Jasmine and Afnan discuss the transition from social media influence to building a sustainable, high-income brand. They emphasize that true wealth comes from authority, robust business systems, and a high-frequency mindset rather than follower counts, focusing on the psychology of selling a vision and the power of relatability to drive growth.
This is the difference between influence and income skills.
Your Instagram page is cute, the real flex is your systems and your brand
and all the automations that you have.
It's rent-free because we built our brand so big that people,
the first thing that they think about in our industry is us.
I love that we set the bar so high for women so they can rise up to that standard
and we can all make money.
You are not too late, you're just early to your own alignment.
Next question.
This one's good for you because you're just making a lot of money right now.
Most influencers are broke. Let's just say that very, very clear.
Most influencers are broke.
These influencers are literally in my DMs telling me,
please, I have a million followers and I can't even make $5,000 a month, which is crazy.
I'm always learning something from her.
You don't have to be 10 steps ahead, just one step.
That's all that matters.
Actually, sometimes when you're one step,
you're more relatable than someone who's 10 steps ahead.
The biggest L that I took online and I learned from was...
A lot of you guys requested for us to have a podcast together
since we've been doing phenomenal with the podcast style content
and you guys are like, oh my God, do a podcast together while you're in Dubai.
And I'm like, we're both like, why don't we do it in the desert?
In Lamborghini.
And while the sun's setting, literally in the back.
So we gathered a whole bunch of questions that you guys asked,
whether we found them through comments.
We found them through DMs, emails.
You guys told us that you guys need these questions answered
and they're very good ones.
You guys came up with good questions.
So without further ado, Jasmine and Afnan, Jazzy and Afi on a podcast.
Let's get it rolling.
Dubai desert style.
Dubai desert, Dubai desert Lambo edition.
Yeah.
Okay.
Love that for us.
Okay, without further ado, let me ask the first question.
What's the biggest L you've taken online that ended up being a blessing?
Such a good question.
Okay, the biggest L that I took online and I learned from
was launching my first digital product and hearing literally crickets.
That's all.
Okay.
So what this taught me was people don't buy into your products.
They buy into your brand.
And that shift right there made me so much money.
Multiple, multiple six figures.
Yeah.
So that's my lesson right there.
That's a very good one.
Okay.
Second question is if Instagram deleted your account tomorrow, could you still make money?
That's a good one.
Well, listen, your Instagram page is cute.
The real flex is your systems and your brand and all the automations that you have.
So we don't only rely on Instagram because that's like
you saying that if Instagram takes my page down tomorrow,
I have no business.
I have no income starting from zero, which Instagram takes a lot of Instagram accounts down.
So make sure you have systems, emails, YouTube, other places
that you can actually get in contact with people that want
what you have and what you offer and want to follow you.
But Instagram alone, no.
But yes, if Instagram goes down, my business will still be the same.
Yeah, 100%.
I'll add on to that.
I say yes, too, especially for the both of us.
We're very aligned with our branding right now.
This is the difference between influence and income skills.
Our brand put together, I believe, lives in people's minds, not just on one app.
Rent free.
It's rent free because we've built our brand so big that people,
the first thing that they think about in our industry is us.
Yeah.
We are the leaders in that industry.
Trendsetters.
Yeah.
Trendsetters.
Yeah.
And that comes with a lot of responsibility as well because we always have to be like,
OK, well, what's the next thing that we could inspire more women?
And we love it.
I don't want to be like, oh, my God, I'm doing this.
No one else should do it.
I love that we set the bar so high for women so they can rise up to that standard
and we can all make money.
It takes one to two to three people to be like, we're done with the bare minimum.
Let's do the crazy stuff, even bigger than the men.
And that's what we do.
We love just raising the bar so high that it's like, yes, any woman,
please take the recipes that we have came up with and tried a bunch,
failed in some, succeeded in some, but then whatever worked for us,
please duplicate that.
Yeah.
Please.
Period.
OK, next question.
This one's good for you because you're just making a lot of money right now.
OK.
She said that question is good for you because you're making a lot of money right now.
And with eyes like, a lot of money right now.
OK, so what was your I can't believe I'm making this much money online moment?
I would love to know.
We would love to know.
It was when I made in literally like less than six hours over $100,000.
And I was there to experience that.
I'm like, I'm refreshing.
I'm like, is this real?
Without.
No DMs.
No sales calls.
Nothing.
Just pure, perfect branding.
Solid branding.
A branding that has authority.
OK, so most influencers are broke.
Let's just say that very, very clear.
Most influencers are broke.
These influencers are literally in my DMs telling me,
please, I have a million followers and I can't even make $5,000 a month.
Which is crazy.
So likes does not pay us.
Followers does not pay us.
What pay us is having a brand so powerful with a lot of authority that people respect
and look up to that they want to learn from you.
They want to pay whatever it is.
You're selling a product service.
You're in fashion.
You're in makeup.
That's what makes a brand so powerful, whether it's a personal brand or actually a brand,
is the authority.
Do people be like, wow, whatever she's selling, I want to buy.
