally always the second one to the class and Cass is always the person who gets my mat and like waits for me and I feel bad and I don't want that to happen today so we gotta go. It's 64 out so I don't know if that's like a chilly 64 degrees or not but I'm gonna throw this on and then I know a lot of you hate these sunglasses but I don't. I had a lovely little breakfast and coffee chat with Cass and now we're back. I have like 30 minutes until I need to leave to my orthodontist appointment so as you guys know I'm packing my carry-on and I don't know why I feel like I'm gonna need to consolidate even more because I have like really big toiletry bags and I just kind of feel like giving myself a challenge like I don't know why. I think because I'm going to Florida and Wisconsin. I'm going to be wearing makeup probably like three times in total and it's like a very low maintenance trip for both like I don't know so I was just like let me I got these bags from base. I'm gonna see about because I also I put my makeup in this big old thing which I love like don't get me wrong obsessed but for this trip I don't even need all my makeup products really so I'm gonna see about putting my hair and like skincare and stuff in these two because they're just more compact and then for my big makeup bag I have this from the road PR and this just is like less structured and it'll just be easier because I also really want to we have someone that comes to our house like a few times a week to help my dad like now my dad at one point had like 24-hour care and then every day just not at night and now we're to like just a couple times a week to kind of I don't know just help with a couple things and I really like her she's so sweet and she like knows I do social media for a living whatever so I packed this makeup bag with just like all kinds of products and just random things that I've gotten that haven't been used obviously to give to her just like as a thank you for literally taking care of my dad and I feel like she'll like all these things so I want to be able to fit this in here as well as what I'm trying to say so actually I guess I could do the duffel method I just I don't really know what I'm doing but I'm just deciding to give myself a challenge this one is definitely small but we're gonna start with this and what's like the most important I definitely need to bring my real glazing milk definitely need to bring my cleansing what is this cleansing oil and then I'm gonna throw in I just love these 4am skin um like clean sheets they're makeup wipes but they have skincare on them and I just really like them so I'm gonna bring those in case I get lazy and don't want to like take a shower to I need like a face wash as well so we're gonna do Tatcha and then what else oh yeah so I guess I need my road barrier butter it's like a moisturizer to lock it in and then I'm trying to be consistent with this Caudalie brightening dark spot serum so we'll bring that oh you know what I might bring this one instead I've been really liking this Caudalie cleansing oil just and then a brow gel bring my face sunscreen in here oh wow I'm putting a lot in this small one haha put a few of these on the very bottom this is kind of satisfying because I always just have these packed for when I travel so this is the first time I'm actually like packing it I just refill them based off of what I need okay I'm just about done here I don't think it's gonna fit much more and then I'll put a rude lippy like lip balm in there I'll throw a couple pimple patches just in case I need those oh now let's see I want my tweezers I want to keep up with dermaplaning I'm gonna put one of these in here I definitely want to bring this ordinary the lash curl finisher I really like that okay and this is the small one let's see oh that is so sad and honestly it's nice I can see everything okay one down and I'm not doing this always this is just because I'm carrying on okay now we have the big one to work with because my hair product's honestly a little bigger yeah this is like all kinds of things my deodorant hairspray leave-in conditioner razor toothbrush oh this reminds me I need more toothpaste for my travel I'm gonna bring my divi hair serum because it's good if you're doing a slick back and it's just good for your scalp I'm gonna bring this it has hair ties but then also clear hair ties and bobby pins like it's just good to have I'm gonna throw a few more clear hair ties in there and then some regular hair ties as well this is really nice it came from this brand and I just kind of added to it but it's just perfect it's got all so that everything's not like roaming around your bag this is my little like detangler brush so it's good when your hair is wet um it's barbie themed but I just like that it's mini dry shampoo this is the k-18 air wash and then I do like to bring a roller this one's awesome because it's velcro so you don't need a clip this is um bondi boost I'm gonna throw a thing of these in here these are my retainer cleaners for my Invisalign and then my Invisalign case because starting today once I get my new aligners I'm gonna have to wear them during the day again floss sticks because I'm trying to be better at flossing now I usually like honestly will that fit this honestly might fit I like to this is just nice when I'm doing my makeup but it's not necessary oh and then I need a perfume let me go find one oh hey I'm in my travel products area I just want to see if I have any like small perfumes I thought for sure I did oh I found one let's see what the scent is when the rain stops I think I like this one yes perfect so we will have this in my bag and I'm also gonna see if I can fit this rare beauty body