Come along with us as we head back to one of my favorite places in the world,
Positano, Italy. This is actually my ninth time visiting and somehow it never gets old,
but this trip we switched it up a little bit and headed to Mallorca, Spain before the Amalficos,
which had been on our list for so long. I'm so excited to share with you this trip.
Let's get into the vlog. Car rental is ready. Time to explore.
Hello, my friends and welcome. We just made it to Mallorca. We got in yesterday and I'm
already obsessed. Okay. Firstly, we have a visitor. Oh my goodness, you guys,
I love cats and we have a house cat. This trip is off to a fantastic start. We're here for the
next five days and it's our first time ever here. So we're going to just take it and explore.
We're staying in two different places. The first couple of days, we're going to be in the south
of the island. Checked into the cutest Agriturismo, which is like a farmhouse. I'll show
you around the grounds here. It's stunning, beautiful gardens. It's adults only. And it's
just a very charming place. As you can see, our room, we have this whole back area has a house
cat. Say less. Actually, say less. Today we are just taking it easy. We definitely slept in from
the jet lag, but let me show you around this property. This is our room that we're staying in.
We have like a really cute backyard with our own lemon tree. This is adorable.
And then when you walk out, you are greeted with the most stunning Bolivia, like absolutely
gorgeous. A dream. I want this in my backyard so much. I looked it up. You can grow this in Miami,
but this color is stunning. Look how beautiful that is. There's even a pool over here and
there's no one here. No one. But we do want to check out the beaches here. That's one of the
reasons why we are here because we know the beaches here are really unique and beautiful.
So we definitely have to check them out. But this pool, I'm eyeing it up. And look at the front
entrance. If I had to pick my American house to live in, it would be this one. I kind of want to
take a picture and try to paint it. It is so beautiful. It's safe to say that I'm already
already obsessed. We started off our day with the complimentary breakfast and their breakfast buffet
stopped at 12 noon, which I thought was amazing because we did sleep in. So we got to get in our
last bites. They made us a fresh eggs and we have this cool orange juice machine. So you could have
fresh orange juice. They had plenty of meats, cheeses, and even some local honey. And it was
the perfect way to start our day with all these chickens here. Aren't they cute? Oh my gosh,
they're all running towards me. I'm wondering if our breakfast eggs came from that. Bye chickies.
We then made our way over to our first beach. Thankfully our car had GPS, so it was really easy
to navigate and get around. This beach was only like a 12 minute drive from our hotel that we
were staying at. And we checked out S Trenc beach first. This one is known for shallow waters and
really crystal clear blue water. So if you want to go swimming, this one is a really fantastic
beach to go to. I will say it was quite narrow, so it does get pretty busy, but it's a super long
beach. So it's really easy to kind of find a spot and just take in the amazing view. If you go
further down, there was less seaweed and the color of the water was absolutely stunning. And we had a
nice breezy day and it was a beautiful way to have our first day in Mallorca. Now the following day,
we checked out another beach called Lombards. And it was an easy like 15, 20 minute drive with
plenty of parking. And this beach was incredible. Now this day was a little bit cloudy for us. So I
know if the clouds weren't there, the water would have been so beautiful. We walked around, we enjoyed
the view. And there's really cool kind of coves that you can walk up on and kind of explore around
this beach. Plus they do have organized sun chairs. This beach kind of reminded me of the beaches in
Milos Gris. So it's kind of giving me those like fisherman vibes. And I really enjoyed this one.
This would be a really good one to kind of lay out all day and just take in the sun. Because of the
clouds, we were not planning on having a full beach day. So we just checked it out. And then we drove
over to a really cute town of Cetani. We are now exploring the village of Cetani. They have cute
boutiques, restaurants, where to get a bite to eat for lunch. Lunch was so good, around like 50 euro
for all that. We had like a lot of tapas and the wine was delicious, had like very earthy flavors.
So the local wine was great. Now we are just walking around, checking it out. There's tons of
shopping. There are bars, restaurants, all kinds of things. Cute little town square. I'm looking for
this ceramic shop because I really want to see if they have anything cute. So let's go try to find it.
This is such a relaxing day. We ended up actually just going back to the pool. It's so quiet here. So we
had just like some peaceful moments. We are hungry, so we're gonna head back into town. It's like
literally a two-minute drive, but it's definitely nice to have a car here because you can do
basically whatever you like. Here's our car. Let's go. We stayed in a small town called Ses Salines
in the town center. It was super small, just a few handful of restaurants and shops. We went to the
restaurant Sa Fusiera and it was actually very, very good. We had a great busqueta, gambas al ajijo,
which is so good, warm shrimp in a garlicky sauce, and I had a nice fish. We are all packed up.