And that's what you need to learn to master to have a brand that will always pay you for
the rest of your life.
No broke little influencer vibes here.
Well, damn.
I'm serious.
Well, damn.
That energy right there is why she is so good at what she does.
Because a brand to add on to that is energy.
And this type of energy is very contagious.
If you don't notice it gets you like, I'm ready to go.
You know, so you have to be that for your audience.
And by tapping into that energy, you really have to know who you are, control your emotions
and don't let your emotions take over you.
And because you have you have a calling, you have you have you want to have influence over
your audience.
You want to make sure that you are always vibrating higher because your audience needs
that.
Just like how you guys love our energy.
We we don't just wake up and like, oh, OK, we're vibrating high.
We got to work on this energy.
It takes work.
So yeah, I love that.
OK, let me ask you a question.
OK, go.
So what would you say to the version of you who is still working a nine to five and scared
to post online?
That's such a Jasmine question.
It is.
We know each other so well.
OK, so what I would say to my past self who was broke is you are not too late.
You're just early to your own alignment.
OK, so we got a lot of doubts when we first started.
And we're like, oh, I don't know anything.
I don't know if I can do this.
Am I worthy enough for this?
For me, I would tell myself back then to believe a lot more faster, sooner, because the reason
why it takes so long for someone to succeed is because they're one foot in one foot out
because of their belief system.
So if you can believe and believe and be so delulu in your vision, you will always operate
at such a high frequency.
And oh, and that will turn into urgency, pure burning desire with with action.
And through that action, you create faster experiences because that's all it is.
The reason why we're successful is because we just have a lot more experiences.
But the problem is, is a lot of people are scared to fail.
So it stops them from creating experiences when you need experiences to grow and get
to the next level.
So I just realized you're recording with glasses and I'm not.
So I put them.
So I hope that people don't mind.
I'm like, well, she looks so cute.
All day today.
You're like, oh, I forgot to put them on.
When you look at mine.
Because I don't wear, it bothers me.
So I don't, I don't wear sunglasses.
But to add on to that, playing small won't protect you.
It just delays your freedom.
Yeah.
So the faster you get to not playing small and playing big, the faster you get to the
freedom.
I agree.
That part.
I love that cars are coming around us.
Okay.
So two more questions.
Okay.
And these are really good questions because I know you guys have all been there before
and you guys would love to know how we do it when things don't go our way.
Okay.
So the question is, what do you both do when sales are low?
First of all, I cry.
And I wake up and wish that the sales came through.
But that's just reality.
Sometimes there are days where we do not make sales.
And God forbid that happens.
Yeah.
But there's time.
Of course.
No, of course.
There is times.
It will happen.
A hundred percent.
So not to me.
I'm just not manifesting that reality.
Even if it happens to me, I'm not saying it out loud because that's not my reality.
You have to relate to people, babe.
It's going to happen.
No, people need to know that it happens, but you should not think about it.
It isn't happening because that's not our reality.
Our reality is we always get sales.
But if that happens, God forbid.
God forbid.
Because we always want days of wins.
Can I answer my question?
Or do you want to just keep asking the question?
Okay.
So if that happens, I don't panic because that actually does happen.
I'm joking, guys.
That happens.
We just go ahead and look.
Well, why didn't we not have sales today?
We're going to strategize.
We're going to use the big word, which is test.
I love the word testing.
People are so scared to try new things.
And the reason why me and Jasmine are where we are today is we're not scared to fail.
We know the faster we fail and the more we fail, we are just closer to success.
So I'm testing and strategizing like, okay, well, why didn't we not have sales?
Were the posts not good?
Were the call to action not good?
Did we not connect with enough people?
Are the closers and our DMs not closing?
Is our messaging, is our automation, is our offer not good?
Like we're testing, seeing what works, strategizing, again, testing.
And you're always growing and getting better.
There's always something you're going to get better at.
And I do want to add on to that because I feel like people do that, but they panic.
So they have very scarcity, fear, energy.
Yeah, you can't have that.
They have anxiety.
And so nothing manifests with that type of energy.
So I'm going to add on.
And people can feel that energy in your content when you're like,
you know, some people are like, well, if you're broke, you should get my course.
And it's like, okay, well, that's not the right way to promote anything.
It's like there is a way where you educate and inspire, not put fear into people.
Yeah.
I don't like putting fear into people.
Yeah, me neither.
Yeah, I like inspiring and educating.
Inspiring versus using scarcity strategies, scarcity marketing.
Yes.
So but to add on to that is for me, I first check on I'm always like mindset queen.
I'm always the mindset queen.
I'm always like, I have to first check my alignment,
not the algorithm because our energies is what makes us money.
Yeah.
So if we can tap back in because, yeah, it's going to happen where you just like
you you have bad days and then the emotions come in.
But if you can control your emotions and get back onto the frequency,
then you will get back on on your feet and and and market yourself with that type of energy of like.
Sorry.
What is wrong with you?
Why?
Why are you like this?
I have lipstick on my teeth.