lotion normally I don't bring a body lotion because I'm at a hotel but we're staying in an airbnb in Wisconsin and I don't want to assume sometimes I feel like airbnbs they leave out products for you but also kind of like I don't know if I want to use these so I'm gonna just assume that I need to bring my own okay perfume lotion all right look at me paring down oh and then oh I do need a slick back brush my slick back brush this in here I mean fam yeah I travel late no big deal I'm also paring down from this big hole like this is actually I need to go through this and clean this out of like what's in here for more seasonal like summery stuff this is normally what I throw in my checked bag for jewelry which I love but I also have this smaller one from quince I just have like two pairs of like bigger earrings and then my go-to hoops which I've popped in there and then a couple rings I'm wearing my other ones right now yeah this will be my little jewelry thing maybe I shouldn't move these here easy enough okay I'm about to have to leave for the orthodontist I'm basically done I am just gonna do a little laundry and I want to add one more workout set here I decided I am gonna do duffel so I can fit the products I want to give to our girl and then this will be with my sunglasses I'll pack those later and then I've got my other little pouches also I've had this for so long and I was like where is this gonna go I don't know I decided this little hotel teddy bear from say looks so cute Lauren Wolfe always adds like bag charms to her duffel and I want to do that so we'll see if that one stays but I think good for now yay just left my Invisalign appointment I just love my orthodontist he is the best and these liners feel more fitted to my teeth he was like yeah since we did like another scan that would make sense and now I don't have the rubber band like hole on each side so now I feel like you can't tell as much maybe I'm bugging but like there's no I feel like it's less obvious now which I like so that's good and now I'm gonna head to like a photo lab that I found nearby because I found like six disposable cameras from college that need to be developed but it would just be a disservice to myself and all my friends for me to not get these developed finally so I'm gonna bring them there drop them off and I'm gonna go buy some mini toothpaste then we'll head home I'm just saying prepare to be sick of me and this rooftop like any time I can now spend up here I will Cass this morning was like are you doing any work today on your roof perchance and I said oh yeah you can come on over so she grabbed his lunch actually which I really appreciate so I didn't get grocery since I'm traveling tomorrow and we're gonna work on the roof for like an hour an hour and a half and I decided to put on just a little bikini top because why not and of course of course I brought my laptop tent so I can work and I was gonna set up before she got here but now I'm kind of wondering where she's gonna want to sit we could either do here or I mean we could sit there but it's hard to work or there's these benches so I'm thinking either this or that we shall see hi I showered a lot or actually an early dinner I guess because I had lunch earlier and I'm now sitting on my floor I was filming content for Aritzia actually so I need to change because I'm about to go podcast but I'm wrapping up a Brooke and Ben's engagement gift I've obviously gotten Brooke a few things but I wanted to get something to both of them so you guys know or if you don't know I'll show you again I got them two different like Lego sets with photos of them I think this is so cute because they love Legos they literally have like a Lego art piece on their wall so I thought this was fun they could like try and put it back together or I don't know you know this is how it came and then this one just came like this so I think this is so cute and then the other day when I was shopping I just came across this jelly cat which is an engagement ring just like for fun for cutesies and then on top of that I am giving them a photo shoot with Madison Lane Photo who is one of Brooke and I's longtime friends at this point and just like an amazing photographer and I know Brooke loves her Ben knows who she is whatever so I'm gonna write on the little thing like because I already talked to Madison about it and she's so down so like I'll just pay for a basically like not an engagement shoot but just more photos for them to you know if they want to use for save the dates or something because I know like when Brooke got engaged like she truly did not know that it was happening because I don't even think she wore mascara or she did like a five minute face she said so and the photos are literally beautiful but it's fun to just have more photos and they can decide to do the shoot whenever they want so I'm gonna write that on a little card I'm doing this right now because I want to bring it to the podcast recording so that I can give it to them or Brooke and I don't know I might make her open it there depending on how much time we have or I'll have her bring it home and open it with Ben maybe she opens it with Ben I don't know I really want to see her reaction though and yeah so I'm gonna get dressed and then we'll head to the podcast recording okie dokie headed to the podcast studio it's the craziest thing because the podcast studio recording today is right near MSG and that is where the next game is happening and so I'm just leaving so early I'm taking the train up there but I just I think some streets are closed and like I assume the subway will be fine but I don't know I just want to make sure in case subway carts are like packed I don't