Camping life escaping the city summer camping vlog what we bring camping meals essentials

We are going camping this weekend. We planned this around a month. Oh my goodness. Hi everyone. Welcome back. It's Malia and we're gonna go camping this weekend. As you saw, I had a little accident with the DJI just now, so we have a stable surface now. But like I said, we're going camping this weekend. Really excited to be outside, be disconnected, be in nature, especially since it's a long weekend. But Russ and I are gonna go to Pinecrest, which is around like an hour away from Yosemite, with a bunch of our friends. And we kind of planned this a little last minute, like around a month ago, because we all figured we were free for the long weekend. So we decided to spend our weekend camping. We've camped with this group before, so I already know it's gonna be a lot of fun. And yeah, we're just looking forward to a great weekend outside. Russ and I did a bunch of grocery shopping yesterday, and then he prepared some of the meals that we're gonna be cooking this weekend. We're in a bit of a rush because we want to leave ASAP to avoid some traffic. He just came home and my parents let us borrow their car. So we already finished packing. We just need to essentially pack up the car with all of our camping gear, all the food, everything we need. But hopefully this will be a fun little vlog and a little break between all of my travel diaries. I literally just posted my last Vietnam vlog today, and I haven't really vlogged ever since our trip. One, because we got sick, and then we kind of just needed a break, or at least I needed a break from just vlogging daily life things. So outside of that, life's been lifin'. Work has been a lot less stressful. I'll talk about that in another video, but I pretty much have a new position at work, and it's just been such a breath of fresh air from my normal day today. So it's been really nice finally having some work-life balance in my life. And that's why we're able to leave today a little early, because then I can log off a little early. But yeah, we're really just going to spend the weekend outside, disconnected, having great time with friends. I'm excited to show you the campsite. It's a really cool area. There's a huge lake, and we're going to rent a boat this weekend, so that should be a lot of fun. And it'll just be a weekend full of good food, good company, and great memories.