Check your alignment, not the algorithm.
Your energy is what makes you money.
Okay.
And that's how we do things here.
I have lipstick on my teeth.
And *******.
This is the most realist episode you're ever going to get from us like.
And the Jamaican food is like.
Happy having jerk chicken stuck in between her teeth in Lambos in the middle of the desert.
No, and there's lipstick, babe.
Okay, there's if you want to ask one more question, we can, but that's pretty much it.
You can ask me one more question.
She wants to be asked.
Okay, what's another question that you guys asked was,
what's the most underrated skill that made you rich online?
You know what?
Number one, I'll be.
This is very, very, very good.
And I don't think we'll talk about it as much as audience psychology.
Yes.
Human behavior.
Yes.
Human behavior like people that want to sell whatever you're selling.
You need to be the person that is buying the most to understand what do people like?
Yes.
When they're getting sold to how do they like being sold to?
What's the emotions that's going through them when they're buying?
So me, first of all, me and Jasmine are the easiest people to sell to
because we will literally buy if you just are nice to us.
And you talk about emotions, emotions.
You sell the vision.
I'm sold.
So I'm like, okay, the vision, the vision.
She always tells me, can you sell me the vision?
And I'll agree to it.
And when she gets so mad, she's like, I'm like, do I need to sell you the vision when
I'm trying to go to sleep?
I'm trying to go to sleep.
Can you sell your own vision to yourself right now?
Wrong time.
But I love that about her because she's like, okay,
like I'm not going to just say yes to this.
Sell me the vision.
And then I sell the vision.
She's like, Ooh, now I'm convinced.
But same thing to people.
It's like I can tell people I have a branding program.
She has a branding program.
We teach this, but it's like people don't care about the product.
People don't care about the information.
Oh, I have the best information.
That's great.
But sell me number one, the emotions, how I'm going to feel when I learn the
information that I'm going to learn and make it to the other side of having the
freedom, having the money coming in.
Number two is sell me where I'm going to be the transformation, the transformation,
where I'm going to be after, you know, and sell me the vision.
Like, can I ever be like you and can I ever have what you have and get there?
And if people can relate to your story as in, wow, she's there and I can get there
too, they're going to be sold no matter what you sell.
Because human brain can believe something if someone else have accomplished it and that
someone is close to them on the Internet or someone who's responding to them on the DM.
Like we respond to people in the DM.
They're like, wait, she's talking to me.
She's literally asking me questions.
I can do what she does.
Please help me.
Please, you know, guide me, mentor me.
And this is the biggest thing.
And that's literally what branding is.
It really is.
Yeah, it's just branding isn't just logos.
It's how making people feel a good way, feel like they can get to where you are.
And even if you're not where you want to be, that psychs a lot of people out.
I was like, well, you have the Lambo, you have the lifestyle.
Of course, it's easy to to inspire.
But even when we were broke, we were still painting the vision because we were just one
one step ahead of our audience.
And people are still inspired because they just want to be one step ahead.
So you can be one step ahead.
And by doing that, I consistently learning new, new knowledge, reading, listening to podcast.
She her every morning.
She listens, listens to podcasts, watches YouTube.
We're always learning something new so that we can always be one step ahead of our audience
so that they can have the desire to be like, wow, I'm always learning something from her.
You don't have to be 10 steps ahead.
Just one step.
That's all that matters.
Actually, sometimes when you're one step, you're more relatable than someone who's 10 steps ahead.
So true.
Because it's like, like, I cannot relate to Kim Kardashian.
I'm like, this girl is so out of a whole different breed.
Like, just I can't even see her.
Yeah, so I cannot relate to her.
Even if she talks to me and she calls me, I'm just going to still be like, she is so far fetched.
Yeah, a whole billionaire.
Yeah, a whole different life, a whole different environment.
I cannot relate to anything she has.
Yeah.
But when you have accomplished little things or even big things, but not that big,
people relate to that more.
So share your wins, no matter how small you think they are.
They're big.
They're big to someone else.
And that's something Jasmine has taught me because me, I'm ******* like,
we need to only share when we make a million followers.
When we have a million followers, it's just like,
if you don't celebrate your 200K followers, and I did not celebrate.
200K, 300K, 400K.
300K, I did not celebrate.
400K.
400K, I did not celebrate.
And I told her, and you know what she did?
She did.
A little story.
Thank you guys for 400K.
Thank you, yeah.
And then 500K, I did.
Why did I do it?
Because she was on FaceTime with me and the videographer was in front of me
because we just finished shooting.
She's like, babe, you're like 2K away from 500K.
I'm like, okay.
She's like, record a video now.
And I had to go and record a video.
So we did.
And now we celebrated 600.
But I think we can even do bigger celebrations next time.
Next time.
We got motorcycles coming by.
Can I come in the back?
Wow.
Okay, wait.
Wait, I need to record this.
Do it again.
Not the bay.
Come on, come on, come on, come on.
Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.
Let's go.
Wow.
Oh, so cool.
So cool.
That's a good ending.
What a great ending.
