Why does Yunnan have so many flowers and they grow so well? It is the diversity of Yunnan's nature environment that leads to the flower diversity. You may wonder, where do all these flowers go? Well, I'm literally surrounded by flowers now. This is the Dou Nan flower market in Kunming, the largest trading market for fresh cut flowers in Asia. By the way, flowers in Yunnan can also be eaten and it is a booming industry now. If you love roses and you love cakes, here you can have both of them. This place, registered in Anning City, is the main producing area of Yunnan's edible roses, a major ingredient of Yunnan's flower cakes. So, I went to a factory to see how flower cakes are being made. The making of flower cakes including flower collection, sorting, mixing, baking, etc. And I even tried to make flower cakes by myself. Well, not all by myself. And do you think that's all for Yunnan's flowers? Those flowers that we've just seen are more commonly seen in our daily life. But in Yunnan, there are also many rare and endangered flowers that have been well protected and cultivated. This orchid house contains over 600 orchids, including more than 400 dendrobium and many other endangered species. We protect orchids by protecting dendrobium and its genitals. In fact, orchids are more than just orchids. Blue-blooded orchids also have a unique characteristic, because orchids are diverse and so are dendrobium. So there's a lot of diversity in plants.
