The kitten was taken to the veterinarian where she received a clean bill of health. She was given the perfect name Mercedes inspired by the car she had been rescued from. Soon, Mercedes settled into her new life between the auto shop and the family home. She quickly became part of the team, charming everyone she met especially the shop's dog, Tink, who completely adored the tiny kitten and treated her like her own baby.
