She showcases a variety of new furniture, floral arrangements, and decorative accessories, demonstrating how to incorporate boho and vintage elements to update a living space and dining area for the season.
Hey everyone, it's Emily here. I hope you're having a beautiful day so far. Today I'm going
to take you for a shop and decorate style video, giving you a little refresh, adding a couple new
pieces and hopefully you'll get lots of inspiration on ways you can decorate your home for summer.
I'm actually going to take you to the at-home store and do a little shopping and I'll share
with you a haul and then we'll decorate and I'm so excited to partner with them for today's video
and share with you lots of different decorating ideas. So I hope you do enjoy it. I'll try to
have everything linked down below so if you like something you can grab it and decorate your home
with it as well. So without further ado, let's head on to the store and do a little shopping
and come back here and decorate. One thing that I like that the at-home store does is they set
out different displays so you can see furniture collections together and I think that's really
nice. You can sit in everything and everything is already put together which is so nice.
I'm going to highlight is a painted desert collection and it is so pretty. I love the
boho hints in here and I love that everything is very unique and different, something you don't
typically find at the stores and I like that they have such a variety of the colors. It's very
playful. Which items would you add to your home to refresh it for summer? This vase is massive
and it's actually gonna go in the dining room. So they took that large planter that I had in
the dining room and put it out on the porch. I really wanted this one to go where the old one
was. I think this will look absolutely spectacular there and it's lightweight. It's just metal so it
looks super heavy but it's not and it's just fantastic. I love how it looks. So I want to
put this over here in the dining room. I wanted to switch out the dining room tree. I want something
a little bit more slender. That way your hair doesn't get caught in that when you walk by it.
I honestly I like both trees but for getting around this is nice because
you just don't get your hair caught on it and it's not so top heavy you know. I wanted to grab
a few different accessories for the living room shelves and I saw this hammered metal bowl tray
and I love the way this looks. I thought this is great. It's neutral but it also is a little bit
more rustic and I like that especially for fall and Christmas. I think it's really beautiful
and so I thought this would go really nicely. It just has a little wave to it scalloping so yeah
definitely a good choice. I like a few things that I grabbed for this home decor haul that I think are
so beautiful and they will go for a couple different seasons. One being this beautiful floral.
Now this is called a thistle bloom. I actually wasn't expecting it to be called that because
thistle is usually purple and thorny but this is really beautiful. I love the way these look and
these were four dollars a piece which I think is fantastic. They're very realistic looking
and they look so good all together. Another stem that I got which is a regal feel is this beautiful
hydrangea. Look at the green on that it is gorgeous. This smaller hydrangea here that has a little bit
of green to it. I don't know if you can kind of see. It did have a full white and a cream but I
liked a little hint of green to it. I am a sucker for green and I just thought these were so pretty.
The leaves are so realistic looking beautiful inside and out but I just had to grab these
florals. I thought they'd look beautiful here in the living room for summertime so hopefully you
can grab some too. The at-home store carries all of these florals in different colors from yellow,
pink, purple, and blue so if green is not your coloring they have them in the other one so
hopefully that helps you out. I thought this vase was really pretty. They actually have this pattern
on two different trays as well so if you don't want the vase you could get a really pretty
platter for serving and just setting out to collect things and stuff. I thought this was
really really pretty. It's double-sided and I just I love the green and blue together. I think
they're really pretty. And then I did grab this beautiful basket vase. You guys know the last time
I took you to the at-home store I saw this and I forgot it. It came home with me this time. I love
the look of this and it was $20. They have it in a lighter version and then they also have a couple
different styles so if this isn't you you can get a little simpler detailing of it but baskets are
always great for decorating. Now if you've never been to the at-home store you are definitely
missing out. They have everything you need to decorate your entire home. You can shop for
lighting, mirrors, rugs, furniture, tables, chairs, kitchen decor, bedding, pillows, outdoor furniture,
and pottery. They literally have everything that you will need to decorate your home and make it
look absolutely beautiful inside and out. And then to change up the living room I did grab the Ellis
coffee table. Now this is part of their new collection at the at-home store and I think it's
really pretty. They have this in side tables and also a console table. I'm going to try a rectangle
in here with a little bit different shape and also it has a shelf on the bottom which allows you to
have a couple extra things underneath it. This would be really nice so I think it's gonna really
change up the way the living room feels. And if you know me I am a sucker for vases and I could
not pass up this one. It is so pretty. I love the detail on it. It is gorgeous and it's nice and deep.
I actually got this for the coffee table and it might be a little bit tall so I thought maybe I
could put it in the entryway but it's just a beautiful shape and I love that it has that
old look to it. So it adds a little bit of a vintage flair which I like. And then for a splash
of color I could not pass up this beautiful scalloped blue bowl. I'm a sucker for vases
and scallops and so this one just met all of my needs. I mean look how pretty that is. Think about
that when you're looking at all of the vases and stuff. You can use them for different hosting
events that you might have coming up. I also just grabbed a couple different hammered candle holders.
I just thought they were really pretty. I like the detail on that one. This one's very
kind of old looking and I just like the little bit of vintage charm. And this one's nice and
hammered too and just has a different feel to it a little bit more abstract. I thought maybe this
one could work because this vase is so tall. Again staggering different heights is really
great when you are decorating. This just gives a little bit more visual interest and it also
adds more layers. So think about heights when you are decorating tables and your shelves and stuff.
I also grabbed this marble book holder. I just thought this was fantastic.
Maybe you like a little bit more neutrals and so
pairing in a really pretty marble tray would be nice as well.
I did want to highlight a few more furniture pieces that you can find in store and online.
Again they have everything to decorate your entire home with and I love that you can sit in
everything and really get a feel for if it's going to be a good fit for your home and your family.
I love all the outdoor collection. If you missed my last at home shop with me I'll leave it linked
here so you can definitely go check that out. I focus a lot more on the outdoor furniture and
stuff so if you have backyard and patio to decorate check that video out because it has a
lot of great items in it that you don't want to miss. So since this coffee table has a little bit
of a different look to it I thought it would be a great idea to switch out the area rug which is
something I like to do seasonally. I think it can really give your home a different look and you
don't have to spend any money. You can swap it from a different room and stuff which I love doing.
So I have this rug that has a little bit more green in it which I like a lot more and this one
is just pulling a little brighter than I like it to so I'm going to swap it out for this other one
and you can tell me which one you like better. Well I like the way the summer room refresh turned
out. I think it looks really pretty especially with a couple new additions. Hopefully you enjoyed
coming shopping and decorating with me today. Again everything will be linked in the description
box below. I hope you enjoyed coming shopping and decorating with me today and got a few new
ways you can decorate and spruce up your home for the summer months. Everything will be linked

rest of your day. Thank you for spending part of it with me and I will see you in the next one. Bye!
