Natural Ice-Ramp on a Private Lake at my former Work

Hey guys, what's up? I'm Patrick from Alpine Ice Freestyle and today I'm here at my workplace where I've already been jumping off this roof in the summer. Now it's winter and this lake has ice. This hotel is closed now. This is private ground so nobody's allowed to enter. It's so private lake. I'm now having a look if I can make this ice scalable till tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the best day of the week, sunny the whole day. Today it should stop snowing sometime, hopefully. I've been here a few days ago drilling holes into the ice to check the thickness of the ice. So we have 8 to 10 centimeters but as you can already see the problem is that through the extra load of the snow the water is coming out here. We have a small layer of water on the ice surface here with the snow and yeah I have to bring that water away to make this thing scalable. Let's do work, then hopefully the water which is on the surface gets frozen and I have a beautiful ice surface tomorrow. That's the hope. Let's see how it goes. Now let's see if this useless mess snow wet thing is useful at least for something. If this thing really works then I will hate myself for building it that far on the side. Looks good but I have no idea what's going to happen till tomorrow. Just hope the best. All right guys it's the next day and look what we got here. This is my private lake. Not just for today. As long as there is ice I can use it because as I said this is the place where I work, this is the hotel where I work, this is the place where I have to go to work every day, this is the place where I live and now I am already on the ice. This is the messed up part of yesterday but even this one turned great and the place I cleaned is just... This is so awesome. Now let's test my self-made ice ramp. Look at that. I guess this thing works. Absolutely solid. Going to be an amazing day. Sun is bright and shiny. I'm alone. Private perfect ice. Could not be better. Let's enjoy this ice. Look at people and I wonder all day. Who are you when you are not the one in your way? And then I think about myself when I stayed. I'm a pretty boss. Look how much your brain washed. I'm a freak in the sheets. But I got close. I'ma grab an ice if you want it. Best you ever had. Give it to your life. I'm the girl that they don't talk about. Quiet with a big mouth. Listen for the doubt then call it. Make you out for what you say to me. Look at every single date. If you got what I need then oh. I'll take you on like a big deal. Eggs you can hunt. The sun is gone now but this was definitely not the last day on this private lake here. I'm the only one who's going to use it so I'm going to clean it up now that I have more epic ice here another time. Don't know yet. Yeah what should I say. This is the place where I work. This is the I live in the summer when I work and in winter now I have a private lake. Couldn't be better. Anyway I will now clean up this mess because I heavily used this ice even if it was just three hours. Probably will try to make this jumping spot here a little bit better. All right guys so sun is about to leave us for this day so hopefully we're getting a pretty cold night. It looks like cloudy probably snowing this night but look at this. If this gets frozen before the snow falls we will have epic ice tomorrow. Yeah see you tomorrow. Hey guys now we are exactly one month later and this is what we have left from this. Yeah guys and that's the moment when the audio in the camera died. What I'm saying is that this is all that is left from my skating place. Just one month later all you can find is this thing which is left from the jumping area. You could still see the places where I was going with my skates by the way. Everything else was melted except a thin layer of ice that was left but I guess it disappeared on the same day. Then yeah it was working still to throw some stones on it. And yeah throwing more stones on it for whatever reason I had in that moment. But yeah this was a time when every skating could have been my last skating and then I got an idea how I can finally take the jumping area back out of the water for a last time to say goodbye. I had so nice days on this ice surface just one month ago. As I said this time this is late February when I made these images and at the same time I had my last skating days a few days later. Every skating day could have been the last skating day so saying goodbye to skating is pretty hard when you don't know when the last day of skating is. Now you see the jumping area, still see my tracks of the skates. Yeah and then I found a very special way to yeah the tracks of a very special way to say goodbye to the season. Fly you're free fly! Yeah and that's it with the season there. I had a few more skatings just on my own but the lakes melted, the ice rinks were closed for you know the reason. So that was one way to say goodbye to the ice skating season for me and of course that's also the end of the video.
