We went all out for the 4th of July and turned our 18ft Christmas tree into a full-blown patriotic monster. 🇺🇸
We hit Hobby Lobby, bought way too many July 4th decorations, and spent $XXXX trying to make this the most American Christmas tree you’ve ever seen. Was it necessary? No. Was it worth it? Absolutely.
Let me know what you think — would you decorate a Christmas tree for the 4th of July?

It's time. You guys are asking where are we? Well, I'm going to show you. We're at Hobby Lobby.
What are we doing? We're going to decorate our 4th of July tree. We're so excited about it
and we are here. Things finally went 40% off. We're going to shop. Let's fill up the tree. Let's go.
I think the most we've spent was like $1,500 on a tree.
Oh, so we can actually start over here you guys. Take a look. 4th of July has really picked over.
All right. We're going to, we're going to buy a lot of stuff. I knew you were going to grab those.
So we need all those. Okay. What else do you guys want to see? This is,
we can get something like this for the fireplace. Yeah. I like the bow one. Happy 250th.
Oh, can we use that one year? Can you put this with it? The beads? Sure. Okay. Grab whatever
you like the beads be. Oh, these are cute. Look how pretty. Grab whatever you guys want.
Where are they going to go though? They're too little. Do you think these would be good on the
tree? Cause they're big. We can try. Yeah. Cause they're bigger than like, these would be too
little, but I think because they're big enough that those would work. Okay. So we're going to
get a bunch of them, right? Okay. I didn't like them all. This stuff is when they tie in knots.
Well, don't put them in a knot. Yeah, that'll work. Okay. All right. All right. So obviously
we need this. Oh, cute. Okay. Yeah. Let's put it in the other cart. Welcome Matt. Which one
are we doing home? That's where you want. Yeah. Party in the USA. Miley Cyrus would say,
do you want to put one of these under it? That's the, that's the trend, babe. You put this under
that. Let's do it. Okay. Boom. Fall is going to be amazing. I can already tell. All right. So let's
just look through here. Oh, we need this. The cow. I knew you were going to grab that stick.
I think we're going to need a few, a couple of these. Yeah, we definitely need that. Salt and
pepper shakers. Oh, we do. Just look and think, what can we put? We need table runner. Table
runners. Yes. We need two. Which ones do you like? This is only one, right? Yeah. You want to do two
of those across the table? So this would be 68 inches. I think we need three. Three. Okay. Okay.
These could go in the tree. Paper lanterns. Yeah, those are pretty. Those are easy to
make. Blair loves making those. Sculpture balloons. The sculpture balloons, I think,
are out of our wheelhouse. All right. Anything else? Oh, look at this. Wow. A whirly-durly.
That's for the, you can put them in the two planters out front. Yep. I love that. All right.
Now. All right, ladies, we got another one of these. Yeah, you love those. Do you want these
big one mill daily thingies? Oh yeah, we got to throw those in. That's going to go on the top,
the tree topper this year. Blair's going to be able to push that cart no more. All right,
so what else can we put in the tree that'll make sense? Those will be weird. That'll,
that'll kill someone if it falls out. Yeah. Unfortunately. Um, this, yeah, these are cool.
Do these. Oh man. What about these? Yeah, those pillows. Yep. Let's get them in. You guys want
some? Oh, that won't work. These are cute. Yeah, we'll throw them in. All of these. You want all
of these? All of them. All right, so we're going to get a whole bunch of these. These work perfect
because they're nice little ornaments and they're not much. They're $13.99 minus 40%.
Girl, look at the tic-tac-toe. Blair thought that'd be cute about the fireplace. Yes,
and we can actually, this is perfect. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of
America. All right. And this for the door? Let's do it. You want this for the door? Yep.
God bless America signs. More $13.99. Okay. I think these cards are full. We're going to
need some more. These are too little. Yeah. Can we do these? Let's do it. Okay. So what is this
thing? Oh, and there's more of your wreaths over here, Jason. Oh, that's perfect. How many of these
do we need? The limit doesn't exist. They're so cool. You do a cheer? Look how many. Let's get
them. Do you want these two? More of these? Probably. Yeah. Should we get another cart?
Yes. You want me to run and grab it? There's one over here. I'll grab it. All right. So we've got
some other options. Okay. I'm seeing more stuff. These are maybe too little? Way too small. Yeah.
Unfortunately. Look at those little bottle rockets just for cute though. Oh yeah. Fireworks.
We definitely have to put those in. For cute. We love fireworks. Let's get a whole bunch of those.
How much are these you ask? $23.99. So about $14. Does that work with what we're doing? I feel like
no. This does. That does. These do? Yep. We'll throw those in. Okay. Then do you think we have
enough? Nope. Oh, okay. You got a big tree. It's an 18 foot Christmas tree or tree. It's not
Christmas. What about these? Yep. Get those USA ones too. I like those. How about red, white,
and moo? We already have one. Okay. The small stars right next to you. Do you want those?