We are actually switching hotels. We are now leaving the south part of the island and we're
going to go north in the mountains. We are staying at the Son Boyola, which is a beautiful hotel,
definitely like one of our more luxury splurges. So we're really excited to check it out. Wearing
this lightweight, easy breezy top. I do have like a short form video for what I packed on the trip.
I can leave it linked down below as well, along with these linen shorts. I am going to miss this
garden. I'm also going to miss my new cat friend that was always around. Beautiful property. I
definitely recommend. Drive was about an hour and 45 minutes north and we passed through these really
cute, charming towns, but most of the drive was actually these winding roads with amazing sea
views. We then arrived to the hotel and were greeted with these gates that opened up as we
arrived, which was so epic. The views alone, I was so excited to check in. Hotel, this is Sir
Richard Branson's Mallorcan Estate. It's actually a renovated 16th century finca, which is a farmhouse
and there's only 27 rooms. So it's a very intimate property. And not only do we have the opening
gates at the front, we also were greeted with these lion statues as we drove up to this stunning,
stunning hotel. This was definitely probably the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. Upon
check-in, we were ushered to have maybe a glass of wine or a drink on their terrace, which again,
beautiful views. I love the gardens, amazing fresh flowers. They took our bags, put them in the room.
We were able to take in the property. They have a gorgeous pool. They also have that garden area.
They have a spa. There's a tennis court and tons of walking trails. All right, a little room tour.
Such stunning details. It's so gorgeous. A little welcome amenity. Our view is stunning. We have a
nice view actually of the pool and a little bit of a sea view. I even love the bathroom,
kind of like styling. It looks like very chic and beautiful. Love the design and everything.
And it's very comfortable. It's cozy. And they even gave us these traditional slippers, shoes.
I call them espadrilles, but these are not espadrilles. They have a different way of saying
them. But these are our slippers. And again, a beach basket to walk around the resort with. So
this is where we are. Tons of walking paths. So you can go to the sea. They have donkeys and they
also have different villas and a tennis court. So you can walk around the paths, which is really
nice. You could bike. I think tomorrow morning we'll do the morning walk up here. Good morning,
everyone. Starting the day off with a morning walk. And this one that we're going to lead to
their beach. So we're going to check it out. You can even see the property from behind me.
Amazing vineyards that are here. There's donkeys, chickens, peacocks, quite the animals. Now we have
to press the gate and the gates are open. Even gave us these water bottles. This is quite,
quite the place. And it's really beautiful because the sun just rose. And we're headed to the beach.
Halfway done. The views. Beautiful. Just see the water.
Made it to the beach. Definitely a pebble, pebble, pebble beach.
Peddle? Pebble. Pebble. A pebble beach for sure.
Having some breakfast after our walk. There's a buffet or you can do online. So there's a beehive
on site. And this is the local honey. Hard working little bee. So cool. Look at that.
All right, now we are headed off to the pool. It's absolutely gorgeous. Wearing this really
cute butter yellow gap linen shirt along with these linen pants and easy beach cover up. Let's
head to the pool. The sun was out and we ran to that pool. We actually picked a spot in the garden
to overlook the water and the beautiful flowers, which is more serene and quiet. There's also
vineyards on this property, which I thought was really cool as well. We indulged in a few Hugo
spritzes, which I think is going to be the drink of the summertime. I ordered this big burger with
fries. I got these croquettes and Al got a salad. What a relaxing day today. All day here on the
property. Now we are headed off to dinner. It's crazy because the sunset here is so late. Like
at 10pm. It's almost still bright out. So it's 730. It feels like 4pm but we are headed off to
dinner at the same place where we had breakfast. A little outfit of the day. This dress is actually
from Amazon. Believe it or not, the cutest little polka dot dress. It feels dressy enough, but still
really comfortable. It also does not wrinkle in a suitcase. So highly recommend it. Super cute and
fun comes in different patterns as well. I will leave that one link down below. Now let's head
off to dinner. We are at dinner. Look at this view. Stunning. I'm thinking of fish. What do you think?
Perfect, thank you. It's like a whiskey tea. Our Mallorcan dream was over and reality check.
Back to the airport. Back on our next flight to Naples where we get to Cosentano, Italy.
We just landed in Naples.
I am a friend of the owner. Ah, Gipi. Gipi, my friend. When I look at the name,
you are Gipi. Yeah, I am Venu. I know. I know you are opening for your luggage. Because you know
there are the stairs. Now it's organized. Somebody help you. Oh, perfect. We made it. We're back.
