Inside a Stunning £795,000 5 Bedroom Family Home in Norfolk

Hey New Build Show, I'm Millie and today we're going to be exploring Harmony House, a beautiful five-bedroom detached home in Dursingham, Norfolk. In case you haven't heard of Dursingham before, it is a charming village in Norfolk and it's situated right by the North Norfolk coastline. It's also just a short drive away from the Royal Sandringham Estate, which is formerly the country retreat of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, so it's a lovely area. There's lots to explore around here as well, there's pubs, there's restaurants, you have everything all in this one village. Now, first impressions are everything and Harmony House definitely delivers. We have this striking contemporary facade and I love the mix of the wood, the white render and the dark framed glazing. It gives that Scandinavian inspired look. Now, as you access property, we have a shingle driveway, which gives that nice relaxed coastal feel. There's also ample parking, so it's a bit of a party house, which you'll see. There is plenty of parking options for your guests. We have off-road parking just in front of me as well. Now, over here on the left, we have a beautifully landscaped garden, but that is not the best garden. Wait until you see the one at the back. Now, today's tour is especially exciting because all of you watching at home actually have the chance to win this house. Now, just last week, we toured a similar home to this in Norfolk and one of you guys was watching one of our videos and thought, I'll give it a go. I'll enter. Now, just behind the car, we also have a very sleek integrated garage and you never know, you could win the house and car, and that'll be a great place to put the new Range Rover. But for now, let's head inside and check it out. Welcome inside. What an impressive entrance hallway. We have on the flooring, these large format tiles and they're in a polished concrete, so it gives it that real premium feel with a nice contemporary edge too. There's also so much natural light coming in here from the skylight above and it's just incredibly spacious. Now, this ground floor has everything. It all flows together really nicely and this feeds into the open plan spaces. Now, before we go any further, it's worth noting that also on this floor behind me, we have a toilet and also a gym, but we will show you those later. You may have also noticed we've got some nice curved architectural features in the entrance hallway. So this gold wall here actually conceals quite a few different storage points. We've got a cloakroom and also a storage cupboard just there. Now, immediately what caught my eye when I walked in was this staircase, floating staircase, which is made up of these black vertical balustrades and just adds a real point of interest as you walk in. But for now, let's go and explore the kitchen. Welcome to your kitchen. Now, this would be a great place to entertain and host. In the middle, we have this central island, which is granite and it has this nice waterfall edge. We also have this lovely brass detailing above on the pendant light, and this is complemented by the brass on the chairs. But over here, let's have a little explore. We have got this rustic barn style door, which conceals your pantry so you can keep the kitchen looking nice and beautiful and keep all of your stuff tucked away in here. Now, let's explore the kitchen itself. Okay, so in classic New Build Show style, we're going to have a real explore of this kitchen because if you win this house, I'm sure you're going to want to see where you're going to put all of your things. We have a lot of storage here, which we love to see. So here, this would be a good place for your utensils. And over here, we've got some cleaning essentials and then more space here for utensils. I mean, they really made the most of every corner. They could fit a bit of storage in that as a nice thin cupboard. Now, over here as well, we have got completely integrated appliances, which looks super sleek and matches how sleek the kitchen already looks with the black cabinetry. Over here as well, you've got glass cabinetry, so you can display any of your nice wine glasses. And then further along here, more integrated appliances. You've got your oven and microwave and then just behind me there, your full height fridge and freezer. Now, this space has just really been well thought through for modern family living. You can see it now. You're sat here cooking a nice dinner for your family. The kids are sat there doing their homework or you could even be sat there having a nice glass of wine. And finally, before we leave the kitchen, we also have a hidden door here and this leads to your utility room. Your utility room is basically like another kitchen. It's such a great size. You have everything you need in here. You've got your washer and dryer, a separate sink and also so many more storage options. Now, this is going to be the place that you're going to put all of the stuff you don't want on show in your kitchen to keep it looking nice and tidy. It also has direct access out to your garden, so the perfect place to come in for muddy dog walks and also access out to your garage. Now, I know I mentioned the family aspect of this home, but I can't help but imagine how great it would be to throw a party