We may be a family of 5 temporarily living with my parents while purchasing our first home, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make the most of the space we do have! ❤️ In today’s video, I’m sharing one of my favorite upgrades so far!
It was easy to install, works with voice and app control, and has made our space feel so much more cozy and functional.
✨ No hub required ✨ Voice & app control ✨ Supports heavy curtains ✨ Adjustable opening levels ✨ Quiet operation ✨ Fits different window sizes
Big thanks to Remac for partnering with us on this upgrade! 🏡

Hey Belles!
What's up?
In this video I really wanted to share with you guys a few goals of mine.
A lot of the things is very much family oriented.
One of the biggest things for me is being super intentional and really incorporating
a lot of family time and what better way to do that than to change up your space.
As you guys know we are living with my parents as we go on this home buying journey and with
that comes a lot of emotion.
In order for my children not to really feel the tension, the changes, I wanted to implement
things that were going to make us happy.
You know, happy changes in our lives.
They keep us on the up and up because things can get super duper low when you're in situations
like this.
So we like to enjoy the little things.
In the morning times I love to really sit down and think about my week and plan and
schedule out what exactly I'm going to be doing content wise as well as momming and
all the things.
Hey Google, open curtains.
The first thing I love to do when I wake up in the morning is go downstairs and open up
all the curtains in the house and really bring in all that sunlight outside inside.
The Rimac Smart Curtain Motor M1 is a must have if you're trying to brighten your day.
No pun intended.
What I enjoy most is how naturally it fits into our daily routine by getting coffee in
the morning, you know, sitting down in the living room as a family.
We watch movies.
We really needed some heavy duty curtains that were going to black out the sun if it's
daytime as well as brighten up the downstairs and open up that natural light.
One thing about it, I love natural light anywhere I go I need it and my mom's curtains were
a little bit outdated, okay.
She was not able to just open them up real big.
She had a lot of lines on her curtains and her windows were kind of closed in so it gave
that dark moody feel.
Hey Google, close curtains.
Also, when I'm trying to schedule out content during work hours, I'm able to close the blinds
to make sure there's no glare or anything like that like on my computer or if I'm watching
TV or something like that.
I'm able to make the mood extremely right for whatever occasion and it was easy to set
up.
That's the best part.
Being able to open up the curtains and see the pool area clearer makes life feel so much
more luxury.
I'm one of those people who love to romanticize my life and if I can do it in any way, I'm
going to do so.
Whether we're swimming, relaxing by the pool, or just watching kids play outside, having
an open view just makes life a lot more easier.
You can use it if you have a Google HomePod or if you have Alexa compatible with all different
types of devices.
It really feels like one of those little upgrades, one of those little tweaks like the sun hitting
my face that really makes life so much more enjoyable.
Another thing that we really love is just feeling like the backyard is more connected
to the house.
It feels like an open layout, open space, more open concept.
We're the type of family that likes to spend a lot of our time outside especially now during
the summer months.
Before, the curtains were so bulky that it was either hard to adjust and open them or
we would just leave them alone altogether.
Now with a quick tap on my phone or remote or a simple, hey Siri, open the curtains,
I like to say good morning or I'm leaving the house and she'll close the curtains for me.
Hey Siri, I'm leaving.
Hey Siri, good morning.
Hey Siri, good night.
Either way, you can set it however you want to do it, but it's a quick, simple, easy task
that you don't have to overthink.
You don't have to haul big curtains.
You don't even have to touch the window, okay?
It's that simple.
Honestly, it makes the whole downstairs feel very bright and open and gives it that indoor-outdoor
concept that everyone loves.
I'm telling you guys, it will seamlessly fit into any lifestyle.
Then in the evening time when it's time to wind down, I can close the whole house up
with one click of this remote.
Overall, I've been really impressed with how easy it was to install.
Just a two-person job.
Me and Uriah did it really, really quick.
It was simple.
We just literally looked at the instructions.
They sent videos.
We watched everything and did it ourselves.
It wasn't hard at all.
Between the compact motor design and the telescopic track that didn't require any cutting, okay?
You can literally customize it to whatever size.
The convenience to control it anywhere with any device.
Definitely recommend y'all checking it out.
I will link all of the information below.
It has become one of our favorite things to use every single day.
Once you're used to having motorized curtains, you can't go back.
It's honestly hard to even imagine.
So don't be one of those people who have to go over and manually open your curtains in
2026.
Y'all, if you guys have a home, it doesn't matter if you're renting.
It doesn't matter if you're in an apartment.
It doesn't matter if you have big high ceilings.
If you have low windows.
It doesn't matter.
Make sure you let Rimac know.
Ming sent you.
Y'all, I'm so excited to use my curtains.
Like y'all don't even understand.
I'm literally leaving these as a gift for my mom and my parents for letting us stay
here and I hope that they enjoy it as much as I have.
Bye y'all.
Talk to you later.