Our little corner. Oh, almost tripped. And we've made it. A travel day. It was actually quite smooth
which is good. And we are back in our favorite place. I'm so excited. Oh my god. Everyone,
we are in our favorite place. We keep coming back because it is the most beautiful place
in my opinion. It just feels so charming and honestly this view never ever ever gets old.
Look at this. We are staying at our favorite B&B. I will leave it linked below. Look at this view.
Are you absolutely kidding? We are here in like early to mid-June. So like that second week.
And the weather is perfect for the next few days which I'm really excited. But we are already
running late to our first activity. We are doing a boat tour with Blue Star. So let's head on to
the beach. Coming back every year. Now it's tradition. I think it's nine years. I believe.
It's not my 10th. I think it's my 9th because the 10th anniversary should be like a really big
party. I feel like. Yes. We do the same things because we love it. Taking our way down the beach.
You know, I'm not as prepared as I was in the past with these steps. So if you're coming here,
take the steps everywhere you go. Call it Post Tano Boot Camp. Get your stairmaster in
because it's no joke. Absolutely no joke.
All right. We're getting on board. Our ride is here.
A highlight of my trip to the Amalfi Coast is always being on the water and seeing it from
the boat. I'm telling you it's the best way to spend your day. You can jump in the sea. You can
refresh. The colors are beautiful and you can see the amazing landscape. We did a private tour with
Blue Star but you can also do a group tour which we've done before and we highly recommend. You
can hold it. Okay.
Grilled prawns and grilled vegetables.
Okay. They know how to feed a boy.
We are now in Amalfi for a little stop. I want to get a Delizia Limone. It's like a very famous
pastry here. So we're gonna go to Panza. They have a nice bakery. Okay. Let's go. A little busy.
Cool. We made it across the street.
Right here. How about this? The lemons is cute. Okay. We stopped for a Lemon Delight at Panza.
We also ordered two limoncello spritz. I guess we're like in a lemon mood, right?
Oh like a lemon frosted kind of cake.
And now we're gonna go back on the boat and enjoy our rest of the day. Seeing Positano on your way
back from the boat tour is a sad moment because you do not want this day to end. It was so perfect.
We lucked out with the most incredible weather and coming back to Positano you just realize
how beautiful and truly magical this place is. We had an amazing day on the boat and now
we're off to dinner wearing this really cute dress. You will not believe it's for Amazon
and checking out the restaurant. It's in Fornillo. It's called Oro Rama at the hotel.
I have met a new friend. Oh my goodness gracious. Wait why is it like you more than me?
Oh you're an orange kitty. Oh okay. Another morning in paradise. We are all ready for the day.
Another beach day. Now this is called amateur behavior because I thought, you know,
let's not put on sunscreen when we're on a boat for six hours in the full sun. So I am very
sunburned but we are going back to the beach again today but under the umbrella today. We're going to
the Daffodil Beach Club in Fornillo taking the steps down and we're gonna take them back up
because tonight we're going to by far my personal favorite restaurant in Positano. We're going to
Il Tridente so I want to get back and like shower but let me show you the view properly because
yesterday we were just really rushed and here we are. How beautiful. And here's my little beach
look of the day. This swimsuit is actually from Amazon. It's so fun. I'm loving the polka dots
lately and these J.Crew linen pants. I've been wearing these almost every single day to be honest.
Such a good buy. I also like how they are double lined. So for a swimsuit cover up like not too
see-through at all and I was in between my Birkenstocks and my Quint kind of sandals and I
went with the Quints ones. I find them to be almost even more comfortable than Birkenstocks
over on the vents. I highly recommend and the white color goes with all the outfits and then
I'll probably put on this buttery yellow linen tops to like cover up. We're walking to the beach
and for lunch I think this is a cute look. I love this look. So fun. Let's head over to the beach.
One of my favorite viewpoints, the Bolivia Sea and I love how the sea is sparkling. It's gorgeous.
And we're walking the path to the front of the beach. I find, whoa, this staircase to be the
most brutal. I feel like the steps are uneven. There's hardly any brakes. This is heart-pounding
when you come back up. So I'm not looking forward to it. I cannot complain because we have
beautiful weather. It's not too humid actually. It's kind of a breeze and it's sunny so I cannot
complain at all. I actually did not check the weather before we came. I think that was my good
luck charm. Usually I check and it's always like maybe raining so maybe don't check and just hope
and pray which is interesting. If you do a boat tour you kind of have to book that in advance
and so I always say book and pray that you have great weather and it actually ended up being good
for us yesterday so I'm very happy about that. And now I see the beach. It's gonna be such a good
beach day. For lunch we usually order the neurano pasta which we did but we're gonna do a fish
instead. Grilled fish, grilled vegetable. It's perfect. For free you can choose vegetables,
salad, and french fries. We come to clean for you all the fish to all the bones and we serve
also with a soup of citrus. It's like lemon and orange inside. Okay, thank you.