know but here's my outfit this is my outfit for podcasting and then headed to a bar after with some friends to watch the game I think we're going to Wogees so I'm just kind of like doing whatever Ryan's doing I'm like just tell me where to be because when we finish podcasting the game is starting so I'm just gonna like zoom to wherever people are but I asked Brooke I was like is it okay if I wear the hat on the podcast because I just want to be a part of something like on my walk they're like go next go next yeah so anyways here's my outfit Brooke is kind of just doing same vibes this halter top is amazing it is unfortunately sold out but if it ever comes back in stock I will relink it on my stories it's from revolve but there are I have some like this from Amazon like this is just like nice and double lined which I like and then these are actually Jacquemus jeans but just a little black and white vibe and then I pulled out my Nike dunks I haven't worn these in so long and then this Knicks hat so I'm excited I also got some more color today which I'm really happy about and yeah I'm gonna make a nice latte to go we're gonna take the train all right go New York go I'm certainly glad I got here early because I'm in Penn Station right now and the 8th Avenue exit is completely closed and that's I think where I was yeah that's where our podcast studio is on so oh are these oscillators closed too how the heck am I gonna get up I need to get outside we made it we're taking thumbnails the most awkward part just commuting together post-show headed to watch the Knicks the Knick game city's electric crying literally I am so glad I got to experience that it was so fun we went to Wogees and it worked out that one of Cass's friends had a reservation and like wasn't able to go so we got her reservation at Wogees and then Kelly came I didn't know she was coming it was like the bet well I knew she might come but she was on set for a shoot all day whatever so it was just so fun and literally at one point because Wogees is right on the corners in West Village and the bar was so that like every time we scored everyone went crazy was so fun oh I just love that morning with my brother and my dad today I had a lot of computer work to get done so it's not like a full tan day or anything and I want to like hang out with my dad because um our caregiver that comes a few times a week isn't here today but she loved the makeup and stuff I brought her oh she was so excited it made my day I need to bring her more next time like that but yeah I'm just wearing like my workout outfit sitting in the sun for just just a second you know feels so nice came in from being outside and was just walking Finley just doing things around the house how stinking cute is this set from Athaletta it's adorable I slicked my hair back put some divi like hair scalp serum felt right we'll do a big hair wash tomorrow so cute my mom brought us fresh kitchen which is so freaking good this is my exact order and because my dad and my brother don't care a lot so they're just gonna eat my order we've got oh it's teriyaki chicken and then the sweet potato noodles but they're so good they like don't taste like they're not sweet they're just sweet potato noodles then we've got broccoli and cauliflower mash and they gave us bowls I'm very excited thanks mom you guys already know the drill just finished Love Island and me and Finley are going to bed good night morning everybody it's Friday and I'm still here I was supposed to be leaving like right about now but unfortunately my boyfriend and his sister were flying to Wisconsin from New York last night and all flights were canceled to oh they were flying to Chicago and all the flights to Chicago were canceled last night I think there's some bad weather and then today all the flights were unavailable I don't know if they're sold out or also canceled whatever because my flight was fine and on time anyways they literally couldn't get a flight until tomorrow morning Saturday morning which I feel so bad because tomorrow is the wedding we're going to and a boat day and all these things so they're taking the first flight out and I they were like why don't you just wait to fly in when we get there since their reunion so I'm landing around the same time as them tomorrow so I did get an extra day at home which was so fun telling my family last night they were you know sad but also excited so and I'm not mad about it either I love being here as well So I'm about to take Finley for a walk and guys I'm addicted to capri specifically because I don't always like to wear shorts but it's so hot in the summer I still like to wear some sort of like more legging type fit so capris are perfect I don't get as hot so this I'm like obsessed with these beyond yoga sets and we're gonna go take Finley for a walk and listen to my podcast have like my morning routine my dad and I sat outside for literally two hours this morning he hasn't sat outside that long since all this started so it was a really nice progression and just good vibes so let's go for a walk we're getting a little workout in came outside for a little sun came in from being out in the sun and uv was nine today I wore my sunscreen but I like don't always put sunscreen on my legs because I feel like it's really hard to get your legs tan and I should have worn sunscreen on my legs because my left thigh specifically has like a weird splotch it's sunburned but oh well I'm just happy to have like vitamin d it feels so good it's it's 4 45 I just made myself an afternoon latte and I've got another episode of love island tonight I have some work I want to get done and yeah so I'm gonna end the vlog here because I'm just gonna do laundry
