AI GeneratedOakley discusses a new unit spotlight from CA regarding the Demigryphs in Total War: Warhammer. The video examines the character design, scale, and animations of these elite troops, while cautioning viewers that the footage is in-engine rather than final gameplay.
Hey what's up guys it's Oakley and CA has finally started to trickle out some more news regarding
Total War Warhammer. This is going to be just one individual unit spotlight on the demigryphs and
here I pull this up just so you can see obviously we've been exposed to these guys before but never
really seen them in action people have seen them in that demo but obviously we haven't yet so we've
only seen some small stills of them you can see them here and in this video they're basically
going to be showing off some of the artwork behind them the character design and definitely of course
I really enjoy the background behind all this but as always we're anticipating seeing what it looks
like in game and here they show you the sense of scale now this is just of course showing you that
Warhammer does bring a lot new to the table because the artists can go ahead and flesh out
the world in a way they've never done before and the variety of units so that's one of the things
I'm excited so regardless of how well or poorly they implement it Warhammer at least does promise
change so from what we've seen what they're starting to you know show we're definitely
going to be getting that and I'm glad they're doing these unit spotlights so we start to see
the specifics of how they're going to be showing that now then they show a little bit of again
character models they talk about how these are the elite troops so talk about perhaps this is
high tier stuff the character model itself looks great with the dings I love the little sheets of
paper and medallions and honor and then here they basically show character animations I think that
is a very important part of Total War I don't think they're going to have match combat animations for
every single unit just because there's going to be so many but at least they do have default
animations where you kind of swipe at the air in front of you and hopefully that's going to be
maybe a giant a troll a human an orc what have you but at least nail the individual character
models here in the animations like they said here they want to get an air of regality so I'm glad
they're going to try and portray that in some sense and then basically I just want to show
this still framing out here before which is showing the same screech so it seems like they've been
using the same animations over and over again I hope that does make it into the final game as
always keep in mind that most of the stuff we're seeing here is not in game but in engine now that's
a big difference because it means that obviously you know caution has to be invoked especially with
how we were burned with Rome 2 and a lot of the in-engine stuff the Siege of Carthage one being
the biggest so with that being said do keep in mind that they're going to have their first
in-engine trailer and that's going to be coming out this Friday so stay tuned for that we'll
you know dig into that and I'm really excited so I will see you guys next time
thanks so much for watching peace out