The famous neurano pasta. Oh it's so good. Basically just cheese and zucchini.
This is like adult mac and cheese and it's so good. I'm glad that we ordered the fish.
Also comes with this like lemon fishy broth sauce. Wow. We are definitely dipping that bread
into this sauce and this sauce and these plates will be finished. Let me tell you.
Such a good beach day. Now I am dinner ready. Going to Il Cidente, my favorite at Hotel Poseidon.
Wearing this really pretty Amazon cotton dress. So comfy. Comes in so many colors and I feel like
it looks way more expensive than it is. And we have actually a gorgeous evening.
Il Cidente at Hotel Poseidon has to be, hands down, the most beautiful restaurant in the entire
Positano. It's covered with beautiful Bonaviglia. The view is incredible and the menu has great
dishes. We started off with a crisp glass of white wine. My favorite. And we ordered the
red tuna tartare with tomatoes, capers, and olives. So delicious. Along with the sea bass cubes.
I ordered the paccheri pasta with lobster and Al got the spaghetti with garlic,
chili peppers, and anchovies, which were both really, really good. We are now taking
the elevator, the first elevator in Positano, to a new cocktail lounge.
So okay, let's press the button and we'll get inside soon.
Okay. Oh my gosh, I love these doors. Okay, we're in. Oh, sorry.
This is the first year to open the Adera bar. Yes. What does Adera mean? Adera is just the flower.
Yes, Italian flower.
Look at that. Cheers. Cheers. A little perfect way to end the night.
Now, let's talk about things to do when you are in Positano. This is my ninth time, so I was looking
for new things to do. Of course, you have the beaches and beach clubs. You can do a private
boat or boat tour, which we did. You can do day trips to Capri, Italy. You could do a day trip to
Amalfi, Ravello. But I was thinking that I wanted to try something different, which is why I booked
a wine tour with Swirl the Glass. They pick you up in Positano. They drive you to Tremonti, which is
around a two hour drive. It's in the mountains to learn about and also taste some incredible Amalfi
wines. And you find vineyards all in these, like, as the valley curves. Look at the viticulture
practice. Pergola vines are a lot taller. And the other main difference compared to the modern
technique, which as I was saying, you know, the vines are in rows, is density of plant.
Now, this tour was extremely interesting because we learned that this wine plant was actually an
ungrafted plant, which is extremely rare to see. There was a plague that came and almost wiped out
all of the vineyards in Europe. But this plant survived that. It was really cool to see and learn
about that. And we get to taste a wine that is only made from this plant. This is going to be the new
facility. Not open yet. But when it's open, stunning. It's also going to be four rooms. You
could stay here on property. So if you want to do like a full wine trip, this would be beautiful.
The views are incredible. It was finally then to start tasting the wine. But first, we had a
prepared lunch with the wives of the winemakers, which was so sweet. Their food was delicious. And
I loved how charming and small this felt. We then got a full lesson from our guide, Christian, who
is a sommelier, to learn how to taste wine properly. How does this white wine from the Amalfi Coast
comes across? How would you describe the color? The color is clear. Clear. Pale lemon. And gets
even more watery on the rim, you see? So look how the wine moves into the glass. If it's thick,
oily. And then once you stop swirling, look for example in Elisabeth's glass. You see the light
that the wine drips down? The closer together the drops, the slower to drip. And the more viscous
means it's a richer, fuller body. After our wine tour, we picked up three bottles. We have the
rosé. This is a red wine. And we actually had this at our restaurant our first night. And then we also
got their Spumance, which is a sparkling wine. So a fun souvenir. You can also ship bottles if you want.
But we just wanted to do these three. We'll probably enjoy this one on our trip right now. Maybe this
one too. But definitely want to take this one back home. Nice kind of red wine. A fun souvenir. If you
love wine or you like tasting wine, really fun. Very knowledgeable guide, Christian. He was the
sommelier at Les Serenes. Now he does these tours. So always a small group as well. So really intimate
and you can get to know each other, taste wine, and learn how to taste wine properly. Now another
top thing to do in Positano is to go shopping. There are plenty of shops selling linen items,
ceramics. One of my favorite places to stop in is Casa Y Botega because they sell these
linen dishcloths. And I always get one when I come visit. I love that they come out with new patterns
every year. And I picked up the cutest styles. And then of course I had to pop into Luisa Positano.