here. I mean, imagine you've just won this house for £1.99, you get all your family and friends over and have a party out here. That would be pretty cool. Up here, we have a large raised patio and plenty of seating options. So, you've got a sofa bed over there to my left and then also another seating area and you even get a hot tub. Now, on the lawn here, we have got artificial grass, which is super easy to maintain and you essentially have half a football pitch in your own garden. So, great if you've got kids and there's also a tree house. Welcome back inside. So, this section here is your dining area and it's really nice that we're well connected here still. You've got the kitchen just there and a nice little seating area just behind me. Now, it's worth noting if you were to win the house, it doesn't come furnished. However, Seven Days have allocated £20,000 within the prize for you to spend on your own furnishing. So, personally, I'd go for a bigger table in here. I've mentioned hosting and having people over in here, so you could definitely get a larger table to fit more people or whatever you'd like to suit your own style. Now, we're going to explore the snug and in here, we've switched to a wood herringbone flooring and the great thing about this room is it feels separate in here, but if you did want to still be connected to the kitchen or you had guests over, you can easily open them up and it all flows together nicely. But when you do want to pop on your favourite film and get a little bit cosy, you can just close those doors off and it's like a little retreat in here. Right, there are a couple more rooms to explore on this ground floor, but first of all, I didn't mention this little spot over here, which is very cute and would be great for a photo just before you leave the house. Now, over here, as I mentioned earlier, we have got a gym and then in here is your downstairs toilet. Now, this toilet is perfectly positioned for guests to use because the front door is just around there on my left and it's got a real premium feel in here again. We've got the large format tiles which continue all the way up onto the walls and we have a very large walk-in shower, but this room also leads to the room next door. And in here is your home gym, but as you just saw, the toilet is right there, so this could easily be a nice double bedroom with lots of natural light coming in again. Obviously, they've got it set up as a gym today. We've got some gym equipment here and even a sunbed in here too. Okay, so finishing up on the ground floor now, let's head upstairs and check out the bedrooms. Okay, so upstairs we have got four bedrooms to explore, so let's head on into this one first. Now, this room has been set up as a teenager's room. It feels very masculine in here with the black cabinetry and we've got a gaming desk in front of me, but as I mentioned, it doesn't come furnished, so you could do what you like with this room. It's a great size and we have some nice natural light coming in too. Okay, back into the landing, we have some very handy storage here on my left, but in here is bedroom number two. Bedroom number two is similar to the last bedroom we saw, again set up for a teenager and feels quite masculine. Now, we've got the black walls in here as well and they really get away with it in this house because there is so much natural light coming in. Back onto your landing, I'm going to show you the family bathroom. Okay, so they've completely switched it up here in this bathroom. It feels a lot lighter in here with the white tiling and it feels very modern and fresh, but we've still got the black accents here on the mirror and on the hardware as well. We have a nice freestanding bath here as well as a very large walk-in shower. Okay, so two more bedrooms to see on this floor. Let's head into bedroom number three. Now, this is a really fun bedroom. You actually have your very own climbing frame in here, ideal for kids. I'm sure they're going to love this slide too. I did try and go down this earlier and it didn't end too well, so definitely leave that to the kids. Okay, leaving bedroom number three, this is what I've been most excited to show you, the principal suite. Wow, this is definitely my favourite room that I've seen so far. This is pretty incredible. It feels so luxurious in here. It really is like your own retreat. Now, over here, we have got a very oversized rainfall shower and we've also got double basins here, again, bringing in that black hardware. Again, lovely windows in here and we've got the Scandinavian feel too that we saw on the front exterior of the home that's been brought in with this timber cladding and panelling here, but I can't wait to show you the main bedroom, so let's go and have a look. Now, this is what it's all about. This is incredible in here. It feels like a really cool hotel suite. Now, the main point of interest being this incredible wave-inspired bath here and again, we've got that timber panelling behind it, so it's a real feature in the room. We also have some beautiful light fixtures in here too, one above the bath and one above the bed, which just really elevate the space and give it a nice ambience in the evening as well. Panelling behind the bed too, which looks beautiful and you even get your own Juliet balcony. Okay, so that brings us to the end of today's tour.