Do you think they'll stand out? I don't know if they're gonna, they won't hang over the branches.
These things are too little. All right. So those are too small. We're going to pass on the flag.
Do we want just like the red bulbs they're putting out? Like big red bulbs? Where are those? I don't
know, but they're pulling them off down there. Oh, that's for Christmas. It's almost Christmas.
All right. We got some more stuff over here. I'll grab this one. Oops. Sorry. Follow the law.
All right. So they got the star table runners or the flag. I think we go with the star.
We need all this stuff. You need those? Yes. Home of the brave. What are these for? Yeah,
throw them in. Three? Yes. Love it. Oh, look how cute. We need those. Tassels. Garland.
Hey, you're going to need this for the fourth with your nails. The glizzy, glizzy socks? She's
going to get hot dog nails. Yeah, you can get those, B. That's for sure. Oh yeah, B. You're
Disney. They got Disney themed. Yeah, you got to get them. And they're actually a good deal.
$14.99 minus 40%. These are like the good ones. Yeah. Okay, I'll wear these with you, B. Put
them in there. Blair, think fast. Think fast again. No, no. I don't think we need any more
stuff. That's really cute. Yep. There's the dog. I want the cow. I knew she was going to like that
stinking cow. Okay, the cow. Oh, these are pretty over here. Happy birthday, America. Red,
white, and boom. Get those. Let's get them. Yeah. I think we have enough though. Look at those
stars. You can never have enough. Wait, it's like Christmas. But it's not Christmas. I don't
think you can get it. We're getting them. Oh, cripes. And we're going to get the July 4th
cupcake just in case. I think we have enough stuff. We don't. You keep saying that. Put all
this in there. Oh, what's that? Way too much stuff. There's more dogs. I know, but they're
so little. Yep, we need it. Oh, you want to get birds too? Sure. Okay. Did we get the God bless
the USA one? Nope. Do you want one of each? In God we trust. These? Can we get that? Yep. Okay.
For what? For Stella. Oh, yeah. We're going to make Stella wear that. Yes. She'll shake it right
off, but you can try. This is not enough stuff. Here you go. All right. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Put them in there. And then the ladies will wear this. I don't know they're going to set,
but we're going to figure it out. Okay. I think we're good. Figure it out. We have enough? Should
we get earrings? They'll make my ears hurt, but if you want them, you can grab some. Yeah.
Did we forget anything? All right, let's go. All right. A little more than I thought,
but I'm okay with it. $27.23. All right. Not bad. Oh, thank goodness it went through.
We just spent $1,257 on decorations for our 4th of July tree.
We're crazy. It's going to be lit. Five carts. Let's go.
All right. Time to go home and decorate. Kept my ring the whole time this one.
We spent $1,257 to decorate our 4th of July tree. All right, here we go. We're going to
take this down in under a minute. Let's get rowdy ladies. Come on. Here we go. Let's decorate
this tree. God bless America. Happy 250th anniversary. It's a lot of years. I'm almost
one-fifth of those. Let's go. I think my favorite thing about July 4th is hot dogs,
but then spending time with family and friends and then probably obviously fireworks. What about
you B? You don't like hot dogs? What do you got against hot dogs? No bun with Blair. I don't
need buns either because then I eat less hot dogs. One time I won a hot dog eating contest,
but that's a story for later. Against Joey Chestnut. I don't know who that is. Shane will
show you. Joey Chestnut has the world record for eating the most hot dogs. All right people.
Okay, let's give you the big party troopers up top. Oh, I really do like our door.
That's cute. Go up top so I can throw these steaks at you. I like those. Yes.
You want the ball thingies? Yeah, let's get those up. Are we going to connect these around or how
do you want to do it? No, I think just throw them up randomly. They don't have to connect.
I'm going to go under the ladder so don't make it collapse.
Give me another one of those please. Thank you. Okay. Go down a little. Don't forget about Darren.
Okay. Go a little bit further in by the window. I put the bracelets on him, did you see? Yeah.
I don't know how big this is. I don't think it's big enough to go the whole way,
but you want to come help me with this piece? That's a great addition.
You could put his bracelets on both his hands. Oh, see, it's not big enough. You want to move
it over? We're going to have to move it. So let's try to go like, yeah, try that.
We have so many of those wreaths. Do you want to put some of these stars in these big ones
up there? Here's some other ones, Jason, to mix in. You got enough? Yeah, for now.
Okay. I'll leave that right there. Oh, Charlie Bean.
A fan gave us this ornament at Foxwood, so we're going to hang it on our 4th of July tree. Okay,
bye. Beep, beep. That's where it goes. Boop. Oh, Jason, you're crushing that up there.
Call you Martha Stewart of this tree. All right, Chris, you got more stuff you wanted to give me?