They make handmade linen dresses in the most gorgeous prints. Very much Moda, Positano,
classic Italian style. This year I tried on a few different dresses. So I tried on a few different
dress styles and I love this silhouette. It's like the first silhouette I tried on. And I love this
wisteria pattern in the blue and green. It's so cute. I'm actually gonna wear it all day today.
My other clothes are inside. I was wearing all black. This feels more
to the destination. And Luisa is actually here in store. So let's say hello.
That was the last time.
Now another restaurant that I love going to is next. It's one of my absolute favorites. It's
surrounded with this gorgeous jasmine that smells incredible. And they have a great menu. They also
have really good cocktails. We started off with some light bites. My new favorite dish in the
world. Raw rosso gamberi. We then had their lemon pasta with fresh caviar on top. I mean come on,
so good. Have you ever tried the fish in the sauce? I love potatoes. For our main we had the
sea bass with a salted crust which adds the most incredible flavor. Again, one of the best
restaurants I feel like. Really good service, food, menu. If you're in Positano for just a few nights,
put this one on your radar and it's pretty easy to make a reservation.
And it is our final day in Positano. This trip went by really really fast. But each day we kind
of did something different and I'm glad that we did do that wine tour because we learned so much
and it was definitely kind of a cool experience to do something completely different that we
usually do. Today, our last day, is the most beautiful weather we have ever seen. I don't
think I've ever seen it this clear ever. So we're going to go right to the beach and we're going to
go to the main beach. I actually really like the main beach because I think the chairs are even more
spread out than other beaches. So I find it to be very relaxing in my opinion. But I do like to get
like kind of like sit in the back and also like to sit all the way towards like the rocks. So that's
what we're going to do. But first we're going to pick up some sandwiches at this bakery. They make
everything, the bread, they make these amazing like lemon slushies. They everything in Parana,
they ship it to here in Positano every morning and the bread is so fresh. The sandwiches are
delicious and the ladies there are so nice. So we're gonna get up some sandwiches and head
straight down to have the best day ever. I've never seen the water sparkle like this.
It is stunning today. Just wow. So we're a little early for the sandwiches. They're about to be
delivered. They are worth the wait. Okay, the delivery is here. Amazing. Yes. Sandwiches are
secured. They have like ricotta cheese, arugula, and prosciutto. Fresh bread. Amazing. 8.50 euro.
So good. Let's see if the beach is busy. Main beach. It's like 11am. All right.
And if you want to know the 2026 pricing for the main beach, we have 45 a chair,
so 90. And they can include bathrooms, changing rooms, and all that. And if you want the front
50 each, we're actually going to do it because it's only $5 more per person. But I think they're
all reserved. So I think you can reserve the front row if you want. But you have got more
space. It's quite spacious down here. So it's very relaxing. You can hear the water.
It's quiet right now. Probably will pack up later. It is Saturday. But we're going to enjoy
time here. And first things first, it's time to eat those sandwiches. So here's the sandwich
I've been raving about. Just look how creamy that cheese is. It is very good. Very, very,
very. You're in for any low, definitely check it out. All right, I finally made it in the water.
It is refreshingly crisp. I wouldn't say it's warm, but refreshingly crisp. But if you are in
the sun, you're going to want to just jump in here. Oh, it feels so good. It's a little deep.
Oh my gosh, the view is incredible. So it's about 6pm. It's like the latest we've ever stayed at
the main beach and it's actually so calm and relaxing. The sun is right about to go over
the mountain. So we're supposed to be in full shade probably like five minutes. But look at
this view. We're kind of left to go to dinner. It's very calm. Look at our row. No one's here.
We had such a great day here at the beach. Got some sun. They didn't have to put our umbrellas
down because it got too windy. So you can see everything is down. And we're actually
going to just stay here at the beach, have some pizza and spend our last day in Positano in a
very relaxed way. That's it. That's our sun.
There goes our travels for June. I really hope that you enjoyed this video. We love coming back
here. It's such a special place to us. And we did so many things on this trip. So I hope you
found it useful or just hope you enjoyed this video, had fun with us. We are sad to leave,
but I hope that you guys have a super awesome rest of your week. Thank you so much for watching.
If you like this one, give it a thumbs up. It helps me out so much. And with that,
I will see you all in the next one. Bye!