Yeah. There's a sack right there. That's a great question. You should probably wrap one
on Darren. Oh, thank you. Cha-cha-cha. Get out of here. I think I ate one. I think I ate one.
Nope. Okay, take that out. Don't leave that in there. She found a false shamrock.
Wow, we missed a few seasons. Yeah, we found a Valentine's Day today.
I need some God Bless America signs, I think. Like a big one? Yeah, the big one. Okay,
please hold. The big boys. Yeah, we have so much stuff. Thank you. Uh-huh. Oh, we have these too.
Um, I'll take a God Bless America. Coming in hot. Whatever we don't put on the tree goes in
your bedroom, so you got to find homes for it. Max, we're going to move this guy over the ladder.
Do you need more of the pinwheels or no? Can I just stick those in the tree? Yeah,
I'll take one more pinwheel, actually. Max, put it a little tighter on your side.
Yeah, I'm gonna go. I just didn't like being on the ladder. It always freaks me out.
Yep. All right, what do I remember for Fourth of July? Like, what are my favorite moments?
We would always go to Uncle Tony's. His dad had a cottage and we'd have a ton of fun there
until one year, Uncle Jerry, so Jerry and Big Dick have been on the channel. You guys remember him.
Jerry had a, one of those 500 gram cakes, a firework, and he lit it off and he walked away
like 100 feet, looked up in the air, and one of the mortars flew out of the side of the cake and
hit him in the eye. His eyeball fell out of his head and he has no sight in that eye anymore. He
has a glass eye in there. So that was scary, right? That sort of ruined Fourth of July's having
fireworks and stuff, you know. But we always had a lot of fun. It was always grilling, family. It
was always one of my favorite gatherings of the year. But yeah, Jerry gets along. He gets by just
fine now. He said he just, he used to drive. If he would drive and he had one too many, he would
always put one hand over his eye anyway, so it really hasn't changed anything. Welcome to Wisconsin.
Right, Jerry? And if you guys haven't seen it, you guys want to check out the video
where it was one of the last days at Clean Pack Foods where you guys can see me there working
with them. It was, it was awesome. So hand me some more stars, you guys. Hey, can you sing the Paris
Hilton Stars Have a Line song? No, I can sing Party in the USA, Miley Cyrus. No, sing the
Stars song by, by Paris. Remember that from The Simple Life? Yes, I do. I loved that show. You
were so little then. Me? No, I wasn't. Yeah, you were. These look like best in show, like when you went at
the fair. Wear it then. I'll take another happy fourth sign. Put them up. Sure, whatever you want.
We don't have those things anymore, hun, so you could put one on the corner of the chair. I'm not
going to fit that way. Please hold. When are we going to get the Savannah Bananas here decorating
a tree with us? We'll do a Savannah Banana tree if they come here. That'd be fun. A bananas tree?
Yeah, Savannah Banana. So if you guys could, please tell them to come here and we'll, we'll decorate
it in yellow and bananas and baseball stuff. I'll even buy all the stuff for it. You want to stick
this somewhere, like right here? It would go good in that hole. Yeah, thanks. And the cool thing this
year, it's Shane's little girl's first Fourth of July. Shane, how long until maybe she'll like
fireworks? This year probably, right? Fireworks scared Blair at first. All right, hand me some
more of those little, yeah, those things. Give me, grab a bunch of them. How are we, how are we looking
from far away, everybody? We're looking okay? It's very, very full. Hot potato. That's, that was a bullet.
Red fire sticks.
These are actually branded Disney, so I don't know why you wouldn't want to wear them.
Give me one more of those stars. What an athlete she is. That's me. Christy. This actually looks
really good. What do you guys do for July 4th? Put it in the comments below. We're gonna have
sparkles everywhere till the day we die. Poor Tammy's gonna be like, what happened to these
chairs? You guys have a party? Went to the clerb. Went to the clerb. What do you guys think of this
tree? $1,257. Ladies, I think it was worth every penny. What are you guys gonna do for your Fourth
of July? We're gonna hang out with family. We're gonna grill. Probably do some fireworks and plan
our next vacation. We're gonna have a lot of fun. We're gonna be safe. We're gonna have a blast.
Maybe hang out in our new pool too. Hopefully that's done. You guys are gonna love that video
too. We're gonna show you guys from start to finish, time-lapse video of us building
a $150,000 pool. But we appreciate you guys watching. Let us know what you want to see
next and make sure you guys tag the Savannah Bananas and say, you guys need to be on Mr.
Hanpay's next tree. I think that might do it. That's it for today guys. We'll see you real soon.
Make sure to check out my chicken parmesan with homemade sauce video. You're not gonna want to
miss it. It is my grandma's recipe from when she used to own a restaurant back in like Grafton,
Saukville area in the mid 80s. So you're not gonna want to miss it. A lot more cooking coming up too.
